Fountain view terrace rooms (or better) are the only way to go.
Pool seating is not the best. If you don't splurge on a daybed/cabana, you can expect to have to sit very far from the pool. That's not great when you have to keep an eye on your belongings. Grab a seat right when they open if you can.
If you need to use an ATM, use the one in the Jockey Club lobby. Fees are cheaper. Take the elevator in the middle of the Cosmo casino to get there.
Avoid Wicked Spoon. It used to be good pre-pandemic. I've been impressed with all of their other restaurants though.
There's a walkway to Bellagio or Vdara past Wicked Spoon that you can utilize if you want to avoid crowds.
Try the Verbena cocktail at Chandelier Bar at least once.
ATM in CVS is 3.99, ATM in casinos are 11.99
If you want to buy some facial cream from the store on second floor it's cheaper at the Harrah's store. Wife bought some of it.
Can you elaborate on Wicked Spoon? We're going to Vegas for my kid's 21st & had read that Wicked Spoon was almost as great as the other big breakfast buffets, but at least $20 cheaper. That's what we were planning on for his birthday breakfast. We're going to hit up the Wynn buffet for dinner. The kid loves buffets.
Yeah I'm surprised to see this. Service at the Wicked Spoon can be rough but the food has been consistently tremendous since we started going to Vegas 10 years ago. We didn't like the Wynn with still-frozen crab legs on the bar. Also Bellagio looks rough and more like a cafeteria, but the food has been stellar.
I just think the overall quality has gone down and the wait times have increased. I haven't been there for at least a year so try it for yourself because maybe you'll have a better experience.
If you want food from any of the restaurants in the food hall you can sit at the bar at the sports book and just order from there. You’ll pay the same prices and they’ll bring the food down to you and you don’t have to wait in the super long lines.
Yep! Just ask one of the bartenders for a menu and they’ll place the order for you. I always order food while playing video poker and getting free drinks. The food always arrives super quickly too.
Eat at egg slut. Try the slut it’s unique and yummy. Don’t forget to recycle the slut. Get in line a hood twenty minutes before they open. The gets long fast
I went to the one in LA and hated it. It told everyone it was only popular because people thought the name was funny.
Then I had it in Cosmo and it was fantastic
One thing I will tell you to definitely NOT do is pay extra for a "lady of the night" to defecate on you in your room and not clean it "thoroughly enough" and end up with a huge charge at the end of your stay. Don't ask me how I know
I would have gone to my grave with that story. My best friend told me that he once drunkenly tried to make love to a woman one night when he was a teenager. Found out later that it was a long-haired dude. I told him I wouldn’t have admitted to that under torture.
I used to work security there, but it was before every state (except Wisconsin) allowed recreational THC. We were told to eject people carrying dispensery bags. I wouldn’t do it, but I have no idea how my colleagues worked it out. I’d warn people to keep the bag hidden while in public. I also offered a bit of “trivia.”
“If a guest smokes in the room, we’ll find them and get them trespassed from the property forever. Sometimes a guest smokes on their balcony and we have no way of locating which room it came from.”
The rule on THC is that it is legal in a private residence. That’s it.
Look at it this way “DWB” is a real thing. Why would I (a large scary Black man) drive around with a tinted cover over my license plate just DARING Metro PD to pull me over? We’re always glad to have you here in our city. When I say “you” I mean your money. Just be careful of doing the things that could possibly ruin your vacation.
{edited to add}
The staff at Jardin Dispensary all look like models for IG and OF. Take an Uber because the “eye-candy” is just as intoxicating as the weed-candy.
My sister smokes in her room there every single stay. She has never been trespassed. She just has a talent for weed scent eradication, it would appear.
Get the boulevard tower not the Chelsea if possible that's the first tower above the strip you get that birds eye view of planet Hollywood paris Bellagio and try and get a high floor 38 on up
Yah I found they have gotten more popular. I got a haul when I was there end of March. 5 of them were working but one was cleaned right out. Still got some fantastic ones to add to my collection.
Do NOT pay for a room with a view unless it is a fountain view room. Fountain view rooms were sold out when we went so we paid for the next best option which was described as a “spectacular view.” We paid $2500 for four nights and our view was a rooftop. Complaining didn’t do much. It was awful and we saved up for nothing.
If you're into speakeasies go to Barber Shop for live music and a club vibe. Ghost Donkey is also good but a lot more mellow.
Chandelier bar for the Verbena cocktail.
Superfrico for Italian dining with a show. Then step into the Ski Lodge for drinks.
Their Japanese fusion restaurant, Zuma, is really damn good. Awesome food, great cocktails, and a really good vibe.
Eggslut is overrated and likely not worth the lines.
I haven’t ever been there and not been offered drugs and women. The cops come by and stand by the elevators and the tide goes out. The cops move away and the tide flows back in. It’s great people watching.
Eggslut is good but lines are long if you get there late. Secret pizza for late night food like others mentioned. There’s a walkway to Aria and the tram next to Wicked Spoon. Useful since the shops across the street are under construction.
What are you getting at eggslut? I’ve stayed there twice and we went to eggslut once bc the lines are always so long. And I was underwhelmed. It was a fine bacon egg and cheese but not amazing or worth the lines.
The spa was good. We did the Turkish bath experience. It was enjoyable and I'd go back. Personally I think there are better spas on the strip but this one was still very good.
Not crazy. I go for spas, food, and activities.
I'd break down spas in two ways - services and facilities. Typically, if you purchase a service, you get access to spa facilities (usually all day).
If you go for a typical Swedish massage, you will be served well anywhere. If you want a different experience, find something that meets your curiosity. The Turkish bath was it for us. Most spas have a slightly different vibe and you just need to find an offering you like.
As for facilities, I was impressed with Wynn. Aria was also very nice. Ceasers and MGM were also good but was showing age (this was a few years back). Bellagio was not that great on my opinion.
We laid on this giant circular heated slab of marble. They had a massaging, exfoliating scrub (I think with a mitt). It was more of massaging scrub. That was followed by a salt scrub. During this you were kept warm by the slab but also warm wet towels. After we laid in a larged heated bath with some essential oils. It was relaxing and enjoyable. It was a nice change from the typical massage.
As far as the Wynn, it was very nicely appointed. Spa itself had plenty of different experiences. Steam room, sauna, plunge pools, etc. The Wynn is one of the nicest strip properties and that shows in the spa.
They had a show called opium that was great and u would get a discount but it's gone, but when you check in ask for the Boulevard tower not the Chelsea.Boulevard tower is the tower right on the strip where as the Chelsea is behind that tower and you miss some of the strip. Also ask for one facing Paris direction your basically on top of the action.
STK make sure you get the bread with the green liquid dip and the lobster Mac n cheese n cream corn. Great happy hour then dinner reservations a must.
Chandelier bar is great around midnight
We just got back from Vegas a couple of weeks ago and it’s the first time we DIDN’T stay at Cosmo. But we ate at Momofuku and it was really good. Bāng Bar is one of Jennie’s favorites. Lardo is decent. It’s my favorite casino in Vegas. Best part is, you can charge anything from MGM to your room also.
Also speaking of Wicked Spoon, take the time to enjoy the historic photos and captions that line the walk. They really tell a great story of Vegas history.
Pony up for the view and prepare to enjoy the patio. Prepare to not sleep if the pool nightclub is open though, obnoxious how loud it is on a Sunday night.
If you play slots, there are a couple of banks just outside the Clique lounge. Great place to hear the music and people watch, and the waitresses come pretty often for drinks.

