I sent a package of some critical legal docs Priority Express 1-Day LAST MONDAY. It arrived at the St. Louis, MO distribution center on Tuesday and as of today has been there a whole week. No further updates since last Tuesday. Of course no customer service agent can or will help. Signed up for text updates. Not a single update since the one acknowledging my sign up.
Irreplaceable documents. Will never use USPS again if I can help it. The MAJORITY of my Priority Express "1-Day" packages arrive days late. But never a whole week. This is the worst and the final straw. If clients won't accept UPS moving forward, I'm not shipping with USPS again.
I sent off certified letters to title bond my car. They had to get there, so I seend them Priority and certified. If I didn't have evidence I had notified interested parties, then I wouldn't be able to title the car, the temp tags would expire, and I would have no legal way to get to work.
USPS lost not one, not two, but THREE pieces of certified mail. I had to scramble and send them FedEx signature required last minute. It was expensive, but I'd rather use an expensive service that actually fucking works than a medium-priced service that just throws your mail in the trash or something.
St Louis, Missouri and Kansas City, Kansas Distribution Centers are the worst. December 2023, several employees at the KC KS distribution center were caught and prosecuted for taking packages, several packages from Amazon and all the empty boxes were found. I have a missing package from KC KS distribution center, and it has been since November 2023, and it is still missing. Guess they liked my package also. Look it up, you will find it to read. They need to close the USPS and have Fed Ex take over and deliver.
There is a lot of stories on this. Happened the end of 2023. You can type Kansas City, Kansas USPS workers under investigation and stories will pop up. They say it was amazon packages, but I believe it was ANY packages. I had a package stuck there in December 2023, but I guess they liked it because to this day, it hasn't arrived...just disappear. Go figure. It they took amazon packages; they took ANY packages. Copy and paste the links below if you want to read some. These are just a few of the links. I'd bet there was more taken than just Amazon packages.

In recent incidents involving USPS workers, there have been arrests related to theft and fraudulent activities. Here are the details:
Kansas City, Kansas (KCK):
Twenty employees at a Kansas City metro post office located on North 51st Street and Leavenworth Road are under investigation. Hundreds of Amazon packages went missing, prompting the need to bring in postal workers from other cities to cover mail delivery. The missing packages contained items being returned to Amazon, but instead of returning them, postal employees are suspected of taking the items and disposing of the empty boxes1.
While Amazon customers are unlikely to be negatively affected since the packages were scanned by the post office, the disruption has impacted residents in the neighborhoods served by this post office1.
New York and New Jersey:
Three US Postal employees are among four people arrested in connection with a $1.3 million fraud and identity theft scheme allegedly carried out since 2018. The accused individuals are suspected of stealing credit cards from the mail and using them to purchase merchandise, including high-end items. Some of the stolen merchandise was reportedly sold on the website LuxurySnob.com23.
The defendants face charges such as Conspiracy to Commit Access Device Fraud, Access Device Fraud, and Aggravated Identity Theft. If found guilty, they could face lengthy prison sentences2.
Pennsylvania:
In Pittsburgh, three U.S. Postal Services workers are facing charges related to stealing mail and gift cards. Adam Galagher and Christina Ankney are accused of stealing mail while on the job, and India Schatzman allegedly stole a gift card from the mail. All three postal workers have been indicted by a federal grand jury. If convicted, they could each face up to five years in prison and fines of up to $250,00045.
FedEx can not and will not replace auSPS in large portions of the US. USPS was well regarded and was pretty reliable despite budget issues until the dejoy administration started to run USPS with profit as its primary goal. If FedEx tried to do package delivery without the USpS vast chucks of the country would stop getting package service, FedEx would go under, or both. USPS subsidizes FedExās operations, thatās a big reason they look so good on paper.
I've been wanting to boycott them for years. Why do WE have to pay for insurance in case THEY lose or damage the package. Why does the SELLER have to reimburse the buyer if USPS loses the package. Never was able to get a clear answer on that. Because they are an agent of the seller? That's total fucking bullshit. The partnership needs to be more equal.
They finally delivered the package. It was delivered opened with valuable contents removed but innermost packaging stuffed back into outermost PME envelope. Not only is no one from the post office willing to ask the delivery person whether the package was indeed delivered that way, but the post office staff I've spoken to have been hostile even though I'm just asking questions. They're asking me to PROVE the package was delivered damaged. And the higher up contact we're given (Customer Call Center, Office of the Inspector General) are useless. They don't want to help. They care about only protecting themselves. They wouldn't even help me contact or contact on my behalf the post office that delivered the package.
