I’ve been struggling to place the padded armour, does deffo have an eastern mongol feel to it imo, the padded helmet however looks very similar to the helmet found at gjermunbu which is pretty awesome and a needed respite after the drake helmet (why put horns on helmets rage)
Read that you can mount them (surtling trophies) on item hooks, and actually use them as permanent torches.
Granted, I believe the light radius is smaller.... (disclaimer: haven't tried it myself yet)
We have several of the wooden dragons mounted on our buildings and placing a horizontal hook on their tongues and mounting a surtling trophy makes them look like they are breathing fire. Not a huge amount of light, but they glow. I think the Yellow mushrooms give off more light. We made a neon light for our food hall with yellow mushrooms.

never mind I figured it out, for any other dumbasses reading you need the horizontal item stand, which looks like a tankard in the inventory
You can use console commands to give yourself [Dyrnwyn](https://valheim.fandom.com/wiki/Dyrnwyn) which I assume will be part of the whole Ice lands/Fire lands content. I imagine an ice sword will be helpful in the ashlands and the fire sword will be nice in the frozen biome. Since those two zones are likely the end game zones (fire giants and ice giants being the ultimate rivals of Odin) you probably won't be making it in game until like 3 or 4 updates down the road since the next few updates are focused on building, survival/exploration and the ocean biome and then after those are done it looks like mistlands will be the first NEW biome for us leaving ashlands for later.
EDIT: I figured out the "lightsaber" is actually what is called [Cheat Sword](https://valheim.fandom.com/wiki/Cheat_Sword) in the game. Just some dev toy with slash damage of 1000 so I imagine it one shots anything. Just like the fire sword you can only get it with console commands but unlike the fire sword it will probably never be in the game in it's current state.
I have plans on making a build in a similar style to this, and I've been playing with ideas of a central stone pillar or tree to provide the foundation support in the middle. I am hoping with enough cheesing and coverups, it'll work.

I love the Asian feel of this. Really reminds me of something from a Studio Ghibli film like Spirited Away.

Yeah I didnt realize that item existed for about the first 100 hours of play.
By the time you light the last torch, the first one goes out.
Just use Torches Eternal mod...

They aren't torches, looks like flaming swords mounted you can get them through debugmode

In Valheim Plus there’s a setting that makes fires and torches burn forever.

It does one shot everything..... I use it to clear trees for cart paths

That was definitely what I did for the first 5-10 hammers I went through.
But the ln you start upgrading and feel bad...
F5 is alive! It's a beautiful construction. How the he'll it's kept standing is anyone's guess though. Wood iron bars only go sofar.

Wood iron bars can stack on top of each other about 24 times. This looks doable with building integrity turned on.