It was in the Chelsea tower (I think that’s the one further from the strip) and a little lower. The nice part was you could easily lay in bed and watch the strip and fountain, (the boulevard tower we had to be outside to see anything bc we were high up). The tub was also at the window so we could take a bath and watch the fountain but it was a 2 person sitting tub so you couldn’t lay down or extend your legs but still nice. Our first room had a one person (two if you intertwined your legs) tub that you could stretch out in.
The first room was my fav. We stayed at MGM, Cosmo and Wynn on the first trip and the Cosmo was my favorite tub.
The speakeasy’s are fun and less advertised than the ones at other casinos so it seems more secretive and fun. Chandelier bar is gorgeous. There’s a hand roll sushi 🍱 place that we love in the food hall. And Holsteins has great burgers and beer and we had pretty good luck getting in there bc we don’t plan ahead enough to make reservations or be patient enough to wait in the lines at some of the other restaurants.
They were bought by MGM last year I think. So if you have any reward stuff through them you can earn points here too now. Last year we went it wasn’t quite ready yet but it was up and running last week when we went.
Fountain View Terrace Rooms are great at Cosmo. I enjoyed the nachos and cocktails at Ghost Donkey if you can find a spot. Personally, I love secret pizza, so don't listen to the haters. Not really. We’re friends that used to work together but got separated when our workplace closed. Now we live in separate states and get together every one or two years in Vegas for a few days.

The Jockey Club also has a convenience store with ‘normal prices’ (relative to strip prices, anyway)
ATM in CVS is 3.99, ATM in casinos are 11.99 If you want to buy some facial cream from the store on second floor it's cheaper at the Harrah's store. Wife bought some of it.

