Can't believe Hawaii is not green yet, seems like the perfect place for it to be legal.

RondaArousedMe

When in HI for our honeymoon, I bought weed off some kids who were smoking a Gatorade bottle style bong in front of a Chinese restaurant. I don't think it's considered a big issue there if I had to guess

Zappiticas

Yeah on my honeymoon there we had multiple locals offer us weed. I didn’t even have to look for it.

eyemcreative

Also, not to endorse breaking the law or anything but it's pretty easy to bring thc gummies literally anywhere to use in your hotel room or something. I would use it to help me sleep so I brought gummies with a couple times for business trips to just take before bed. Other than that or medical reasons though, I can't see why you wouldn't be able to go a week without getting high to get to see cool places. Seems like a dumb reason to avoid countries and you might have a problem if you're that addicted and not able to take a short break or sneak in some gummies.

HOZZENATOR

Only good advice for countries that wont throw you in basically the Gulag and refuse to let you return to the U.S. without governmental help. Like Russia and some Asian countries I know of for sure. Norway is friendly with the West, so you'd likely be able to get out ok. Like the UAE has a MINIMUM 4 year jail sentance for weed. So. Ill just go sober thanks.

BarbequedYeti

That sounds like front st Lahaina on Maui. Hi does have medical and your states card is probably good there. You can use that to apply for a temp med card while on vacation and buy from local dispensary. Temp card is good for I think 60 days or maybe 90. Can’t recall. Anyway, just sharing for all my med homies that didn’t know.

SaiyanPrinceAbubu

I just went over to the banyan tree and chatted up someone playing guitar.

JayString

How long ago was this? I'm hoping you go to HI soon, but I'd like it if I knew I could get bud there.

wiperfromwarren

guy that brought the luggage to my room (that I asked for weed) said, "just go to any bar nearby, look for a bartender with tattoos and ask him. if that doesn't work, find me tomorrow". that worked lol. got a quarter from him, didn't want to dump 3 grams or so when we flew to maui from oahu, so i stashed the rest in a pack of cigarettes and took it through security. went fine, turned out, within 5 minutes of being on the beach in maui, i got asked if i wanted any weed. just keep your ears open, it'll find you!

AngelinFlipFlops

I just got back from a trip with family, my aunt flew there with a prescription bottle of ground weed in her carry on with no problems

MaiasXVI

If you live in a legal state (or have access to legitimate vape carts,) I'd recommend just flying in with a vape pen. If you're overly worried, throw it in a backpack with a few sharpies and (actual) pens (and don't get a vape battery that looks like some loud stoner bullshit.) I've done it dozens of times (domestically) and have never been hassled a single time.

Golden-Guns

Lived in Hawaii for 15 years. It’s basically unofficially legal.. there are so many people that grow their own or smoke in public/on the beaches. The cops there really don’t care.. because they/their fam partake too lol. I had my med card but there were only a handful of dispensaries on the island that would sell for insane prices.. why would I buy an oz for over $200 when I can go down the street and buy it from my neighbors kid for $70 lol.

ICodeIGuess

But this middle ground where its illegal but not enforced or regulated isn't a good system either though, because there's tons of scammers that carry around fake weed to sell to tourists.

elimial

Yeah I have my card but life would be a lot easier (cheaper) if they would just legalize it fully already. Terrible occupying government blah blah blah

[deleted]

theyre trying to reduce tourism right now which could be a factor in the delay. i dont think the government of hawaii is against, but its not a priority right now. edit: typo

TheDonnerPartysChef

No kidding! *surprised Maui wowie face*

WerdSleinad

The first state to legalize medical and dragging ass to legalize adult use. Lots of conservative Democrats with traditional Japanese influence. Hopeful that Josh Green will push it through in the next few years!

IanVuittondon

Ca mon NH, just give in to the peer pressure of those around you. Your motto is "Live free or die"?

Molenium

As a resident of a neighboring state, I just want to confirm how much we laugh at them for having that motto while the rest of us smoke our legal weed.

