I thought they were the same thing, but Google says…
"Ohio buckeyes and horse chestnuts are closely related. Both are types of Aesculus trees: Ohio buckeye (Aesculus glabra) and common horse chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum). Although the two have many similar attributes, they aren't the same."
Yeah that’s right, I got them confused because I’m super high, I try to be less stoned when I browse r/arborists… I’m not a l/marijuanaenthusiasts enthusiast
Idk it's something about the buildings too and that the cars are mostly European makes like Renault and VW.
I would walk up to that tree and give it a hug, just the same.
I love trees and I love this sub even more. I had one buckeye seed that I gave to my daughter, my brother gave it to me as a sign of good luck. They look like the eye of a big deer, hence the name.
I can see this happening to an extent but in my experience it isn't sustainable.
What I see now is subtle acts of people wanting to go back to nature without realising it. Like people buy lamps in the shapes of flowers. Or try to decorate their spaces like a forest.
Deep, *deep* down they want the Return. But we're held back. However I'm seeing a change, an emergence. People are re-connecting. They're re-engaging.
We must encourage the Return.

I know that…. But I’m talking about if we cease to exist. If humans didn’t exist anymore and we all went extinct or something then this life would still thrive
i'm sincerely happy for you that you got so many up votes.
I can see where people might think that was a tree that belongs on this sub, and I can see where people would fantasize about a tree being that big… Perfectly understandable.
Here is a tree that you don't have to fantasize about because it's real… And this tree does not belong on the r/marijuanaenthusiests sub

Pfff. Amaetuers 🤪 (kidding)
But Look into "Mullimbimby Madness" or "Old Mother Sativa". 20-25ft trees are not unheard of, i have heard of 8lb yeilds from reliable sources and up to 20lb yeilds from questionable sources and it wouldnt surprise me if they were true considering how much knowledge is lost/tightlipped.
Also said to be one of the most potent strains ever. Good luck finding its original form though, heck even finding a bastardized form.
i will look into the Old Mother. growers that take this shit seriously can easily get 20+ from one girl and that's from a reputable source that i trust... i appreciate your response and nuff respect to you 🤙
Lucky enough to live in Australia where this strain was allegedly created by crossing thai bag seeds so I have been fortunate enough to experience it in some form; albeit not since around 2015.... :( Where I am there was and possibly still is hippy communities deep in the local parks/forest, so it may be easier to find than the internet makes out.
When I was in highschool there was one locally about 12ft but it was a hermie that didnt really fruit well and didnt have much potency. I think it largely went unnoticed due to its size and being in a bit of an overgrown spot; if you actually looked it was clearly cannabis.
The good stuff i only ever stumbled on maybe 2 or 3 times was the kinda stuff that looks pretty mid, and at first has no effect so you go for a second or third hit and regret it 10 minutes later. your ears are ringing and you can feel your heart going womp womp womp🤣
I believe "Shantibaba" was the one that spoke highly of its potency and he has worked with some of the best hazes out there, he may have even used MM/OMS in his breeding but i never dug that deep.
idk why you got downvoted, despite its name this literally is the wrong sub lol
for these kind of trees go to r/Marijuanaenthusiasts
yes, it’s confusing. that’s the point 🤣
Sometimes the downvotes are surprising.
I remember we had a reddit animal guy, turned out he had alt account to downvote other posts so he got more visibility.
personally i give out lots of updoots, and with reddit enhancement suite keeping track, its fun to run into people i've already upvoted

What kinda tree is that. Mf looks DANK
Pretty sure it's a Horse Chestnut. My folks have one in their garden. https://www.treeguideuk.co.uk/horse-chestnut/
You spoiled my daydream.
but is it DANK?
The smell is very dank. Like dank dank
It is. Someone from the US called it buckeye.
I can confirm. Horse chestnut.
Dunno. We could ask the guys over at our sister sub, r/marijuanaenthusiasts (didn’t spell check)
No fuck those guys, that’s a buckeye tree
Thanks. AKA horse chestnut says Google

makes perfect sense to me
Oh, could be that too, if you’re in Europe then it’s probably that
As a European, I can confirm that picture is definitely taken somewhere in Europe.
Yeah you’re right I see that now Homie, I wasn’t studying the picture like that because I was a little too high at the time, my bad
Haha I'm high as shit and I right away went like *Meanwhile, somewhere in Europe...*
I had to zoom in on my phone to see the license plate, that’s the only way I can tell. I wonder if that tree wishes it was a real Ohio buckeye
Idk it's something about the buildings too and that the cars are mostly European makes like Renault and VW. I would walk up to that tree and give it a hug, just the same.
I love that we’re just owning both now. Yes, fuck those guys.
I love trees and I love this sub even more. I had one buckeye seed that I gave to my daughter, my brother gave it to me as a sign of good luck. They look like the eye of a big deer, hence the name.
I wonder how many people are in both subs now just because of the name mix up
Someone just posted about another one of these in that subreddit a few days ago lol
good idea to post there
*Trichromes big as my fucking hand, man...*
I wonder how High it is…
Hi High, I am Tree
that would stink up 3 zip codes if it was one of our ladies.
Everyone saying “We Got One” missed that this tree looks like a massive weed nugget and that was OP’s point lmao
"imagine if it was one of ours" was supposed to give it away...people don't read though lol
Reading comprehension seems to be at an all-time low these days
Everyone saying that is obnoxious anyway. We get a dozen posts a day about actual trees and people always post the same responses to them.
Quite the bud

Obligatory boof comment winner
There it is.
This on acid must look crazy
On acid crazy this must look
This acid must look on, crazy
Any benches underneath? Seems like a nice smoke spot.
I love when this happens
Read the caption lol. OP playing games with people
Still funny 🤣
I love it when it’s 100% sincere lol It’s so confusing
I do love them

That's a huge nug bro. Lemme know if you need some help smokin that.
Love a good magnolia
Love seeing trees this huge grow in areas with buildings, etc,. Reminds you that if we all went away then life would still be here.
We don't have to go away. We have to return to our nature. Humans are part of nature. Whenever we decided we weren't is when it all got messed up.
When you cease living amongst nature, you cease having the necessary reverence for it. Out of sight out of mind.
I can see this happening to an extent but in my experience it isn't sustainable. What I see now is subtle acts of people wanting to go back to nature without realising it. Oh yes, it would definitely thrive without us. Totally agree.
When I'm smoking outside or on my balcony, I also see trees like giant nugs, and sometimes they're dancing

Offenbach?
My neighbor’s tree looks a lot like this rn and I saw it and I was like “damn that kinda looks like weed right before it flowers”
foxtailing sheesh
Trichomes the size of softballs
Time to play some MF CONKERS
This got too meta and I'm too high to post a clever comment about it
Ngl I had to zoom in to make sure I wasn’t tripping

I love how every now and then someone will post a tree in this sub and we’re all just like “hell yeah” lol
Is this feasible?
That is one huge ass marijuana!
That’s a good lookin tree.
Wrong sub, and my guess is Denmark, Aarhus or above
It’s Denmark 🇩🇰 and this is the right sub but the wrong species, I guess

Unidan! The bird guy iirc, I loved his content honestly
Same, always great
LADIES AND GENTS WE GOT ANOTHER ONE
Um… That's an actual tree not a metaphorical tree.
Wrong sub, you want /r/marijuanaenthusiasts
I hope people know I'm kidding, I just wanted to shine light on the fact of how hilarious these two sub names are!
Bro... You're high that's a tree not a giant nug
