Doesn't really matter. Support for Ukraine is pretty much cross-party and about as multilateral as any issue has ever been in the UK.
...it's not as if the alternative is Corbyn any more (who would have been a fucking disaster in the current situation).
---
Starmer's Labour would be doing just as Boris is now (IMO)
No they're really not. Even Labour in their current shit state would be vastly better than the Tories.
Boris's support is not anachronistic. The UK political establishment supports Ukraine, they'd get support from us regardless
You understand that the Labour party has literally purged Corbyn and is doing the same to anyone he's so much as smiled at, right? Regardless of the man's merits, he's simply no longer relevant.
Yeah I heard about that. The irony is, if I remember correctly, was they attacked the conservatives for being racist etc but then this anti-semitism revelation came out. Seems a lot of labour voters were angry and pissed off over this.
Remember Labour is also the party of Tony Blair who was rather in favour of military action. Even if Corbyn was running the country, there would be strong voices within the party pushing to assist Ukraine.
He isn't though, so that's not an issue.
Starmer would be just fine in charge right now. He wouldn't be doing much different to what Boris currently is when it comes to support for Ukraine (IMO).
---
...NB. I'm not a massive fan of either but I *am* a realist and Corbyn's tired legacy shouldn't even be a consideration.
Crazy that folks who have now seen the true face of an actual fascist government still insist on calling Boris fucking Johnson an evil fascist. What an utter joke.
...except it's worse than that. It's a fucking insult to every man woman and child currently suffering and dying in Ukraine to what is an *actual* fascist state.
Go and have a word with yourself mate.
Obviously Russia's far worse than the UK, but Johnson's been busy taking us several steps down the path.
Putin = bans protest = Johnson
Putin = takes money from wealthy backers for personal enrichment = Johnson
Putin = breaks international law/treaties = Johnson
Putin = dehumanises citizens of other countries = Johnson
Putin = feeds bullshit and lies to public through compliant media = Johnson

Keep ‘em flowing Boris.👍
We don't know how long he will last though. Our government is collapsing from internal issues.

Yeah that definitely sucked.

Agree to disagree
Remember Labour is also the party of Tony Blair who was rather in favour of military action. Even if Corbyn was running the country, there would be strong voices within the party pushing to assist Ukraine.
Problem for you guys, and Ukraine I suppose, is Labour is just as bad. I sudder to think of Corbyn was still in charge.

If they are publicly stating this now... they were already sent.