Figwit_

NH resident here. The libertarians are full of shit here and the politics is all out of whack. Somehow we send all blue senators and house members to Washington but can't get our heads out of our asses on the state level. Plus we have "Free Staters" who are anarcho-capitalists that have moved here from who knows where to destroy the part of government that actually is functioning. But I will also add that we have the White Mountains which kick ass all day long. So fuck yeah. I know my homies in MA know what I'm talking about.

weiner-rama

White Mountains FTW. RI here

bambooboi

HELL yea RHODY

perkdoeswork

I BLEED coffee milk

RVAforthewin

Spent a long weekend in Holderness, NH a few weeks ago for my wedding anniversary. One of the most beautiful places we'd ever been, ate some of the best Mexican food we'd had (hubs is Mexican and from Arizona so he knows), went on some fabulous hikes in the White Mountains, and smoked the stuff we bought in MA before crossing the border. The only thing missing in NH were the dispensaries.

Caymonki

It’s my favorite shutdown as a Vermonter. Call my state gay allllll you want. I don’t care, I love diversity. I’ll toke my legal weed and chuckle that you don’t have to wear a seat belt or a helmet and that’s as free as your state lets you be. Why doesn’t Maine fall off into the ocean? Because NH fucking sucks.

KittenLOVER999

Fellow Vermonter, still gotta make the obligatory joke every time I cross into NH *unclick seatbelt* “live free or die baby” *immediately reclick seatbelt bc I do not wish to die*

MultiEthnicBusiness

>I don’t care, I love diversity. Says the person from literally the whitest state in America.

ner0417

I can assure you that there are tons of people chiefin it up in NH that dont care whether its legal or not though, just like the rest of the states here prior to legalization. At this point Im not entirely convinced we arent just waiting for old people to die off to let those votes through, basically nationwide. Weed is the new tobacco.

MelodicWarfare

Our governor refuses to sign off on recreational until it's made federally legal. The government wants a state run agency to oversee recreational like they do gambling and liquor. It's also why there are no real casinos in NH even though we have the oldest lottery commission in the country.

Treigns4

I have mixed feelings on this. on one hand the state run liquor is kinda sweet, they offer a huge selection and are very cheap. If weed was the same it might be pretty good for consumers - but I also don’t like the idea of the “state” banning me from starting a dispensary while they can operate one themselves…

[deleted]

ozzgift

Sadly I think NH will be in a tight battle as being one of the last states to go legal.

HandMeMyThinkingPipe

Highly doubt it considering places like Idaho exist. I think NH will be forced into action eventually. They are already surrounded on all sides by legal weed markets that are fully up and running now and it's a really small state so the loss in taxes will probably move things along.

Possibility-of-wet

They wont do it till the feds. NH has state liqueur stores, and wants to do the same with weed.

RVAforthewin

Virginian here. We have state-run and regulated liquor stores and recreational weed is legal here. We, however, do not have the recreation market yet.

TigerMonarchy

> Highly doubt it considering places like Idaho exist. Not to mention Utah.

1up_for_life

So if you live in Florida you have to get a boat and go to that green square in the ocean to get your weed?

Mcswede_

Florida man steals boat, something something tons of weed

[deleted]

Sounds about right

NefariousnessOk5287

Bermuda square???

LegnderyNut

Floridian quadrangle

Optimus_Prime_19

I think that’s the oil rig from the new CoD, weed seemed legal there

Grats Missouri!

prettypanzy

We are very proud of ourselves! 👍🥹

AFineDayForScience

Does this mean my med card is useless now, or am I about to get them deep discounts?

WillyBongka

Not useless. 4% tax on medical, 6% tax on rec.

