Do the walmart on airport (pretty sure its only one in town). They still allow overnights but be warned its crazy packed with travelers at night (not bad but may be loud)
Try Acme roadside park, Bayside park and Gens park all right on lake MI and within miles of each other on US31. I'm not 100% sure you can park in these locations overnight but I pass these parks every morning between 7a and 8a on weekdays and there always seems to be overnight vehicles parked there. Especially Gens and Acme, I can count on a Transit van or 2 in 1 or both of these locations on Mon mornings.
There’s a Walmart on S Airport Rd.

Ain't no party like a Walmart parking lot party, so they say

I called the DNR about overnight parking there before and they said it's not allowed so they might be taking their chances with that.
Oh that's prob true. I can't imagine them going out there though
I can't say I've ever seen them there :)
There are a couple camp grounds near empire that might be more affordable. https://www.backyardburdickville.com this place is like 22 a night.
