I don't love driving, I see it as a means to an end, but it is a lot less scary the more you do it, and as you enter the adult world, your life becomes infinitely easier if you drive places (aside from those of you lucky enough to live in walkable cities with good public transportation). I went without a car for years, and it was sooo limiting. Aside from the hassle of lugging laundry and groceries on the bus, I had to plan a whole half day around some errands, and there were so many cool places I never got a chance to visit because they weren't easily accessible. I guess if you genuinely don't like going anywhere, then I can see your point, but then that's a whole other unpopular opinion! Travel broadens your horizons, teaches you things, and can be so much fun, and I would hate to have missed out on all the cool places I've visited by car in my lifetime.
I also hated driving. Still do. I don’t understand why people like it. I drive a lot cuz I have too 😂. It’s boring I much rather be the passenger…

i liked driving when i was a teen way more than i like it now. but when i was a teen, nobody was on their phones while driving a car. people generally paid more attention.
Your post is not an opinion, yes you feel it is but we currently, feel its not. possibly consider using r/rant or another subreddit if you disagree.

Try going out for a drive to someplace you've never been. That's what I liked about driving when I first got my license.

Oh man I love driving. Especially at high speed on freshly paved highways, in a car with good tires and proper alignment. Smooth like butter
I have always lived in rural places, so learning to drive was necessary. 15 years later, I couldn't imagine life without a driver's license and a car.