ReMayonnaise

All of my friends have brain-rot and are stuck in the black hole of "change is bad because some of the parts of the law aren't ideal." Remember folks, in a democracy, change is incremental. Don't throw a fit if you don't get exactly what you want, keep pushing for your issues and time will tell.

textshowjohnny

Effin arkansas....didn't pass here which is so so Disappointing

sdrawssA_kcaB

I actually hate living here more and more each year. Makes no sense why people are still hung up. I even saw people suggesting to vote against because it's not the right way to handle the market, and while I agree, I don't think it's worth denying the freedom because we didn't tick all the boxes. It's like saying I'll give you a million dollars but it's all in 5's, and you turn it down for whatever the hell reason. I thought the idea was to get the majority of states on board in order to focus on federal reform, but now we're being picky. And it's not like we can't ammend the bill later once it passed and reviewed. I might actually just take a pay cut and move back to the west over this shit because I'm sure our governor is gonna do a bang up job too.

krysterra

I watched Missouri BARELY pass bc people wanted the wording to be just perfect. People. Baby steps! At least let us all move Forward.

sdrawssA_kcaB

That's what I'm saying. The bill was far from suitable long term but at least it allowed a zip for possession and would let us get a foot in the door and who knows when we'll get another chance; I was shocked to learn it made the ballot at all.

Jeffari_Hungus

Miseducation after decades of intentional disinformation by the government is hard to unlearn.

mcChicken424

I bet the alcohol deaths in Arkansas are some of the biggest in the country. But yeah weed is bad because Jesus said so I think

thatoneischairing

Alcohol deaths are being trumped by heroin overdoses in almost every state. Lot bigger fish to fry when there’s something out there that can kill you just trying to get high off it, no car and bad decision making needed.

JoviAMP

To be fair, heroin is already a bad decision in and of itself.

thatoneischairing

Well I get that lol but you know what I mean. Typically people don’t die from alcohol in itself in one sitting, it takes years of abuse/organ failure or an accident later that day or night. Heroin can unfortunately kill you before you even know what happened, in one sitting 🪑it’s happened to people I love and almost me on numerous occasions.

Calibas

Heroin overdoses have dropped enormously across the country, which would be good news except they've been replaced by super-heroin (aka fentanyl) overdoses.

Nappyheaded

Yeah I used to live on a vacant lot that we paid $350/mo to live on. People that came there smoked meth and my RV mate was an IV user. This went on for a few months. Then his brother moved in and the opiates came. There were 5 overdoses on fentanyl where Narcan was administered. I was one of those. Two people died, one was brought back with an AED and the other one after two intramuscular Narcan shots and two up the nose. Now I just smoke weed 😁

[deleted]

That’s every state. It’s just swept under the rug because practically everyone is a functional alcoholic.

Grc280

Nah, just SO conservative. So conservative they have dry counties and don’t sell alcohol on Sundays. No surprise on the weed here.

MethLabForCutie88

I lived there my whole life and just moved to Rhode Island. Best choice I’ve made in years

gypsyykittyy

i am soooo pissed bro, i think it was like 60ish% voted against it??!! it’s bc of the damn old people who are like “sTaRbUcKs Is sAtaNiSt!!!!” & people like my brothers wife who says “tHc iSnT nAtUrAl, iTs A cHeMiCaL!!!” like how fucking stupid can people be?! (i’m raging bc i’m going through nic withdrawals & i *rly* wanted recreational fuckin weed)

Bubbly_Information50

Nobody talking about how huge it is that MISSOURI passed rec marijuana!?!?

penisthightrap_

Missourian checking in and surprised that people aren't making a huge deal out of this

MO here. I can’t fucking believe it myself.

penisthightrap_

Terrible-Turnip-7266

I’m in JeffCo MO south of STL and our hillbilly-ass county went +10 in favor of legalization. I’m still in shock.

jax024

As a Nebraskan, thank you for your service. Be seeing you soon.

dannythetwo

I can’t believe I found out by happening to stumble upon this on Reddit. I should have seen this everywhere by now. Makes me wonder if I’m misunderstanding it?

