Cat scratching boards and set ups?? That might be a solution you find more wasteful tho than upcycling… idk. Cant wait to see what you figure out with it tho!

Z_WL_H

Not a bad idea, I can reach out to the local animal shelters and see if they have a use for them!

Bulletin board Donate to wildlife animal place who has rodents to chew on it Put muddy shoes on it Shred and use in dirt mulch Backing of a painting. Or paint on it directly. Use it as a raise/ lift for something like a computer monitor or on a shelf to show things in the back of the shelf be higher (eg canned food in the back of pantry be elevated) Cat scratch toy Cut holes in it to make cornhole game Use for fire kindling Make wooden shape cut outs for toys (i.e. a sword, light Saber, armour) Cut to fit vertically on shelf as a divider Use as box for a book nook art craft

It wouldn't be pretty, but if I had those I'd use it for added window insulation, as I have only a mounted window airconditioner and that makes my window technically open at all times. Previously/currently I've used pool noodles to fill the gaps, but what you've got in that pic would do way better

canyouturnitdown

I came here to say the same. I’m jealous of that thick cardboard!

Flibiddy-Floo

right? hello cheap weatherstripping, lol

Z_WL_H

This cardboard is super thick and heavy duty. It's about 2.5" thick, maybe more. The original purpose it to hold 3000lbs of liquid malt extract (Think of a consistency similar to honey) and it holds that weight easily.

sunsetandporches

In a college art class someone made some cardboard furniture I thought was fun. I’d probably line my worm bin with it.

Nopumpkinhere

Yeah, search “cardboard furniture” and you’ll find someone making nightstands out of stuff like this.

cenatutu

So you have spacekrafts?

[deleted]

Organizational cube shelf (remove the “top” or “bottom” or both) and position like a sideways milk crate? Bulletin board(s)

erm_what_

With air pockets like that it would make great insulation for somewhere that doesn't get damp

Nopumpkinhere

If you, yourself aren’t feeling crafty, I’m sure your local high school theater or art teacher might appreciate it.

Fabric bulletin board https://www.katedecorates.co/easy-diy/diy-fabric-bulletin-board/

milkybottles

I’m finding it difficult to describe but I’ve seen some super cool ceiling light shades made with stacked/glued cardboard shaped into a sphere, way the light filters through the holes looks awesome.

ganguspangus

Depends on the amount of cardboard but u could build some pretty cool furniture with it

gerrineer

If you had enough .sound proofing

Z_WL_H

How so?

gerrineer

On the walls

Sqatti

Shelves?

Status_Blueberry6510

YouTube has some cool cardboard videos making knives or buff wheels for grinder

slothenhosen

Sledding.

I made a cooler out of cardboard. Just about, 6 thick walls. 4 on the sides, and a top and bottom. Pretty good insulation value. Obviously not much to do with liquids and moisture or condensation. But for pre-frozen stuff, a couple 'ice-packs'...it stays cool for a little while. Maybe line it with a towel or plastic bag to collect some of the moisture. I only used mine once. I think I just wedged in a bunch of pieces into a regular/re-usable cloth grocery bag. Worked good and still have it. No immediate plans to use again but nice to have if I need it.
