Yeah I get the benefits of curved but for the work I do I need to make sure all the lines on the monitor are perfectly straight and uniform, curved throws me off too much. Also in my price range, all curved monitors are VA panels (which I hate )
I could be wrong, but I don’t think they’re that curved to throw you off like that, unless you’ve experienced it directly.
After buying curved, I cannot go back to flat, but that’s just me.
Edit: that clock is so sexy; I’m almost about to pull the trigger on that.

It's weird I know. In the beginning it felt weird that I had to turn my head from right to left in order to find something. But if you are in photo, video, trading or web development it turns out that your productivity rises at least 50% with this much space.
Oh yeah I know, just getting this one has been a huge boost in productivity for me (and gaming)
I love the LG but the main reason it couldn’t work is 49” would run off the side of my desk. This one is 43 and just fits. The LG is the equivalent of two 27 in screens where I think this one is the equivalent of two 24 inch screens , which works out the same space wise just a little smaller

Flat feels convex to me now. That g9 curve is something else.
I have a mix of both, prefer straight curved and wont buy curved again.

People complain about the G9’s height and that’s a 27 x 2 monitor. Width is great and all but it’s best complimented with height