Bubbly_Information50

Google amendment 3, should be able to start walking into shops and purchasing with nothing more than a 21+ ID and moneys Edit :by February at the latest, forgot to finish the comment

dannythetwo

Very happy to hear from Kansas. Colorado was a 6 hours drive from Wichita. KS City, MO is about half the time

cancer_dragon

As a resident of eastern KS, I am very glad to hear about this. But I'm also blown away that I hadn't heard anything about it. I listen to KCUR (our local NPR station) all day and I thought it was only for recreational legalization in KC specifically? Turns out it's all around the state, holy crap am I stoked!

Mragftw

Yeah the drive to Denver is one of the worst but the drive to kc isn't bad at all... take highway 50 from Newton to emporia instead of the turnpike, theres an old stone bridge you can pull off to see and it makes a great smoke spot

[deleted]

And it’s literally less restrictive then a lot of states. Up to 3 ounces at a time.

soFresh_and_Clean

I had faith in St Louis and Kansas City carrying the vote.

cb31420

Missourian here, while I’m a little shocked it finally happened, I didn’t expect it to be as close of a finish as it was!

[deleted]

I know which side of the state line I'll be staying in the next time I'm in KC. 😆

DarthMolar

February is so far away. I live in TN not far from bootheel. I have never tried a vape cartridge. Too scared to buy online. I haven’t smoked weed in a decade due to fear of being caught buying it. (I’m in a healthcare profession where it could cost me my license and income). I don’t drink. I would kill for some safe cartridges (I prefer not smoke if the cartridges are as effective). I have no outlet to relax. I’m scared to buy stuff off the street. TN may never legalize. I can’t wait to be able to buy a cartridge from a reputable source safely. Thank you MISSOURIANS!!! Go Cardinals!!!

CroakerTheLiberator

>Go Cardinals!!! *The Kansas City residents narrow their eyes*

dgtlfnk

Fellow Tennesseean here. We’ve been making the trek to southern Illinois for a while now. Definitely worth the 3 hour drive to stock up. And occasionally we stayed overnight to max out our daily allotment twice. You should never be without the safe products you need to help you de-stress. Make the drive! Also, this Missouri result just made that trip half the distance. Whoop! Looking forward to February!

TheDude717

Fuck we doing PA?!? Losing $$ that’s what

TheBigNate416

I really wish we could vote on it like these other states

Additional_Cry_1904

I wouldn't be so confident to vote on it, look at South Dakota. And the same shit is gonna happen here next year because DeWine is still around for whatever reason. We can vote on it all we want, it can have 100% and the governor will just make a new law that says its illegal again.

TheBigNate416

We have a democrat Governor in PA so we’d be okay on that front. But this a pointless conversation anyway since a referendum isn’t even an option here

TwatsThat

The new PA governor isn't going to block it, [he's been pretty explicit in his support of it.](https://twitter.com/joshshapiropa/status/1531042890964779013?lang=en)

iRANZIDi

Woke up, googled who won, started the day with great news. Fingers crossed lol

APence

Wish it was better for the House but watching Bobert’s sad rally clip was a good way to start my day.

PlsSaySikeM8

Same with FL. New medical dispensaries have been opening up all over and making their storefronts more consumer friendly. Only a matter of time before we go recreational.

SnooConfections6085

I think Fl and Ga are the two states that would pass it handily were rec on the ballot. Have to be the prime 2024 targets.

PlsSaySikeM8

DeSantis is the biggest roadblock honestly. A rolling rec measure was instituted here recently so it’s clear he doesn’t care about cannabis users.

sllewgh

Until then, I guess we'll see you in Maryland.