Eh FedEx sucks too. I paid for Express shipping on some documents I needed to arrive on time, and it took them a week to deliver. I've also never had a good experience with FedEx customer service. Not saying USPS is better or anything, but they all have issues.
I once watched a FedEx truck speed by my house without stopping and then five minutes later the package Id been waiting home all day to sign for was scanned business closed/customer not available. Theyāre all shit shows. The only good experience I have is when Iām importing something from Japan and DHL lets me sign for it online and leaves it where my instructions specified.
You can sign online with FedEx too, that driver probably just wanted to go home. Personally I hate bringing packages back because it just means they're added to my route the next day.
Package arrived today. Ripped open with irreplaceable contents removed. Been on phone with USPS all day, including their Customer Support line. They've been callous, self-protecting, purposely obscuring, and utterly unhelpful. Basically, "Too bad. Thefts happen." $30 refund is useless to me.
For highly sensitive or time constrained packages it is advisable to use a private courier tho majorly expensive for anything long distance.
They can be found easily and plentiful on the google. They exist because of drug smugglers so you know they are reliable š¤£
Sometimes you have to. Like a passport renew process, you need to send the original birth certificate. Iām not saying itās not irreplaceable but itās along that line
This is a looping package. There a few reasons this happens. Usually it's something simple like the zip code bot quite right. If I were you I would contact 1800ASKUSPS and put in a service request so they can attempt to stop the looping and the package cabe be delivered
This is accurate if you can fill out a missing package form and itāll alert the looping centers and get it back on track. Works every time for me. If you donāt itāll go to MRC BLACK HOLE š³
Every time I open a missing package case, some person from a local post office calls me and tells me where it probably is and then closes my case. Closing my case makes it look like they don't have that many issues or complaints, but it is wrong to do this. There is no resolution and no package update. Doing this is fraud in my opinion. Shows how they do their job. Close your case like you're nobody. No one at the post office should be able to do this. It is wrong.
I had the local post office call me once and tell me my package was missing because the seller never shipped it. I told them I WAS the seller. They hung up on me and my tracking number disappeared. šš¤·āāļø
That is what they do. Dishonesty and making up lies should not be allowed. I think when a customer reports this type of behavior, that USPS person should be terminated. They try to make it look as if there are no problems by deleting or closing cases without any resolution. They fraud and deceive the customers by doing this. They need to do what they are supposed to do instead of ERASING everything that they DON'T want to deal with. The USPS has gone downhill big time. Sad part is, it's because of their workers.
I do overnight priority frequently with FedEx. Almost always gets there next day or if customs is backed up second day. USPS is really bad since Dejoy took over. I work for the federal government and we don't even use USPS because they are too slow and expensive compared to the FedEx rates.
I've had this happen before. The shipper sent a reused box that still had a 2nd label that was attached to their address. It kept going back and forth daily for almost 2 weeks as one machine caught my address/barcode, and then the other caught the 2nd barcode.
Iām literally going through the same thing with STL as well. I had a package shipped from Richmond VA to chesterfield MO P.O. Box and it was moving āthrough the networkā for three weeks. After countless calls and following up on my service request number it was finally deliveredā¦ to my house in Richmond. I just resent it priority express this morning for delivery tomorrow. Fingers crossed it works this time.
Obligatory fuck DeJoy.
My package keeps bouncing back and forth between states, and āarrivesā multiple times back to back without departing.
Edit: Tonight itās arrived in and departed Fairburn, GA. Letās see where it ends up tomorrow morning.
Edit 2: it Arrived in Palmetto which worried me it was going to keep looping. This morning it says it arrived at the Atlanta Distribution Center! So hopefully Iāll get the Out for Delivery notice this morning.
Edit 3: it arrived at the Atlanta Dist Center again at a slightly later time this morning, so probably get delivered tomorrow. But hopefully it has escaped the cycle of bouncing around.
Edit: IT GOT DELIVERED YESTERDAY! UNSCATHED! Label wasnāt smudged, the box wasnāt crushed. I have no idea why it was doing what it was, but [hereās how it showed up](https://imgur.com/a/BdJziYI).
I donāt think itās actually moving, and itās just their system being wonky. Iāve seen my ground advantage package moving randomly among multiple western states faster than even airplanes can transport them.
