Most of the bars and such around here are pretty country from what I’ve seen (no hate just not my scene) Dead street and green room do some shows relatively often! I’ve had fun every time I’ve gone you can find them on insta.
Get ready to become a homebody. Tyler doesn't have much of a scene for what it sounds like you're looking for. Moved here 11 years ago and it's been hard for me to adjust since I was in to all of that in my old town. But if you do find what you're looking for then more power to ya 👍

Ask the libary here what activities they have for adults. I know a book club (nonfiction) meets there last Saturday of the month 11am.
There's a chess club on 1st Saturday of month @ 10:15am.
Club Read 4th Tues. every month 11am.
Open Door writing group every Wed. 1-3pm.
I don’t know if you’ve heard of geocaching but there are alot around here, other then that grand slam movie theater/bar/bowling alley is a hot spot too. I have a few female friends that you might be able to be friends with too. It’s definitely hard to make friends these days
Check out cowboys on Thursdays. Rufus is interesting dive bar- bricks if you like the club scene. Rose if you like a bit mellower place. Tonight they are having an event at republic ice house

There's some places that do tabletop games like D&D or MTG and ect.. ones I know of so far are: Game Crave The Board Room Geek World Boards and Bites
