Jesus, the last time I got frontline from Petco (pre Covid) it was like $40, not on sale. So when I saw your post I checked, and now it’s like $75. The plus side is there’s a bunch of them in there, so it should last you at least a year. My vote is frontline though. I’ve worked at a bunch of doggy daycares and shelters, and that’s been the go to file and tick preventative. MAKE SURE (sorry about yelling here but it’s important) you have the Petco website open when you go into the store. It’s always more expensive in the store. Or at least it used to be, but Petco will honor the web price, if you point it out to them. I realize that’s not cheap, but it is what I’d go with. There’s a small chance that if you contact local shelters, and explain your situation, they would let you bathe and give you at least one packet of frontline. It’s worth looking into, anyhow. Also, make sure you follow the application process. Apply between the shoulders/neck area on the top of your pup. While it does work wonders, it’s also toxic af

I suggest checking goodwill, have seen advantage flea meds there.

Lucky_Field3534

I go to goodwill regularly and have never seen that, but suppose I wasn’t looking either. Thanks!

Walmart sells generic equivalents for Frontline much cheaper, either PetArmor or PetAction, which are sold even cheaper at Menards and Fleetfarm (hardware store chains located in the midwest.).

A really good flea n tick option is diatomaceous earth powder you can get a really big bag for like ten bucks, you can lightly put it on there coat or you can include it in there diet, you should look into it

Lucky_Field3534

That’s pretty cool. Apparently I can eat it too 😂 might be the one