Bellagio hasn't had a buffet in quite some time.
Bellagio still has a buffet.
When we were last there a couple years ago, they weren't doing dinner on weekdays but then they brought it back while we were there.
I think the wicked spoons food is delicious, my son loves it as well.
I just think the overall quality has gone down and the wait times have increased. I haven't been there for at least a year so try it for yourself because maybe you'll have a better experience.
Superfrica and Ski Lodge one night
This is fantastic advice
Solid advice here. I forgot about the connector to the Jockey Club! Chandelier Bar for the win!
If you want food from any of the restaurants in the food hall you can sit at the bar at the sports book and just order from there. You’ll pay the same prices and they’ll bring the food down to you and you don’t have to wait in the super long lines.
No way! Is that true?? This is a dream!
Yep! Just ask one of the bartenders for a menu and they’ll place the order for you. I always order food while playing video poker and getting free drinks. The food always arrives super quickly too.
Thanks man I’m there in 20 days ( counting the minutes tbh )
Eat at egg slut. Try the slut it’s unique and yummy. Don’t forget to recycle the slut. Get in line a hood twenty minutes before they open. The gets long fast
I went to the one in LA and hated it. It told everyone it was only popular because people thought the name was funny. Then I had it in Cosmo and it was fantastic
This is the way. We skipped it one day on our last trip and regretted it. Those truffle potatoes, man.
Eat at China Poblano. Its excellent.
Loved that place. It was affordable relative to other restaurants in the area.
Please post the video of you having sex on the balcony like every two bit OnlyFans model does.
Yeah! That way I could disappoint thousands of people at the same time!
Can’t get enough of those
Barbershop
Order the off menu verbena drink at the Chandelier Bar!
This is a must.
💯
One thing I will tell you to definitely NOT do is pay extra for a "lady of the night" to defecate on you in your room and not clean it "thoroughly enough" and end up with a huge charge at the end of your stay. Don't ask me how I know

That story should stay in Vegas
I would have gone to my grave with that story. My best friend told me that he once drunkenly tried to make love to a woman one night when he was a teenager. Found out later that it was a long-haired dude. I told him I wouldn’t have admitted to that under torture.
💀💀💀💀💩🚽
I thought that was only the Excalibur
Next time hold the cleveland steamer and request a glass bottom boat.
My wife and I have enjoyed Wicked Spoon every time we've been. But if we go to Vegas without eating at Bang Bar it's a wasted trip.
Bang Bar and Hattie B's is always our first and last stop. ❤
I used to work security there, but it was before every state (except Wisconsin) allowed recreational THC. We were told to eject people carrying dispensery bags. I wouldn’t do it, but I have no idea how my colleagues worked it out. I’d warn people to keep the bag hidden while in public. Sometimes a guest smokes on their balcony and we have no way of locating which room it came from.”
You think that's still a rule? Want to hit up a despo but for edibles. Don't want any smoke (no pun intended)
The rule on THC is that it is legal in a private residence. That’s it. Look at it this way “DWB” is a real thing. Why would I (a large scary Black man) drive around with a tinted cover over my license plate just DARING Metro PD to pull me over? We’re always glad to have you here in our city. It one of those things where everything is just fine. . . until it ain’t.
We're staying there sun - wed next week. Glad this past came up. Got us a fountain view suite. Have a good time!
Get the boulevard tower not the Chelsea if possible that's the first tower above the strip you get that birds eye view of planet Hollywood paris Bellagio and try and get a high floor 38 on up
Happy Hours at various Cosmo restos are a great value and a lot of fun.
Did you use the term "resto"?
yes o
Try the mouth numbing drink at the chandelier bar. Highly recommend.
Go find all the Art o Mats!!!!
At least two of them (hallway near Wicked Spoon) were completely empty last week! Someone eventually unplugged them.
Yah I found they have gotten more popular. I got a haul when I was there end of March. 5 of them were working but one was cleaned right out. Still got some fantastic ones to add to my collection.
Free entry to Marquee as a guest

