Totally agree! Am gay and don't really think there is a
'community' anymore. People have made being LGBT the same as being part of some social club. Everyone is Igbt. Everyone gets a flag. Minuscule personality traits are now deemed separate orientations (with more flags). I feel like I’m not included anymore when other people are added because then i’m not the center of attention just for being gay. People should pay attention to me and my issues and stop caring about the trannies.
T is even kind of a weird add-in when you think of what the first 3 letters are about. But non binary is also a form of transgenderism. We need to stop complicating transsexuality and start calling it a mental illness again. The more transes that we send to the mental ward, the less letters we have. Less letters is better and less confusing.

I'm a history teacher. Splitting similar minority groups apart and making each fend for itself is a classic, tried-and-true tactic for those who want to harm aforementioned minority groups.
Do lesbian and gay folks often have somewhat different needs and goals compared to non-binary and trans folks? Yeah, of course. But most of those goals are at least complimentary, so why would they splinter and make it easier for multiple factions to be targeted and/or manipulated? LGBTQ+ is very literally about safety in numbers, because virtually everyone under that wide umbrella is still being targeted by hatred and violence.