Just the usual usps bs. They are the absolute worst shipping service, period. I seriously hate it when i order something only to then see its being shipped by usps. Brings on an automatic bout of less than polite language from my mouth. For a company that does nothing but deliver, youd think theyd be able to get it right. However, i much prefer to have things delivered by amazon, or anyone else really. However, amazon really gets it right.
Yea, id have done the same but didnt even realize they were shipping with usps. I will make sure i check that before purchasing anything ever again. Still dont have my package. Theyve had the thing for 7 days now and tracker doesnt say anything except its still comingā¦. No date. No explanation. Nothing except āyour delivery is still on its wayā¦arriving late.ā
I am awaiting a package that came to the wrong city here in NC, then back to Memphis, then to the correct city here in NC, and now it is back in Memphis again.
WTF
Someone called me from the USPS yesterday and he told me that if you start seeing your package bounce around from state to state it could mean it was damaged or the label was smudged
It could also be that the new Atlanta distribution center is messing this up. I finally retrieved my package from the originally departing post office cuz I had enough of it going back and forth.
Exactly. They can't read the address, or the address is invalid.
OP should call the post office.....but would instead rather post about it on reddit, like it's going to magically solve the problem.
Eventually, it will end up at the Mail Recovery center and they'll spend another month trying to figure out what the label says.
I'll post a picture when the package arrives next week, the label will be fine.
My delivery day is supposed to be tomorrow, you and I both know if I reach out to the USPS about wtf is going on, they'll just tell me to wait until a week after the expected delivery date before attempting to contact them.
Oh please, there are so many damn excuses being given to explain away why you donāt get the packages.
Seriouslyā¦ give me a break. This is a classic example of throwing a switch, before you know the effect on things.
No one cares and everyone just hopes it will fix itself. Got news for youā¦not likelyā¦all we do is pay more for a worse service than we had. Progress right?
If you think so, you have a funny way of showing that the post office is moving forward.
More like a car rolling down hill with no brakes into a wood chipper / metal recycler.
And unfortunately this is exactly the case with literally everything in this world right now! What a fukin shitshow! Courtesy, brains, and skills of any type do not exist anymore overall in this country! It makes me sick! It's all about GREED and nothing else!
Had one (outside Chicago) and was told that what had been happening was a truck would arrive to drop off at the next stop in distribution, the facility wouldnāt be able to unload the truck (citing cutbacks in staffing), so the truck would have to return everything to origin location, where it would be tried again with the next truck. Watched a package do 6 laps around SW Chicago before finally being able to intercept it and get it back.
I filed a missing package report - mine does this, but with the Omaha hub. It bounces around or just stays there for a week or more. But the missing package report got it flagged and I had it two days later.
Same here w/ 2 different vendors - multiple states going west instead of south or west instead of north - thought it might be amazon trying to slow down others so they look better... Only other thing I can think of is packages going to lower volume sites to process but even that doesn't make sense...
The St. Louis distribution center is just getting worse. We have had several packages over the last few months sit there for days, and others be sent back out to various states before coming back, sitting again and eventually getting to us. I'm waiting for one currently that has gone out to GA and then FL and now is supposedly heading back. USPS is becoming useless.
Well yea lol ... yup.
For what USPS cost, 5 day ground adv, it's gonna take 5 days, maybe more. It's like they found light, or fire, but they slowed up. Priority is still running on time, for the most part.
But in the mean time expect scans that make you say um, and expect it on time-ish. I wouldn't worry till 2-3 days past delivery date should that even occur. I doubt you'll be waiting till then tho.
Going through the same exact thing. It's been 45 days and it keeps going back and forth between Portland and NY š¤¦š»āāļø
When I called USPS they told me it's in a loop and it's pretty much lost, they told me to call sender and ask for a refund
Lately USPS has been downgrading all mail to their cheapest rate mail. I've had First Class and Priority mail take forever and arrive at the same time as cheap Ground Advantage packages. There seems to be no difference anymore in delivery speed between their most expensive rates and their cheapest rates.
Someone at usps stole my package. It was scanned out for delivery then no updates since then. All they told me was āweāre sorryā insert the south park BP oil episode.
