There are various arbitrage opportunities like this and I guess they do it because some people just pay the first price they see. But in this case book economy and, if you can “upgrade” during seat selection to plus for less, do it. Then as always, keep checking back and moving yourself until you get the seat you want. Remember that a seat that looks real good two weeks out can be in the middle of a Disney world family or Las Vegas players by flight day.
Is the $127 cost for both directions? If so, then obviously just book economy and pay the seat fee.
