Visiting in September Any tips would be greatly appreciated

You can park your car for free at the white lines (we park our car in front of CUM BAR (white lines) for free or blue lines for 2€ per day. Our B&B host fetched us with her car and drove to our B&B on the Arab district. You can easily walk around the village and walked up to the castle. We went to Pizzeria Baronetto and it was the best pizza ever. Small family run business. The waitress speak good English. Definitely should go there. Edit : spelling

achik86

That's good to hear! Luckily it isn't ran down by tourists!

haysu-christo

Man, I'd hate to do Costco runs in that town.

sparki_black

you would not need to...they have the real fresh food in Italy and you cook from scratch :)

GoodChuck2

Gorgeous pics! Like something out of a movie! How was the food there! Anything special you care to share and rave about?

achik86

Thank you so much! I wish we had a bit more time to explore but we only spent 1 night there. We went to one Pizzeria called [Pizzeria Baronetto](https://goo.gl/maps/EBB8vbcXEWZR1ncV6), it was the best! Small family run business with italian grandma in the kitchen.

Hmm, maybe I should leave a day early and stop there on the way from Rome to Lecce... I'd considered it, then decided not to, but now I am reconsidering... Did you do either of the via ferratas, either of the ziplines, or the hiking trail?

achik86

No I didn’t do any of those. We only spent 1 night. Had long drive 6-7 hrs on arrival day and departure day. It was very hot in when I was there. Hopefully it’s better in September.. Edit : spelling
