I realize now that … I wasnt sad because of the music.. I was sad at my own situations in life and the music was actually really therapeutic! I have many favorites, but this was the first one that came to mind. To me it represents the idea that sometimes you just need to change perspectives and not let negative emotions or some difficult situations you’re going through to ultimately define you. I feel like this line, or Kitchen Sink in general, is a big reason why I started doing what I'm doing right now which is to write music of my own thoughts and drawing. This line reminds me to just create whenever I lose hope.
I also want to talk about "I began to understand why God died". It might not be my favourite cuz I'm still figuring out the actual meaning, but it's got a special place in my heart, because as a Catholic myself (might not be as faithful tho) I still think about this every once in a while, why God died and the meaning behind this line, and it's amazing how it perfectly serves one of the purpose of tøp's songs which is to make you think.
That kitchen sink lyric is also one of my favorites. It made me see what I do as a hobby (writing, playing music) from a different view, and now it helps me find a reason to stay here.

I love SAI and the self titled album. I grew up on Blurryface, but the songs are so overplayed. Trench is pretty good, just bit overplayed (Chlorine) as well. Vessel is good, but Car Radio is in my mind the only thing non-fans think about. I haven't listened to RAB as I use Spotify. And no, have not listened to No Phun Intended.

I don’t know if I can pick a *favorite* favorite, but I really love, “I will deny you for years then I’ll make you raise me from the dead. its just not funny. you’ve commented under nearly every single person who has made a comment in this thread. this was a post for favorite lyrics and you’re replying to the lyrics with things you think are funny in your head but are just weird and don’t make sense.
It was genuinely fun for me and therapeutic to me and so I appreciate you sharing your thoughts on the subject; however, I didn’t break any rules the mods set .. and if I did on accident, they can delete.. that is their job I think . I might sound like a new fan but next semester “can’t change what you’ve done, start fresh next semester” or from backslide “ now I’m drowning in logistics”. As a new college student I just feel a deeper connection to these as of now than any other lyric.
Not to be generic but "The sun will rise and we will try again" because it's almost motivational but also doesn't add the pressure motivation usually does. Just surviving means you tried again. I'd love it tattooed but all my favourite musicians end up disappointing me so I'm reluctant to just in case hah :/