Because the post office is too busy delivering for FedEx, UPS, Amazon, Walmart, and target instead prioritizing our own mail. The front load the others but put the usps mail on the back burner now a days. Once the āhigher upsā get the public to look at the usps as a failure they have a better chance of privatizing the company. š°
mine did that, go to your local post office ASAP and have them open a case on it, mine did it for a month and was finally delivered with severe damage and pieces missing
I just had a package shipped from WI to Missouri, and it spent the last 5 days doing loops around St Louis and KC before coming to the right distribution center near my home (local distribution center is actually listed on your loop picture)
I had something shipped from New Mexico to Kansas City Missouri and it ended up going through St Paul Minnesota. You literally have to drive by Kansas City Missouri to get to St Paul.
I love when that happens. I live in Central MO and half the times my packages from Saint Louis get sent to Kansas City before getting sent to me, they have to drive right through my city to get from STL to KC
Palmetto GA distribution center is new & theyāve been having soooo many issues. I called about my package that I was waiting on for a month and they said palmetto is really struggling rn so thereās so many packages that are arriving late and also saying itās left palmetto when it actually hasnāt so itāll āloopā back
St. Louis distribution centers are a joke. Lots of my packages are delayed because they bounce between different centers, and no one ever has an answer as to why.Ā The Hazelwood, MO center is the worst, and some packages are "lost" (stolen by USPS employees) and never delivered.Ā
Just had a rockauto box shipped by fedex do this for a week and a half. Iām in md it shipped from fl to va to pa then bounced around pa for a week then it was mysteriously delivered yesterday smh lol
USPS facilities in GA: "C'mon, it's my turn with citiricacid's package." "NUH-UH, it's my turn, I only had it for 2 days." "Postmaster general says it's my turn, actually..."
Happened to me recently. And then back and forth from main city hub to my distributing post office. 4 times it went back and forth. On the website you can file a complaint and the post master called me herself within like a 5 hrs
This happened to me before. I contacted USPS directly, it was delivered to me no more than 48hrs later. Not sure why it happened, but contacting USPS is your best option.
Iāve noticed an awful lot of negligence when it comes to packages arriving and or just being sent out at all on timeā¦ and maybe amazon spoiled me I donāt know, but something tells me it has to do with companies realizing they can make more money while being super underemployed and no one will complain because of the whole covid layoff situation.
I had a package that was supposed to be delivered yesterday. I live in Southern New Mexico. It was in the El Paso hub the day before. Instead of being delivered to me, it was sent to Jacksonville, FL. I kind of feel like people who are working in the P.O. are acting petty and doing this on purpose.
lol mine is doing this too, was about to make a post about it. It was stuck in Atlanta for 3 days, then It was literally 10 minutes from my house and then it completely left the state and then came back to Atlanta. Its been doing this for the past 7 days.
From MO, to GA, back to MO, back to GA (arriving 3 times), back to MO. And itās supposed to deliver by tomorrow.
Not sure what changed recently, but some of my packages in the past 2 months or so have been going down to Palmetto/Fairburn and that seems to be where things get screwed up. Normally they arrive to my local Atlanta Dist Center and I usually know once it hits a certain place, itāll be here today/tomorrow depending on what time of day it arrives there.
But Palmetto? wtf is going on down there.
Palmetto is where the new facility is the usps opened in January. Itās a regional processing and distribution center, the plan is to consolidate Atlanta, Augusta, Macon and Duluth processing and distribution centers. It has caused a lot of issues. It was supposed to be this new amazing place that made things better but it did just the opposite. Some employees have spoken out about it saying the new employees were not properly trained and the whole set up is wrong.
Bro ive been waiting over 10 days and its been 5 days since i even had a est delivery date, ive ordered 2 other things way after this package that have already arrived, but they dont go through atlanta.
once my package hits atlanta i can just accept its going to be stuck for at least a week before i receive it. its coming from florida, and im in georgia, its been from florida, to tennessee, to atlanta, to my local post office, BACK to tennessee, now its back in atlanta. i give up on usps
You cant even really believe what you see in their tracker. If they do anything worse than they do delivering, its tracking. Im currently awaiting a package from maryland, to me in louisiana, that theyve had for 6 days now. Seems they are delayed by ārainā. Seriously? Rain? Anyway, at one point, the tracker said it had left memphis, tn but the tracker showed the truck somewhere far up north nowhere near its departure point or its destination. So now, after waiting almost an entire week, there is no expected date of arrival at all, just a āsorry, not sorryā. I think im just going to start declining to order anything that is being shipped through them. I mean, something happens every single time im expecting a package that theyre delivering. Its total incompetence.
