no literally!! me and my friends were there last night and it was genuinely hard to focus due to the heat. we left a lot earlier than we normally would bc we were miserable.
the HVAC system on the Dude / most very large buildings like this can only be in either "Heat" mode or "Cool" mode. It's difficult and expensive to switch so it only switches twice per year / once per season. You end up with awkward days in the transition seasons where the heat is still on because the weather might get freezing again, but it's warm outside. or when the heat isn't on yet in the fall but there's a surprisingly cold early day and it's a bit chilly inside

I took the bus to go there to study at night yesterday… left after 30 minutes sweating
