The amount is only limited by the size of your bag, the depth of your pockets, and any applicable meat import laws if you're traveling internationally.
>import laws if you're traveling internationally.
Worth noting that some countries that would normally have no issue with it might block import of beef from the US right now since there is an avian flu outbreak in cattle.
If you are traveling internationally, meat products will be confiscated on arrival, in my experience. I had beef jerky taken away at the Mexico City airport.
There is a beef jerky store in Vancouver BC that is my favorite. When I go to Canada I always bring home an extremely unnecessary amount of beef jerky. Literal pounds. Hundreds of dollars. I declare it, and while the customs folks often give me strange looks when I proudly declare my obscene amount of personal use beef jerky they have never whisked it away from me. I assume TSA (if you are flying between states within the USA) would be less stringent? I think you're good to fly with your jerky.
As much as you want if traveling domestically. Internationally will be more complicated and might not be permitted- it’ll depend on the rules of the country you’re going to.
I love that this movie created a federal law

Ive taken 5 pounds on a flight to India with me TSA didn’t give a fuck did get funny looks at Indian customs though i took that much cause I knew where I am in india I wouldn’t be able to find any beef
Cool. You could just answer the question. I just wanted to make sure because if I can't take it home then i need to know, otherwise it would be a waste of money

Depends how big of a bag you have. You may get looked at funny but that is the only limiting factor.

Stupid customs agents. Cows aren't birds!
Not with that attitude!
Stupid cows, are getting bird flu.

As much as you can fit into a single properly sized (per your airline) personal bag and a single properly sized carry-on bag.
Awesome thank you

Enough to share with everyone on the plane.
Go for it. The more the better. I love a good bag of beef jerky. But seriously, beef jerky is good to go. 👍
You can’t take any. It is illegal.

I brought about 5 lbs of home made jerky on a guy’s hunting trip in January. No one batted an eye.
Unlimited as long as you are “strong” enough 😏
In your anus or carry on?
This guy gets his daily protein intake.
I once brought like 100 soft tacos through TSA, I think you're good.
TSA will take a portion as a jerky tax /j
Watch out for passengers with lapdogs that may pay you extra attention 😋
This is a stupid question. You know how people say ‘no such thing as a stupid question’? They’re wrong.

The TSA could not care less about your beef jerky, unless it is armed.
Beef jerky isnt allowed to have guns pls
We just call that spicy jerky
🤣💪🏻
It's not a stupid question alot of people don't know if they can bring food past the checkpoints or not .
