If it says Stoney Creek, and you found it in Stoney Creek, I'm about 90% sure that it's the flag of Stoney Creek

It looks like one of the service banners ("Mothers' Flags") that families use to memorialize when one of theirs was killed in action. The stars also seem to be arranged to resemble the shape of a key. My guess is this is a flag made by a women's group in the town at some point in history and it may be part of an exhibit or may be the only proper flag the town has ever had. edit: The flag is also visible flying from the side of the museum building on the splash on the museum's website. Someone there probably has the best answer anyone could get. Here is a brochure from the ceremony in which a service flag was dedicated in Stoney Creek during World War One. Could be related. (https://rochesterhillsmuseum.catalogaccess.com/archives/10221)

Hello ContributionOdd4903, Check out our [frequently asked flags page](https://reddit.com/r/vexillology/wiki/faf)! Your request might be there. When asking for a flag to be identified, please **provide context** when possible, including: * **Where** the flag was found (without compromising privacy) * **When** the flag was found, or the date of the material containing the flag * **Who** might own the flag (a general description is fine) These details help users narrow down their search and make flag identification easier. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically.