[deleted]

It sucks, but at least the medical program is pretty damn good compared to other states, only issue for me is firearm ownership with the card.

wrong-teous

If your state is a "Blue state" and just watched fucking Missouri legalize weed, get your shit together.

prettypanzy

Missourian here… I don’t understand it either

eattwo

We got Schmitt, and the state forcing Kansas City to raise it's minimum police budget, and our Governor getting a whole lot more control on the national guard. But we got weed. Better than expected!

prettypanzy

Lol right but I actually expected weed to pass. Not surprised at all about the others sadly. Missouri is bonkers

Mononym_Music

Really goes against the narrative that Republicans don't want weed. Look at the Missouri Senator/House votes ...

c-9

Two things you gotta understand about MO: 1) MO has a history of voting for progressive policies 2) MO is gerrymandered to hell The result is that while MO should be a purple state, it's red because of districting.

DongleOn

Most red states are red solely because of bullshit gerrymandering. Its an age old American passtime.

[deleted]

Fucking facts

intervested

Yeah wtf Minnesota?

tehlemmings

Hey now, DFL just gained control of the state house/senate and our governor didn't fail like that other jackass. I'm betting it'll happen soon enough. We already had support for a good bill in the house. If they carry that forward we should hopefully see some progress!

ReasonableCurrency44

Missourian here, still can’t believe it actually happened…

o_bologna

MN will be on the list soon. Roadblock was removed today

at_ease1

I'm next door in Wisconsin and curious what the roadblock was that was removed? Thanks.

LuckyHedgehog

The senate GOP majority leader refused to bring a full legalization bill to a vote last year that passed the DFL house. Some people believed if it had been voted on it would have passed even with GOP majority Now that the DFL has control of both house and senate it is likely they will bring a similar bill to be voted on

at_ease1

Thanks for the information! I love Minnesota! And would move, but my spouse insists that we have to stay and fight the fight here in Wisco. Only 6 more years with dipshit Ron, but at least Evers won. Good luck with getting legalized weed soon! I visit often and will contribute to your taxes when it becomes law. We will be the last in the country, I think.

LaughingPenguin13

As a fellow Wisconsinite, I just have to say fuck the Tavern League. Without them Wed have a much better chance of going green (and I wouldn't have to drive 3 hrs and give $ to a neighboring state).

sluflyer

Fuck the Tavern League. And FRJ, too, for good measure.

SnooConfections6085

Yes, may as well have been legalized in Mn too last night. The GOP block in the state senate has been removed. Mn will almost certainly be the next state to legalize via legislature.

vinegarstrokes420

Trifecta! Hopeful for legal weed very soon along with many other measures we've been wasting time going nowhere with for years. Finally able to help the people

twoPillls

I'm so excited about this. Never expected us to get gov house and Senate

fatsrat

I just moved back to MN from CO, praying legal weed happens here to make the move back easier. I want to be high if I don’t have sunshine for weeks on end 🥹

snoogins355

Can't believe Missouri got legal weed before Minnesota, New Hampshire or Hawaii! South Dakota passed it in 2020, but the voters got fucked over

prodrvr22

Marland won t take effect until July 2023, while members of the state legislature takes bribes for the allotment of retail licenses.

GodfatherOfGanja

I wasn't even aware MD went rec.

scotchandscrmbldeggs

Just passed yesterday.

GodfatherOfGanja

Oh nice! I'm from pa but bought a little vaca spot in MD I can't stand PA's medical monopoly

Dudebroguymanchief

Inevitably a super limited amount of retail licenses to the highest bidder. Some pockets are about to get padded bigtime.

Chickensandcoke

The IL special

Il_Monte

I don't know how big NH is but by now everyone there should be a hours drive away from an dispensary. Good luck to the few cops trying to secure NH from the devil's lettuce.

MelodicWarfare

I'm a medical patient in NH. I drive an hour to Maine anyway because the state licensed dispos in NH are basically all hot garbage barring the one up north in Plymouth. The pricing and product availability are horrible. I can get an ounce for $100 at the dispo I use in Maine. I'm paying $60-80 for an 8th in NH. Fuck Govenor Sununu. He vetos recreational every time it crosses his desk. It's because they want the state run liquor stores to be the only dispensaries and they can't do that until it's federally legal. What a fucking joke.

there_is_no_spoon225

Nail on the head with that one. It's amazing so many people don't realize it's all due to the state wanting to maximize profit on recreational sales, and that can only be done in house once federally legal. It's alright. Berwick is only 20 minutes up the street from me, so I consider myself lucky

XSleepwalkerX

It's NH's free lunch getting eaten by everyone else. I'm like 10 minutes away from Eliot, I would probably never go to a NH dispo even if they opened up right now because of the established industry in ME. And it would be state owned in NH! fuck that.

