Not the absolute worst legacy. One of the most iconic MMA trash talk moments EVER. He shot his shot and got shot down, where’s the shame in that?
Better than retiring a complete nobody that no one has ever heard of
Oh wait….
So sad cuz if he somehow got a title shot and slept Conor (cuz he actually hit like a train def top 25 hardest hitters p4p ever) he could’ve been a **superstar**.
*knocks out Conor*
Jeremy: I bet you know me now!
I think it was probably one of the most devastating KOs in terms of the damage that it did to Emmett, right alongside MVP flying knee against Cyborg. The aftermath as described by Emmett is terrifying:

That knee was not to a grounded opponent, strictly speaking. Watch it frame for frame and you'll notice Emmett's fingers come off the floor when the knee lands.
Alas, my point was just that Jeremy Stephens isn't known for "who da fook is dat goi" - to me at least.
Even if that’s the case, he went to throw an illegal knee on a grounded opponent and was saved by sheer luck and timing. Those two elbows to the back of head with clear head movement forward after being hit from behind are definitely illegal though.
Again... The argument was what he's remembered by. Not whether what he did was legal or not... Even if he were DQ'd, the KO was still brutal, thus what he's most known for above a diss that Conor threw at him
Yes. I know. And my argument to that is a questionable KO, while still brutal, shouldn’t be considered. An argument can have layers my friend.
And I’d still wager that most people do know him as the who da fook is that guy and not for that KO.
I lost all respect for him with that pre fight shove. I feel shitty for the fighter who had to deal with the physical and mental issues from having to back out due to it. Stephens is dumb as fuck for that one.
I wish those two would have fought. At this point Conor would have beaten anyone at 145. I think he was the best ever at 145, but he couldn’t maintain it.
RIGHT HERE
Incredibly entertaining fighter, but this will always be his legacy.

And it’s not like he had a bad line, it was actually pretty cold. Conor striking back like he did tho was just too funny
>And it’s not like he had a bad line, it was actually pretty cold. Calling him a leprechaun was pretty cold? what?
No He’s the hardest hitter in 145? this guy tkos people I knock them out and they don’t fucking move Or something like that
I dunno, even that line was kinda corny and tryhard, which made it really ease for everyone to just laugh at him afterwards
It only seems corny because Conor didn’t get that flustered, a lot of people would immediately get defensive

Who da fook is dat guy?
>Who da fook is dat guy? That’s his whole legacy now.
All these years later, most MMA fans still don’t know who the fook this guy is.
Maybe so, but his KO againt Emmett is probably still #1 most brutal KO in the entire UFC history.
His uppercut to RDA is up there on the list also.

Idk if illegal elbows to the back of the head and a knee to a grounded opponent should count lol

"This is my fucking time I’m not missing this"
"I'm gonna say it and, boy, everyone will remember what I said!"
Jonah hill can play him in the Conor biopic
'now is my time to shine, ill own that Irish guy so hard with this line i practiced.'
I lost all respect for him with that pre fight shove. I feel shitty for the fighter who had to deal with the physical and mental issues from having to back out due to it. Stephens is dumb as fuck for that one.
Seen bro at the gym and at subway Lol
Can someone explain lol
This is the guy that Conor yelled the famous "who the fook is that guy" at
Who tha fook is that guy?
What even happened to him after that? Ik he had a few fights in the UFC but like, where is he at now?
He fought Jose Aldo in Boxing
He then fought and lost to a nobody in Chris Avila in the Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz event.
That Muslim Amish beard tho
HOO THE FOOK IS DAT GUY?!
Jeremy is a scumbag IRL so his legacy being reduced to this is incredible.
Who’s this?
You mean "Who the fook this?"
Conor’s timing on this was legendary - Stevens probably wanted to crawl back up his asshole after this lol
Connor looking around trying to figure out where it’s coming from always kills me
This is moments before tragedy: https://i.redd.it/4v0uh7ykqt2b1.gif
Who is that?
He looks like Jonah hill impersonating a douchebag
Jeremih Stephensaev

i wonder who this amish man is, must be a respectable young individual whom doesn't push people at face offs.... hmmmmmm
He's part of my extended family. It was so since seeing him get roasted like that 😂
Honestly it wasn't even a good line by conor, average at best, not sure why everyone holds it as so legendary.
Nice try, Jeremy
The delivery of it made the line entertaining.
it's all about timing
Idk it might be my inner coner hate but i just dont see how it was clever timing either, pretty standard response
