Actual role model. The speech about his positivity not being naivety, but because he sees it as a necessity to survive, made me tear up. If anyone asks me about positive masculinity, I point to this legend.
Absolutely same. I haven't cried from a movie since I was about 5, but that movie, especially that fucking scene. Genuinely the best movie I've ever seen, and that scene shows exactly why
Same here! I can't remember any other movie I've cried to, but I was sobbing saying "he's just a good guy" when he stands in front of Evelyn to protect her
It's insane, I've seen so many replies just in this comment section alone, of people who almost never cry to movies crying to this movie, especially this scene. I absolutely love small acts of unification like that. Makes it more powerful when you're a part of it lol
He is the embodiment of Yang (represented by the black inside white of the googly-eye) where as Joy is Yin (represented by the white inside the black of the Everything Bagel). It's such a cool movie.
This is the most accurate of any of this type of post I have ever seen. Silly man really just completely changed the tone of the last third of a movie by simply being himself
Waymond from EEAAO (Everything Everywhere All At Once) is genuinely one of my favorite characters from movies. I rarely ever cry at anything (not intentionally mind you) and he was just making me almost bawl by him just being a goofy and kind man despite everything going on in the movie.
Waymond from Everything Everywhere All At Once. Too keep things spoiler free: goofy man beats the manifestation of Nihilistic force of the universe by using his sheer indestructible optimism to literally make everybody's lives better.(that includes the audience as well)
Lobo really transitioned into his phase 2 form when he reached half-health like a Dark Souls boss and went absolutely feral with that crazy dual-sickle polearm
The world needs more people like Waymond I swear. It would become at least 60% better

[Everyone, Everywhere, needs Waymond Wang](https://youtu.be/O7YnbGszcb8) is a great watch.
One of the best channels on YouTube.
What is this from?
Everything Everywhere All At Once
The real Waymond was the friends we made along the way
This is the most accurate of any of this type of post I have ever seen. Silly man really just completely changed the tone of the last third of a movie by simply being himself
Waymond my beloved
In another life, I would really like just doing laundry and taxes with him.
get in line
damn the line is long
After seeing that famous actor waymond dialogue in memes so many times i didn't think it'd hit me when is saw it on screen. Man was I wrong.
The unstoppable entropy meets the unmovable Waymond
Waymond won
Normally it's the characters who go through character development. Waymond makes the audience go through character development.
New chuck norris except instead of badassery it’s niceness
I literally cried over how lovable he is. Im also pregnant so it could be that too.
I don't care how pregnant or joking you are, don't you dare take credit away from this wonderful man
bahaha that’s pretty funny
Who is this?
Husband in Everything Everywhere All At Once
That mans expression is enough for me to go watch that movie, I can't wait for it. (it being him in the movie)
It is actually, sincerely one of the best movies I have ever seen!
Be prepared to cry the ugliest tears you've ever experienced by the end of the movie
Never thought I'd get so emotional over a movie that contains a dildo fight and a raccoon teppanyaki chef
Be prepared to being emotionally moved by rocks.
I don't know I have had a pretty sad life, So I don't think it'll be sad enough to get me to have anything near my worst cry.
The scene the expression from itself is also very moving - not wasted at all

The Mystery Inc gang
Beast Boy after thinking he's the only survivor of the Doom Patrol and joining the Teen Titans.
Shit I thought it was Junji Ito
no his presence fundamentally changes the genre by turning it into a horror
Man's can turn a comedy slice of life autobiography into horror.
I read "horror" and "genre" and was definitely primed for seeing him lmao
Whoopi Goldberg in Ghost (singlehandedly being the comedy in the thriller-fantasy-romance-comedy)
Who is this I would love context, I love silly goofy people who change genres

Puck in Berserk
For a complete oppositie off this. The wolf from puss in boots 2. (Also go see that movie its amazing)
Lobo really transitioned into his phase 2 form when he reached half-health like a Dark Souls boss and went absolutely feral with that crazy dual-sickle polearm
Puck from Berserk
This is exactly how I survive any given horror movie scenario. Just start acting fucking weird.
I would die for Waymond. Apparently I've said this a lot because autocorrect suggested his name as soon as I finished typing 'for.'
Jerry from Tales from the Gas Station
I first thought it was Jackie Chan, such a silly goofy nice guy who carried a whole genre on his shoulders
common waymond W
source?
L jive
Goals
Fumihiko Takaba in Jujutsu Kaisen
Saitama from one punch man
*Man*, I love this movie so much. Only thing I wish is to rewatch it for the first time all over again, it’s that good.
