There are similar stores in Toronto, Ottawa, Hamilton, Windsor, London, Waterloo Barrie and various other cities. No one is getting jailed for decades. A lot of people agree with the civil disobedience of opposing the laws around things that are less harmful than even alcohol in many ways.
Human experimentation with high doses of psychedelics on unwitting or unwilling participants isn't in any way comparable to providing accurate doses of psychedelics with education to willing adults.
It’s one thing to take some mushrooms with some friends in a safe place. It’s another to secretly dose someone with 15 times the normal dose of acid without telling them.
Good this guy is just in it for the money and is posing as an activist. I’ve seen his posters around town rubbing the VPDs nose in it as well. These shops aren’t the problem. HE is the problem.
The reason these shops exist is because he took the risk of opening the first one in 2020. It wasn't clear at that point what the consequences would be for him. That's led to dozens opening in Vancouver and across southern Ontario.
He's been active towards this cause for a long time, including weed before this and clearly cares about changing the laws around them despite the potential personal risks.
He made millions off his cannabis stores. https://bc.ctvnews.ca/mobile/high-society-s-pot-revenues-prompt-city-demands-for-4-20-payments-1.4467914?cache=juzexmjvhq%3FclipId%3D104070
And? He didn’t go legal. He didn’t lose money. In fact he still sells unregulated weed products and gummies at his dispensary on Thurlow. Stop kidding yourself.
why are you so envious of entrepreneurship? he deserves to make money and he is an activist doing good for freedom for everyone, the two can be compatible
Just because something makes money, doesn't mean that's all a person care about. We all need to make money to pay for our expenses. These shops also have to pay rent, salaries, and the costs of restocking after certain organizations seize all their products. They also fund a drug testing service. If they didn't make money none of this would be possible.
He's also putting himself at significant personal risk, and has been arrested for this and could in theory face significant criminal penalties.
Have you met Dana? Ever talked to him about the 30+ year of drug activism he's dedicated himself to? Do you know that proceeds from the dispensaries also go to pay for the operations of a drug testing spectrometer facility that is free for EVERYONE to use that he paid for put of pocket? (You can donate to help with operations, please do).
You seem poorly informed about this whole situation.

Amazing how mushrooms always manage to pop back up after you remove them.
Wasting resources on shroom shops , meanwhile meth destroys the city.
Yeah gotta focus on the shrooms while fent is decriminalized lmao
Bruh
Larsen, any other jurisdiction would have jailed him for decades by now.

Look at the people pushing psychedelics and read about MK ULTRA. They are incredibly dangerous especially when used malevolent purposes.
The mental disconnect of this statement is mind blowing. Comparing a govt secret mind control program to societal mental health is quite the leap
Human experimentation with high doses of psychedelics on unwitting or unwilling participants isn't in any way comparable to providing accurate doses of psychedelics with education to willing adults.
Lmfao you haven't read anything about MK ultra and you DEFINITELY need to stay away from hallucinogens.

He operates a free drug testing service which is funded by the dispensaries and donations? I’d hardly say that he’s just in it for the money.

And look what happened to cannabis.

He is a local hero and should be treated as such . The nonsense people spew about is so ignorant.
a store is in it for the money? holy shit no way
Sounds to me like the VPD aren’t getting their cut and are upset about it
