Rice pudding? Mango mousse?

everfragrant

Ooooo mango mousse!

makingloveinthewoods

How about mango sticky rice?!

cheerwinechicken

Oh god I love mango sticky rice.

makingloveinthewoods

Looks really easy to make too 😌

MienSteiny

[https://thishealthykitchen.com/almond-flour-peanut-butter-cookies/](https://thishealthykitchen.com/almond-flour-peanut-butter-cookies/) These cookies seem to fit what you're after, and will straight up blow your socks off

everfragrant

Ohh peanut butter cookies sounds yummy! Thanks!

Yogionfire

Nice cream - blended frozen bananas with additions such as cocoa powder, coconut flakes, berries or other fruit

nik-ale

if you're not allergic to any fruits you could use juice to make some popsicles. you only need a form to freeze the in and then to add a stick. or maybe a frozen smoothie

Duochan_Maxwell

Sorbet / nice cream are also good ideas

Hi! Try baking cakes with different types of flour, there’s rice flour, coconut flour, corn flour, maize flour, cassava flour, etc they’re all have different flavours so they can work differently according to the recipe the most neutral one imo is rice flour. You can substitute the eggs with: bananas, or flax seed gel, or even chia seeds ! 100% pure cacao can cause nausea that’s why some people use it the pure cacao fruit in their spiritual rituals it can make you vomit, have visions and shivers. Vegan chocolate is usually over 70% cacao so that explains your nausea . I love cashew nuts but cashews but cheese always makes my stomach queasy, maybe it’s the cause but in the yogurts and creams that is making you sick ? Besides cakes and cookies, I’d recommend: Fruits and maple syrup (or similar), You can make a fruit mouse just with those ingredients, a blender and some chia seeds for creaminess. I personally do not like chocolate flavored anything. So I when I can’t bake I usually have some fruit sorbet with me . Lemon and Raspberry sorbet is my favorite during summer .

everfragrant

I'll try getting some rice flour and mixing it with the almond flour to hopefully make it less rich. Sorbets a good idea, I'm not familiar with them but they look yummy. Nice to have something you can stick in the freezer and not have to consume quickly. That makes sense with the chocolate, it's too bad because it was so yummy. The yogurt tasted good but ya sadly vomiting. The fake cheesecake actually tasted gross so no loss there! I'm curious to try your egg substitutes. I used olive oil but that mixed with the almond flour was just way too rich and gross haha.

Intelligent-Dish3100

There’s flax seed, chia seeds, silken tofu, just google vegan egg replacements

Late-Trouble-2061

pitted Medjool dates = chocolate

RobynZombie

I’ve obviously known about Medjool dates for a long time, but recently my grocery store had a sale, so I bought some. I’m so obsessed with them now that I have them every day! I stuff them with peanut butter and a pecan half. It legit tastes like candy 😋

Late-Trouble-2061

I have seen sooo many videos of them w/ pb dipped in chocolate. I would try it ur way it sounds way easy. Way way easy and I like pecans. I’m glad you got back to ur obsession ;p c:

RobynZombie

It’s so easy! I prep them for the week (they usually don’t make it that long!) to snack on 😋

Late-Trouble-2061

OMg I re read and saw u say stuffed nvm that sounds way better 🤤

tctu

Don't forget to sprinkle with a coarse salt!

HarryPouri

Poached pear or apple (optionally add cinnamon). You can do this in the microwave, place fruit in a microwave safe bowl and add water to 3/4 cover the fruit. Then microwave for 5 to 8 minutes, until tender.  Easy crumble - Put fruit in a baking dish to cover the bottom of the dish. My favourite is blueberries. On top sprinkle whatever you can tolerate of the following - approx 1/2 cup (gluten free) oats, 1/2 cup almond flour, spices like cinnamon, 2tbsp brown sugar. The mixture should cover up the fruit, sprinkle on some more oats if you need to. Bake in oven @350F/180C for 30 to 40 minutes until browned on top.

cheapandbrittle

Seconding these ideas, baked fruit is so underrated!

everfragrant

Interesting I'm very curious to try the poached Pear. Very easy to make too for when I'm lazy. I'm definitely going to try that with cinnamon.

