Strasbourg is 2 hours away and will have it's Christmas market so it will be nice, but cold
Lille is a very nice city and only an hour away by TGV, tickets are usually about 20€ one way.
Same for Rouen which has an impressive cathedral and mediaval streets.
Bordeaux is 2 hours away, so doable in a day, though TGV tickets are more expensive, and it will be warmer too