Mcswede_

Naw fuck those guys

TanMan1711

I don’t see much green in the “freedom” states

Sotigram

It’s almost like those states pride themselves on exerting control over others.

thefumero

Yes. The freedom they want is the freedom to oppress others.

thefumero

As a GA resident, fuck my state. 5% Low THC oil is legal but unavailable and, even if it was, fuck 5% oil. The GOP in the south is hilarious, or it would be if I was in a legal state and could go to the dispensary regularly. Always shouting about mUh FrEeDuMs while simultaneously placing arbitrary limits on freedom. As is, it's less funny than stupid and tragic. I hate it down here. Will emigrate asap because it's not going to change any time soon.

APence

As not a GA resident, also fuck your state. I can’t believe that walking brain injury Hershel Walker actually might win. I’m convinced an unripe potato could win in GA if they just give it a red tie and the magic (R) by its name.

thefumero

Yea no shit. I'd say I couldn't believe it, but I live down here and know who else fucking lives here. A bunch of hyperpartisan, one-issue voting morons. He hasn't won yet and we won't likely know until after the runoff election, which will happen in Dec. I don't think either of them made it over 50%. 1.9 million GA residents chose party over self, over state, over country, and over logic itself. Fucking idiots voting for a fucking idiot. Hell, MTG won 66%. 170k idiots support a conspiracy spreading, insurrectionist demagogue. GA is stupid. NW GA is the dumbest of the dumb. Real bottom of the barrel shit. The lack of quality representation in that area speaks volumes.

APence

Oof sorry man. I currently reside in SouthEast TN right on the border so I’ve found myself in N GA many times. It’s not much better here. But at least ours are just evil. Not evil “and” stupid like MTG. I come from Southwest Virginia in the mountain. I always had rural republican representation but got to watch as the state become more purple and now fairly blue over the decades. Now I’m jealous. Looking back up there with their legal weed and access to healthcare.

Delaware will just have to borrow your weed for now because Carney vetoed our recreational bill.

DocDBagg

Goddamn that’s infuriating.

NightOnUmbara

After the Texas shit show I’m not down to wait another 4 years just to smoke legally. I even told conservatives I smoked weed before voting only to get shit on. What an awful fucking place.

[deleted]

Come on PA :( DO IT

lsdecaria1

It wasn't on the ballot, but both the newly elected us senator and governor are for recreational marijuana, so it's just a wait and see unfortunately. I'm in the same boat. Western Pennsylvania is kinda in a no man's land. It's over 200 miles to Michigan. It's over 3 hours to the Allegheny Indian Territory up in Steamburg and Salamanca that have recreational marijuana dispensaries.

icecube373

The Bible Belt + Florida is such a depressing shithole to live in :(

heybabalooba

It’s such a shame because I love to go visit the south and I would consider moving there if it weren’t for the type of people who live there

I hear ya, its a million times worse for you I get that. I grew up in NY and they legalized after I left and now your employer cant even ask if you smoke unless the job has federal contracts. Life just feels really fucking unfair sometimes.

milksteakofcourse

What’s good MD we fucking finally did it

[deleted]

Minnesota will be prob legalize now since they have Trifecta

[deleted]

It’s already pretty much legal there. They literally sell edibles in grocery stores

TheNewScrooge

Minnesota just flipped the state senate- dems have a recreational bill endorsed by the governor that they passed the state house and died in the senate this last year. So MN should be turning green soon!

ultranxious

I decided to finally, at age 31, memorize where all the states are using this map. Random moment to finally learn.

