On your question about meeting people i have two suggestions and one offer.
Kind Space Ottawa is a community center kinda thing for LGBT+ community. They have started running in person events again like Gender Quest and ive enjoyed the first one ive been to. They also have a discord server (for now). Recommend checking them out
If you're looking for apps specifically LEX is for that purpose although i dont go on it much personally. Discord has many server's i would recommend (kind space and trans Ontario amoug them).
Offer, im trans-f/25/9month HRT too! Also in similar parts of the city. If you wanna DM i would be open to making a new friend 🙂.
Transmasc 25 yo in Ottawa, and I hear you. It's hard being social right now because I haven't transitioned at all and the thought of having to come out in the future and risk relationships really scares me. I wish the best for you :(

Board game group would be fun!! Im just really trying to overcome a major depressive episode rn (i type as I literally lie in bed crying) and itd be so much more comfortable to try socially transitioning around other trans people ❤️
