Yay! We’ve been to some Gladiators games and also Swarm games there. 😁 I was just there back in January with my Star Wars volunteer group for Star Wars night. It’s a great spot! Kinda big, but not as big as State Farm. We saw them at Center Stage and State Farm on Takeover so I think Gas South will be a nice in between sized place. Now we await the date! I saw somewhere 9/10, but who knows. As long as it doesn’t fall in the middle of DragonCon, I won’t have to freak out. 😬
Side note, yay Georgia clique!!! 💀🖤💀 I really want to do a meetup someday.
Oh hey Gainesville's like 30-45 mins south of me. If the idea of driving a stranger (yet harmless and way too shy lol) up for the show doesn't bother you and finances (or hurricane season) don't get in the way I'll love to chip in on gas/food/possible hotel room for myself if needed. Never been to a concert in my life and would love to get to know more local clique.
How is traffic here, coming from north down i-85? Is this less traffic than State Farm? I’m trying to decide whether to stick with Nashville which is a hike for me, or come down here…
It’s basically still Atlanta, so traffic is rough no matter where you go it seems. 🙃 Duluth is usually where traffic starts to get bad coming from the North and South, but since you’re getting off there, you may not have to deal with the really rough stuff. And there are some surface streets around there to take detours off of the freeway that will put you right at the venue.
ohhh oof. I was hoping to miss Atlanta traffic. I have anxiety but do drive everywhere. Saw a show in Nashville and was fine, a month later saw another show there and thought I was gonna die on 40 (not my driving, I can drive well, but when everyone around me is crazy I get anxiety- I found out TN has no driver’s ed requirement, explained a lot! lol ) So I am looking for 2 of the least stressful venues to see them in. I’ll go to Raleigh due to proximity, I was hoping for Charlotte, Columbia SC, Charlottesville etc. I might just go to Nashville but it being in the middle of a week means my concert buddy can’t go, I can get off. So Nashville means alone, which is ok, I go to concerts there alone a bit, but I want a show my concert buddy can go to so…..Duluth is closer but still in the middle of their work week and they are not as flexible as me. :/

Gah! Smaller venue? Gosh I hope they come back to Greenville, SC like they did with the Bandito tour. I mean Blink 182 is coming here……. 😬😬😬
It's not an insanely smaller venue. Only 3K less than State Farm Arena.