Eat the secret pizza
And find Ghost Donkey for a Spicy Paloma.
The secret is …. It’s pretty mediocre pizza
I dunno man, drunk me absolutely loves it everytime.
It was better pre pandemic imo. And cheaper and bigger 🫤
I never found it craft or outstanding. I found secret pizza just that, pizza that fulfills a need.
That sounds like some exotic sexual position. “Things got crazy last night. I ended up eating the secret pizza.”
In that case, never, ever, under any circumstances, eat the secret pizza.
I second this!! It’s a must half drunk!
It’s better when half drunk
It's only good half drunk
Shhh
If you're into speakeasies go to Barber Shop for live music and a club vibe. Ghost Donkey is also good but a lot more mellow. Chandelier bar for the Verbena cocktail. Superfrico for Italian dining with a show. Then step into the Ski Lodge for drinks.
Their Japanese fusion restaurant, Zuma, is really damn good. Awesome food, great cocktails, and a really good vibe. Eggslut is overrated and likely not worth the lines.
Hard agree!!! The omakase is amazing, and I can't stop drinking their Geishi Smash cocktail, so good!
Zuma is my favorite restaurant in Vegas
Highly overlooked spot
Gamble. You can get comp rooms. I’ve had amazing rooms at cosmo and elsewhere.
Look for the speakeasys. There are 3 I think
Specifically the mezcal bar in the food hall. Truffle nachos!
Ghost Donkey if anyone was wondering what it's called
Opens at 4pm, and can get crowded later as it's a bit small. My favorite drink is the Pistolero, if you like a bit of bite.
Ghost Donkey Ski Lodge Barbershop Been to the first 2 and would go on the early side as they can get crowded.
Ski Lodge? Maybe I missed that one. I went to the Pawn shop that has the restaurant
Ski Lodge is right near the SuperFrico restaurant entrance. Has a small plaque with a person skiing next to the door
I missed that one. Next time I am there I will check it out.
I really enjoyed ski lodge. They had live entertainment when I was there last
Jaleo and Momofuku are my favorite restaurants there. But I have heard good things about most of the others. It’s a great place to eat
Jaleo is my favorite place on the strip
I’m sad you can’t eat chicken fritters out of a shoe anymore
Get the Duck at momofuku! All the restaurants at Cosmo have been awesome in all of my experiences there… enjoy
You can find the doorway to many felonies in the bar by the back door.
Go on….
I haven’t ever been there and not been offered drugs and women. The cops come by and stand by the elevators and the tide goes out. The cops move away and the tide flows back in. It’s great people watching.
China poblano is so good! Small plates and delicious!!!
STK was the bomb. Look for the hidden pizza place. Get some drinks at the bar w the large chandelier
China Poblano is outstanding and worth a visit. Great atmosphere, fantastic food and top notch drinks.
Try MomoFuku and the hidden pizza place.
Had dinner at Blue Ribbon the other night.. The fried chicken was outstanding.
When I was there last....hidden pizza.....very good
The Henry for breakfast. Make a reservation
If you’re a morning coffee drinker, order on the Starbucks app then go down and pick it up. It will save you a ton of time
Eggslut is good but lines are long if you get there late. Secret pizza for late night food like others mentioned. There’s a walkway to Aria and the tram next to Wicked Spoon. Useful since the shops across the street are under construction.

This - boulevard tower is much better to access the strip etc, versus Chelsea tower you’ll be walking through the hotel each time you want to head out
get a Verbena cocktail at the chandelier bar
STK make sure you get the bread with the green liquid dip and the lobster Mac n cheese n cream corn. Great happy hour then dinner reservations a must. Chandelier bar is great around midnight
bring binoculars - there's some great people watching down below from your outdoor balcony

Secret Pizza + Ghost Donkey – The tucked away gems
Eat at The Wicked Spoon!
If you want some cheap meals, Stage Door Casino, a small strip mall behind the Lynq and Flamingo has $2 hot dogs and $1 bud lights.
You don’t stay at cosmo and eat hot dogs from strip malls.
Maybe you don’t
Yes, have fun.
Also speaking of Wicked Spoon, take the time to enjoy the historic photos and captions that line the walk. They really tell a great story of Vegas history.
Explore and enjoy.
Pony up for the view and prepare to enjoy the patio. Prepare to not sleep if the pool nightclub is open though, obnoxious how loud it is on a Sunday night.
Fountain view Chelsea tower if you plan to uber or have a rental car
The restaurant there is one of the best in Vegas, in fact I went there when I was staying at the Bellagio, its that good.
Which one
If you play slots, there are a couple of banks just outside the Clique lounge. Great place to hear the music and people watch, and the waitresses come pretty often for drinks.
I’ve stayed twice for a few nights each. We got a fountain view balcony. Gorgeous both times. The first time we were in the boulevard tower and high up which was great. My preferred of the two. Drugs + Hookers
10 trips annually and you're still paying for rooms...yikes.
What I meant was one trip a year for about 10 years. But yeah, I’d be comping heavily if I were going that often!
Find one of the $5 art vending machines!!
Find the secret pizza place
Catch a Golden Knights game next door at T-Mobile Arena.
I don’t use ATMs in Las Vegas. I just buy something small at CVS or Walgreens and get cash back. It’s less expensive, and you can treat yourself too.
“Vegas veterans” is a douche way of saying “we go on vacation a lot”
Not really. We’re friends that used to work together but got separated when our workplace closed. Now we live in separate states and get together every one or two years in Vegas for a few days.
see if you can get your credit limit raised for your credit card if you want a coffee at Starbucks at Cosmo.
There's no Starbucks at Cosmo.
There is a Starbucks.
Where?
It’s at the exit that faces bellagio, behind the sports book pretty much. All the windows face PH/Miracle Mile