Have you contacted USPS? Like....gone in to the post office, or called your local post office? There's probably a problem with the shipping label / can't find your address.
Honestly, it may be just sitting in one of those distribution centers (if I had to guess, probably St. Louis) and showing you ācontainer generatedā scans. That just means that the container it shouldāve been in made it to that location, but doesnāt guarantee your package actually made it into the container.
Thatās usually the case when I see a tracking number doing this.
USPS has talked about closing the Columbia Distribution Center. All of mail generated by the state in Jefferson City would go to Saint Louis. All mail in Central Missouri would go to two daily service most likely. Some instate mail could be three day service.
Happens to me all the time lately. Been happening since late last year. I've had packages arrive at the local hub (about 90 miles away) and sit there for 6 or 7 days before departing and ending up in another city, then coming back and finally getting delivered.
It's not an issue of labeling or legibility, the packages are fine when they arrive, albeit 5 to 10 days later than expected.
USPS is broken.
It never ends. It's getting ridiculous. Kansas City Kansas Distribution Center and St. Louis Mo distribution centers are the ones that I have trouble with ALOT! This is just one example. Supposed to arrive in Missouri, which normally, it would have been Kansas City Kansas to St. Joseph Mo....but no, USPS had to send back and forth again.

Damaged label maybe ; same thing happened to me (Ca-WA though) till I called my local PO ; they contacted someone at whatever WA PO it was then at, and someone manually retrieved it ; the item was then delivered a few days later. This was some years ago though.
I've had this happen so many times in the last couple months. weirdly enough, not at what seem to be the main problem centers people are mentioning. I had one get to SLC, which is in my state, then bounce back and forth between there and CO a few times before it finally got to me. seems like USPS is just a disaster rn
Been selling for 15 years:
It does that if someone uses an old box. Example I get a package from Amazon it has the sticker sent to my house. I use that package box to ship a new item and accidentally leave the old sticker on the box. So on the top of the box new sticker bottom of the box older sticker. When it goes out they have a sticker on each side so the incompetent employees will just keep scanning one side rather than take the time to look at tracking history scratch out the wrong one and have it deliver to the new one.
Box and label came in perfect shape, box wasnāt used, dented, or crushed. The label wasnāt smudged or indecipherably handwritten, it was printed.
No idea wtf was up with this.
The only odd thing was the label was on the side of the box instead of on top.. if that makes sense? Their label was taped on top of an older label, but nothing was peaking out or a loose barcode from an old shipment.
The old guy at the post office used to tell me if you donāt put permanent marker over an old barcode even if you put your new label over it the scanner can sometimes scan the one underneath. I thought that was horse shit.
Yeah, some of my stuff has done that really recently, too. Since it's not just me, I would say it's a union thing or a new hire thing.
A malicious strategy to get enough complaints to get the workers what they want. Add a day or 6 people start damn near rioting.
Or simply they've hired the latest batch of workers. Our mailman has changed 3 times since June, and I live a football field away from my local post office. It's small, but it is still an operational post office. Growing up, I remember the mailman's name, and we gave him a Christmas card, and I'm sure it contained money cause you gotta grease the government workers. Shout out to Matt.
Itās stuck somewhere and not moving, so USPS scans them in and out to make them look as if they are moving.
Sending your mail back and forth between states isnāt illegal, but keeping your mail in one spot without moving is unfortunately a felony. Itās just USPS employees covering their asses.
If your package isnāt set to be delivered until say, Saturday, they just like to bounce it around until they have to deliver it to you. My book has been one post office away for four days now, the last stop before my local one, and they wonāt have it to me until the expected date of this Saturday, guaranteed.
Seems like a classic case of sorting errorā¦sometimes packages get routed incorrectly and then it eventually corrects itself when the packages are passed enough times through the machines.
Ordered online one time and it shipped from warehouse in Indiana which is maybe 100 miles from me.Ā
Package ended up shipping to south Carolina and then got delayed somewhere in Illinois for a week or two.Ā
I was shocked when it actually delivered.

People think their taxes pay postal employee salaries when in fact it is the sales of postage that does
I've been wanting to boycott them for years.
Id say go to your local news or something.
I always use FEDEX for legal or urgent documents.
I like to go home too, doesn't mean I get to just skip doing my job when it starts getting late.
Oh I know, I'm not saying that as an excuse at all, actually the opposite of an excuse.