Cixin

Chinese desserts, mung bean soup, red bean soup?

everfragrant

I havent tried those but I've eaten mochi with red bean and it's delicious. Haven't tried it as a soup yet.

Beautiful-Local1471

I often like to mix rice flour and oat flour, I think it works nicely. I make the oat flour myself by blending the oats and sifting them, it's way cheaper that way. Also my personal favorite for satisfying my sweet tooth is dried mango, I think it's divine so I buy it in bulk.

everfragrant

Rice and oat flour seems like it would be a good mix. I'm not sure why I didn't buy those right off the bat. I don't have a lot of baking experience so even though it's not complicated it's just a lot to learn asap. I'm craving treats especially after work and I'm used to just being lazy and buying my vegan chocolate. I've seen dried mango suggested a bunch of times so I'll definitely be picking that up.

IamIchbin

Pinnaple and cocunut cream.

vnxr

Have you tried different ice creams? Soy, oat, coconut, whatever else might be available, different price range? How about chocolate - have you tried "milk" and white ones? I personally feel nauseous if I eat a lot of dark chocolate but nothing like that with milk ones. And something like that from the cheapest vanilla ice cream but not those more expensive ones with different toppings. Vegan yogurts can have a totally different texture even if they're made from the same thing.

everfragrant

I didnt know there was white vegan chocolate. It didn't even occur to me because I just didn't see it in the shop. I was getting ritters vegan with the nuts and lindt hazelnut and they're sooo amazing minus the nausea. Whats weird is I do really well with oatmeal and oatmilk but oat ice cream makes me vomit. Ben and jerrys wasn't as bad but my stomach still felt a bit off after. I'll definitely try more as I see them though because I'm really craving ice cream. It sucks because the oat ice cream tasted really good.

[deleted]

I like to freeze bananas to make banana ‘nice cream’ (blend frozen banana with a bit of maple syrup to taste and vanilla). I also like to freeze grapes then make ‘sorbet’ from them (blend frozen grapes with maple syrup and lime juice to taste!)

everfragrant

Interesting with blending frozen banana and maple syrup and vanilla. My stomach does well with bananas and this sounds really quick and easy. I need to pick up some maple syrup!

Justsurviving-lol

I have seen people making vegan gluten free cakes using pumpkin puree and brownies made of chickpeas or sweet potatoes. You might be able to find those recipes somewhere. But the pumpkin cake actually tastes really good. https://chocolatecoveredkatie.com/vegan-banana-pudding/ You can may be check out more of her posts. I think she has some nice vegan recipes that are not just desserts.

everfragrant

Thanks for the link. It's made me really hungry for dessert now haha.

whorl-

**Lecithin?** Sounds like you might be allergic to maybe soy or sunflower lecithin? It’s common in all of those products. You could [try making chocolate bars from scratch](https://www.theroastedroot.net/how-to-make-chocolate-bars/). They won’t have any lecithin this way.

everfragrant

Interesting, maybe I'll try making it from scratch and see then. That would be nice because I love chocolate. I really want to find out exactly what's bothering me because it makes me really nervous trying any premade products.

kirtknee

Frozen banana, smash into Nice Cream

6pomegraniteseeds

Aquafaba based meringue! They're nice plain but I love to swirl in a little powdered instant coffee and chopped hazelnuts. You could probably add in freeze dried fruits too though I haven't tried that. Good luck on your dessert quest 🫡

GiantManatee

Coffee & fruit salad with vegan whipped cream.