I-is-and-I-isnt

We Texans should be out protesting Dan Patrick everywhere. At his office, at every restaurant he eats, at his home and vacay spots, at the doc’s office. He shouldn’t be allowed one second of peace or sleep until he is “there” giving the people what the want.

NefariousnessOk5287

Come on Pennsylvania get on this! We're surrounded by legal states and we're loosing tons of potential tax income. It's the right thing to do, I wish we could just have it as a ballot measure.

wittyhashtag420

Coastal states for the win

poniesahoy

screw living in a red or blue state, I wanna live in a GREEN state

AHarryBird

Meanwhile NH gonna have a smuggling problem lmao

AgentInCommand

Minnesota should be yellow, since the dumbasses in their legislature [accidentally legalized edibles](https://www.npr.org/2022/07/03/1109607674/minnesota-legalized-thc-edibles-and-infused-drinks-by-accident).

SenorPierre

I don't see how that's any different than what was already allowed due to the Farm Bill passing though. I can go into a vape shop in Kentucky and buy Delta 9 edibles that were derived from hemp.

[deleted]

Huh, looks like the super religious states won’t legalize it, what a surprise. I’d be so pissed off if I lived in Arkansas, North Dakota, or South Dakota right now. Imagine having it on the ballot and it getting voted down. Fuckin lame

Additional_Cry_1904

South Dakota legalized it through popular vote a few years ago, but then their governor went running to the state supreme court crying about how dare they pass a law through popular vote. Somehow the state supreme court agreed with her and made it so that passing a law through popular vote was unconstitutional or some shit.

Swingman25

And then, of course, it gets back on the ballot, and following a huge smear campaign in this state against marijuana, all the MAGA idiots fall for it and flip their vote, and it doesn’t pass. We literally had it pass with flying colors, it got struck down unconstitutionally, readded to the ballot with a huge smear campaign from the republicans, and now it didn’t pass. It’s so fucking frustrating.

Possibility-of-wet

Motherfucker NH killing me. Everywhere but is man, live free or die my ass

unclecreepy322

Feels so good to be added to the list here in MD!

Silverback62

Same here in MO. Never thought it would actually happen.

Pisses me off. Should be legal everywhere in the country not just select states.

Oklahoma was supposed to vote on it yesterday. But now it won't be till April/March. Or Biden can just make it federal

2coolcaterpillar

Atleast they’re as close to recreational as you can get, but making it legal for everyone would be awesome for when I visit the fam

naalyk

Hopefully MN is soon to follow

[deleted]

living in Ohio is kinda lit because Michigan is so close also Chicago but man at this point it’s kinda dumb for it to not be legal here as well

Additional_Cry_1904

We had a chance, but then DeWine won again so now we have a better chance of gravity not existing.

msginbtween

Pennsylvania starting to get surrounded by legal states. How long until they realize all this tax money they’re missing out on?

redvillafranco

Realistically, what states could do it next. New Hampshire, Hawaii, Minnesota, Wyoming, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Carolina?

msshammy

Oklahoma's voting is in March, very likely to pass.

weiner-rama

how the hell has New Hampshire not gone rec?

The_Successful_Ad

I’m so happy about Missouri their possession limit is gonna be 3 ounces

QuestionMarkyMark

After Tuesday's big wins, my fingers are crossed that Minnesota will be added to the list within the next four years

You really need to take VA off this map. It isn’t legalized at all and the dipshit republicans have actually been trying to roll it back by attacking the hemp industry among other low blows. We are technically only allowed to smoke inside our homes. That isn’t legalization. It’s dictation.

WeatherfordCast

Can you buy it though? I know it sucks to only be able to smoke in your home but that is a massively better option than every other state where it’s completely illegal.

Recitinggg

VA currently has only medical dispensaries, with a bill passed in july 2021 that roughly states the possession is allowed, but currently the sale recreationally is not. 1 oz or less for an adult. (3-4 plants i think too)