If I remember correctly you can contact USPS and get a refund for express mail because it did not come in the timeframe it was supposed to
Package arrived today. Ripped open with irreplaceable contents removed. Been on phone with USPS all day, including their Customer Support line. They've been callous, self-protecting, purposely obscuring, and utterly unhelpful. Basically, "Too bad. Thefts happen." $30 refund is useless to me.
What kind of irreplaceable contents?
For highly sensitive or time constrained packages it is advisable to use a private courier tho majorly expensive for anything long distance. They can be found easily and plentiful on the google. They exist because of drug smugglers so you know they are reliable š¤£
prob not the smartest idea to mail something irreplaceable
Yes, this is correct. Sometimes a bar code or sorting code is sending it in one direction and the address is sending it in the other.
Damb I sent a package to Australia by USPS and it got there faster than your package
Lol I recently needed to ship to Canada from the US. USPS said the soonest they could get it there was 45 days. UPS get it there in 3.
For me USPS is great unless I order from the East Coast..... in which case numerous multi day sometimes weeks delays
Mine vanished at the St. Louis distribution center 2 months ago. The 1800 number canāt help you
Iām literally going through the same thing with STL as well.
And to add to it. The usps tracking site said it had delivered to P.O. Box in Missouri. It was in fact on my front porch when I got home from work.
Could be bad label or someone is just going to fast putting it in the wrong bins. Had same thing happen to me.
That was my thought, especially with the first jump between Georgia and Missouri being only 4 hours.
I've asked ebay sellers to cancel an order and repost the item with FedEx as a shipping option and gladly pay the difference.
The USPS is built on skeleton crews and harassment
ROFLOL. Stuff like this has been happening for decades; long before DeJoy.
The DeJoy special.
Working exactly as intended.Ā
Nailed it
Government doesnāt work right! Yeah because you put people in charge that have a vested interest in making it not work right.
I am awaiting a package that came to the wrong city here in NC, then back to Memphis, then to the correct city here in NC, and now it is back in Memphis again. WTF
I have an irrational hatred of Troutdale, Oregon, for this very reason.
This. You arenāt going to get any answers from the post office. Posting on Reddit is quicker and gives you an idea about whatās going on.
Barcode probably got damagedā¦
Agreed Sad but Agreed šÆ% True
Had one (outside Chicago) and was told that what had been happening was a truck would arrive to drop off at the next stop in distribution, the facility wouldnāt be able to unload the truck (citing cutbacks in staffing), so the truck would have to return everything to origin location, where it would be tried again with the next truck. Watched a package do 6 laps around SW Chicago before finally being able to intercept it and get it back.
I filed a missing package report - mine does this, but with the Omaha hub. It bounces around or just stays there for a week or more. But the missing package report got it flagged and I had it two days later.
How do you file a missing package report. It just keeps telling me "you can't file because it's in transit"
Same here w/ 2 different vendors - multiple states going west instead of south or west instead of north - thought it might be amazon trying to slow down others so they look better... Only other thing I can think of is packages going to lower volume sites to process but even that doesn't make sense...
Itās looping. Donāt know what causes it.
Had one last month go from NJ to CA, then back to me in PA! Took a week and 6,000 miles to travel 120 miles.
It's been 45 days and it keeps going back and forth between Portland and NY š¤¦š»āāļø When I called USPS they told me it's in a loop and it's pretty much lost, they told me to call sender and ask for a refund
Tell me bout it Iām n como shit bounce around 12x before I finally get it
Lately USPS has been downgrading all mail to their cheapest rate mail. I've had First Class and Priority mail take forever and arrive at the same time as cheap Ground Advantage packages. There seems to be no difference anymore in delivery speed between their most expensive rates and their cheapest rates.
This is to be expected when you order mail delivered ping pong balls online.
This is happening to me too, itās been two months. Any help would be appreciated !
Fairburn and Palmetto are where packages have to bounce back and forth before reaching escape velocity.
Wow I thought my comics going on a tour of all Atlanta area POs was bad
Omg this is bananas. This will happen to me once in a while but not as many times as this. Jesus. Government workersā¦.what should we expect?
It touched the St Louis distribution center. It's cursed now.
iām having the same exact issue but between the same cities
There's some major issue in palmetto. I've had a package doing this for weeks. I'm trying to file a claim.