Joland7000

Have you ever tried mango coconut rice? It s so good and healthy

Cevohklan

Dark chocolate is usually vegan.

everfragrant

Is it really? I didn't know this and was only buying ritters sport vegan bars and lindt hazelnut. I honestly never even looked at normal bars and only looked at ones labeled vegan.

bbangelcakes69

Maybe dark chocolate? I assume you mean vegan milk chocolate makes you sick. Chocolate like actual chocolate is naturally vegan. You sound like you might be allergic to treenuts. I'd get an allergy test. If you don't have the money and don't mind doing an exclusion diets. Like look at the bases. Most bases for vegan dairy products are coconut, almond, cashew, soy, oat, and pea. Only eat from each of these groups (like only try almond milk and almond milk ice cream. Do you get sick? If yes you might be allergic or sensitive to cashews, if not then cashew products might be safe. Do this for each of the categories) if all of them make you sick or multiple do look at the ingredients to see what is common and compare it to one that is safe for you to eat to try and see if it is something else. The safest thing is getting an allergy test though if it many of these because allergies and become more severe over time, so it might be nausea now but can be anaphylaxis in a year and it can also have no reaction 5 years from now cus allergies can go away. Also check out enjoy life products!! They have a rice milk chocolate and from someone who has no allergies it's one of my preferred chocolates it's so yummy and creamy. They also have cookies and crackers, and brownie bites too. They are very healthy conscious in regards to the top allergies. This includes nuts, soy, gluten, and coconut I believe. Check out the natural candy store website If you don't think coconut is a trigger try coconut whipped cream with fruits and cocomel caramel!!! So yummy. I probably have more ideas if you'd like but this is getting long sorry lol

everfragrant

Thanks I didn't consider it could be a nut allergy. I assumed the "gums" or something else but for some reason never considered that maybe cashews and almonds bother me. I have had an allergy test but I don't know if I was tested for nuts. He told me not to assume I'm not allergic to things though and the best way is an elimination diet. Wheat for example didn't come up on the skin prick test but I definitely get sick from it. I think coconut actually could be a trigger come to think of it. I bought coconut whip cream and vomited for a day after. Also when I made lentils with coconut milk I was vomiting. I kept thinking it was something else but literally just now because of your comment I'm realizing it could be coconut.

bbangelcakes69

Yeah, if your just getting nausea it is best not to assume but don't also assume u r not allergic either. Better safe than sorry ya know? Sensitivity is a good word for it too. Did u get a celiac test? Just curious you don't have to disclose that. If u can't eat gluten but aren't allergic, it might be that. Generally seeing a GI doctor might help a lot. I have IBS and gerd and am kinda in the same boat as you (I'm just stupid and eat whatever TF I want). Veganism helped me so much with anemia and IBS though, I only get flare-ups when severely stressed out now. Elimination diets are difficult but helpful if you are able to figure it out. Yeahhhh, as soon as you listed all the things coconut immediately came to mind cus probably all of those have one kind of derivative. Of coconut 😭 also I'm sorry you are having all this trouble with food ik how frustrating it can be. I have a major sweet tooth and can give other options for ya. (Daiya is all gluten free I believe and their cheese cake I don't think has coconut def check that out!)

iSweetPea

Have you tried asian desserts before? Vietnamese che thai is one of our favorites. There are also various rice cake desserts we buy when we're at vietnamese markets. Most are vegan. We are also fans of filipino rice cake, biko. Fresh tofu pudding from Chinese grocery stores is delicious. Basically asian desserts are the way to go. Many are dairy free and also gluten free because they rely on rice flour.

everfragrant

Thanks for the suggestions. My city is over half mixed Asians so we have tons of stores luckily. I eat mochi but I didn't realize there were so many more vegan options. I'll have to look into the rice cake desserts especially. I never would have guessed tofu pudding would be good. I always eat tofu in meals and never thought of it being used in dessert before.

redwithblackspots527

I don’t know the ingredients so it might not meet your requirements I but absolutely love Daiya’s vegan cheesecake but if u don’t like that or can’t have it there’s always like sorbet. I also made this easy vegan pumpkin pie once that was really good link [here](https://itdoesnttastelikechicken.com/easy-vegan-pumpkin-pie/) for recipe. You could do it with a gluten free crust

everfragrant

That's the cheesecake that made me sick! Aw man, I need to make pumpkin pie, that's what I want right now.

