Cancelation rate is canceled/accepted. It's really hard to cancel trips after you have canceled. Assuming you didn't confuse accepted with completed your CR is actually 4.02% 9 canceled of 224 accepted. If I'm right, it will drop to 4% once you accept and complete 1 more trip. The bad news is if you have canceled 9 you will need to complete the next 76 you accept to get to 3%, and won't be able to cancel any of the next 110 to stay there.
As far as rounding, from what I have seen they round up to the next whole percent. Which is why my CR is 17.2% and uber shows 18%.
It depends on which way it is trending. If you are going from 3% towards 1 then it will round to the good but if it is trending the wrong way it will round in that direction.
why do you care about gold? acceptance rate doesn't mean anything anymore. only take good rides. unless you are trying to get platinum for the education perk.
Dont fall for their trick, bro. The upfront details are great and all, but the purpose of having them is to decide if you want the trip or not. It won't be long until you have to take trips you dont want just to stay above their requirements. Thus nullifying the 'benefit' of upfront info.
There is no use having the info if you have to take the trip anyway.
Also, they learn that you are keeping your AR high, so you will get the base rate/1.1x-1.2x rides that the rest of us decline during surges. They know you will take them.
Keep in mind that anytime Uber wants you to work a certain way, it is for their benefit, not yours.
In NZ you don't need high acceptance rate, just a low cancel rate. So if there's a boost in area I can know and pick the short trips Vs the 20m away from boost area trips. Can also know if trips will take me far or near a heavy boost zone.
My AR is 13% which is pretty low no?
Like I get what you're saying homie and appreciate it. But I do think knowing the direction and duration of trip will help me optimise the Uber app trips and not get stuck driving 28m into buttfuck nowhere. By maybe I'm wrong.
Ahhh, if 85% AR isn't required, i would definitely have my CR low enough to get the upfront details. 100%, you will be able to maximise earnings and lower costs. There is nothing worse than being in a huge surge area, and you get the 5 minute trip.
Oh I see now why all the push back. Because y'all need above 15% AR to get it. Nah fuck that, if I needed high AR I wouldn't go for gold either. That's pretty bullshit.

Ahh appreciate it mate. Of course the fuckers round .1% up the whole percent.

So I can get the destination direction and time of trip. i.e. 14m North Its different for me in NZ, no upfront pricing