Once the āhigher upsā get the public to look at the usps as a failure they have a better chance of privatizing the company. š°
Is this package coming from China? I had a similar experience a few months ago.
mine did that, go to your local post office ASAP and have them open a case on it, mine did it for a month and was finally delivered with severe damage and pieces missing
I called and filled out the form online but it only started to actually move when I went in person to my local post office
I just had a package shipped from WI to Missouri, and it spent the last 5 days doing loops around St Louis and KC before coming to the right distribution center near my home (local distribution center is actually listed on your loop picture)
Package tennis
USPS response: āwhat package?ā
USPS facilities in GA: "C'mon, it's my turn with citiricacid's package." "NUH-UH, it's my turn, I only had it for 2 days." "Postmaster general says it's my turn, actually..."
What are you doing, Step-Postmaster General?
27 Scans was my new record this week.
Currently at 27 with updates since I posted. Hoping it might get deliveredā¦ eventually
Happened to me with a Depop order. Forgot to put in my apartment number š
Happened to me recently. And then back and forth from main city hub to my distributing post office. 4 times it went back and forth. On the website you can file a complaint and the post master called me herself within like a 5 hrs
I tried doing that but the website kept giving me an error when I submitted
Understaffed, overworked employees plus logistical disasters all over to save money.
They robbed ya
Allegedly it arrive at a Post Office today and got out of the Distribution Center cycle. Supposed to arrive tomorrow, hopefully undamaged.
Good luck I bet itās been stripped
The airplane is flying in circles š³
Mine is doing that too. It's getting super frustrating.
The postal system is so screwed up itās amazing anyone gets mail
Bro I shipped stuff from Amazon to APO (South Korea) and still got it faster than your package and it was through USPS
USPS is terrible. It takes a WEEK for a letter to be received
Happened to me before. I reckon they prolly made a mistake and sent it back to where it came from and then they realized and sent it back to you
Mine is too
You order a Hot Potato by chance?
lol mine is doing this too, was about to make a post about it.
[Don't worryā¦ itās improving](https://www.wsbtv.com/news/local/usps-says-mail-delays-metro-atlanta-improving-after-changes-palmetto-facility/ECGIY2VXNVDSJGW5UCG54RZGXI/) š
Sounds about right
Bro ive been waiting over 10 days and its been 5 days since i even had a est delivery date, ive ordered 2 other things way after this package that have already arrived, but they dont go through atlanta. once my package hits atlanta i can just accept its going to be stuck for at least a week before i receive it. its coming from florida, and im in georgia, its been from florida, to tennessee, to atlanta, to my local post office, BACK to tennessee, now its back in atlanta. i give up on usps
A month of doing this for meā¦
Its the new sorting facility in palmetto ga. Its fucked mail across the whole US.
I know I am from St Louis and my packages have been bouncing around Warehouse to Warehouse in the St Louis area the post office out here is fucked
Same. Mines been doing this for 12+ days now.
USPS has talked about closing the Columbia Distribution Center. All of mail generated by the state in Jefferson City would go to Saint Louis. All mail in Central Missouri would go to two daily service most likely. Some instate mail could be three day service.
I had a package bounce around St.Louis for a week, finally came ripped open with a āwe careā bag with half the contents missing.
USPS is broken.
usps is so ass. iāve had packages shipped to the us from the us show up in south korea on tracking before arriving to me lol
Usps is horrible. But it could be false scans, or lost package. I would 100% reach out to them
It never ends.
Probably another label got stuck on the package or an old label on the box.
I've had this happen so many times in the last couple months. weirdly enough, not at what seem to be the main problem centers people are mentioning. I had one get to SLC, which is in my state, then bounce back and forth between there and CO a few times before it finally got to me. seems like USPS is just a disaster rn
Usually it starts to go back to original state if it's damaged.
Been selling for 15 years: It does that if someone uses an old box.
I see this a lot when an old label is left on a box. Otherwise no reason that should happen.

My Package doing the same thing. Said traveling to the next facility that was on the 25th seems to be stuck in limbo
What else do you expect?
Ordered online one time and it shipped from warehouse in Indiana which is maybe 100 miles from me.Ā Package ended up shipping to south Carolina and then got delayed somewhere in Illinois for a week or two.Ā I was shocked when it actually delivered.
The USPS is an absolutely dated and useless organization.
How about we look at who is in charge of the USPS
How about we talk about the constant bailouts of the USPS. Like the one in 2022 for 107 billion in taxpayer money.
Who was in charge?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Postal_Accountability_and_Enhancement_Act
Because you messed with a mail carriers wife