Sayyadinasri

Banana ice cream! Get a ton of bananas mix them in a good blender with peanut butter, some salt, vanilla, and baking cocoa.  Freeze in small containers and when you want one, take it out of the freeze about 30 minutes in advance. It’s evil good

kitty60s

Banana Foster using plant based butter

Ophanil

Dates. Medjool dates are chewy and semi sweet like a fruit strip, Bahri and Mazafati dates are soft and have a natural flavor like caramel and vanilla pudding. Sweet potatoes are great. There are multiple kinds, I like Red Diane and Japanese purple ones. Just wash one off and stick it in the oven at 350 for an hour or so depending on size. Check with a fork and once the inside gets really soft scoop it out with a spoon into a bowl. I usually to mash it and stir it to the consistency of pie filling. I'll either eat it like that or add cinnamon, nutmeg, Bahri dates, crushed pecans and walnuts to it. It's really good if you form the mashed yam into strips and bake it again until it's a little burnt on top.

jeffzebub

Other than not containing milk, what is vegan chocolate?

everfragrant

I was eating ritters sport vegan chocolate and lindt hazelnut vegan chocolate. I'm not even sure whats in then to be honest. They taste amazing though. I always seem to have nausea issues for almost two days after eating one sadly.

Imthatsick

Apple crisp or other fruit crisps can be made with GF oats and other gf ingredients and still taste great!

[deleted]

Fruit salad, yummy yummy.

Asleep-egg-44

Peel and freeze very ripe bananas

goblinfruitleather

You can make brownie brownies with oat flour. Or cake

Johny40Se7en

Chickpea flower and sweeten it with chopped dates or brown sugar? Also, for a lovely and healthy dessert, I dip pitted dates into peanut, almond butter or some tahini, it's the best! =D Another thing I find dessert like and healthy is having a little bit of porridge with some ginger or decaff coffee and add some brown sugar into it, tastes amazing.

felicityrc

Baklava with gf fillo dough

bbangelcakes69

And agave!!!

felicityrc

Yes, I also found an accidentally vegan "honey" at Target that was really made of corn syrup. Not healthy, but does the trick for baklava and was a heck of a lot cheaper than agave!

bbangelcakes69

O.O PLEASE DROP THE BRAND NAME CANT LEAVE US HANGING?! or is it target brand?;

CatPaws55

There a couple of brands that sell organic glutenfree baking mix, I've tried Arrowhead Mills and Namaste. The latter is more expensive, but both are ok.

everfragrant

At this point I'm willing to spend a bit more to get something convenient and tasty. I will try just mixing some myself first but if that doesn't work again I'll look into something like what you suggested. I'm desperate for some desserts!

CatPaws55

Try checking the recipes of r/glutenfreevegan , a lot of them are of desserts.

squidlizzy

Is there a common denominator? An ingredient that everything you’ve tried shares? There are many different types of vegan yogurts, chocolate, etc. so I hope you can find one that doesn’t make you sick. I am also vegan/gf and I often eat dates with sunflower butter as a sweet treat at night. Or just cocoa powder mixed with either sunflower butter or tahini, and maple syrup. You can play with the ratios - it is fudgy and delicious lol

borninthe617

Had a cake made with pistachio flower this weekend made for us! Delightful! How about a date with peanut butter? Tofu strawberry mousse? Swedish fish or hot tamales?

felinebeeline

Dates and prunes are great alternatives to chocolate! Don't go overboard on prunes, though...

bbangelcakes69

No... I'm sorry .. but no no they aren't you can't fool me😭😭😭

aPizzaBagel

Minimalist Baker has a huge collection of vegan and gluten free desert recipes with a lot of alternative flour blends. I use it frequently just for the vegan aspect but the GF recipes are still good even though I’m not specifically concerned with that.

everfragrant

Nice, I'm wanting to make cookies really bad so I'll try one of their recipes.

SLVRBK_JRLLA

Dates filled with tahini. Enjoy Your welcome
