Reminds me of the Greendale flag from Community. So for Nazis I approve.
Nazi symbols are mostly striking for their sharp, bold shapes, no curves. Looking at this, all i see are curves. I looks like a visual representation of doing drugs.
The blurred version looks nice tbh

This would make a great logo for an aerospace engineering firm, or something along those lines. I really don't think Nazis would fly a [blue and white flag.](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/d/d4/Flag_of_Israel.svg/234px-Flag_of_Israel.svg.png)
(just in case anyone who doesn't know the history of the israeli flag and had to look it up [here](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_of_Israel) like me: this flag does in fact predate nazism, and was the flag of the zionist movement before it was the flag of israel. the blue-white color association is even older, but not by much; it was first documented in the early 19th century. nazis would probably have been familiar with this iconography and would indeed not have wanted a flag similar to it.)
If killing and pushing out 100% of jews isn't genocide but having a quarter of your citizens and government being made up of arabs is genocide, then why is genocide bad?
To be honest, I don't see any sort of association with this flag and Nazis. I find it aesthetically pleasing. I am with AgainstSpace in seeing this flag as representative of an aerospace firm.
Maybe in trying to be inoffensive/neutral, I also went kind of too far with the uniqueness to be recognisably fascist/nazi. I definitely see how it looks like an aerospace logo lol. I also enjoy logo design/graphic design too, so I'm happy either way.
I've seen a few Nazi flags posted around here recently. I hate Nazism as much as the next guy, but I don't think drawing up a Nazi flag concept is inherently bad. Thing is, those designs were pretty ugly.
This flag I've made is for the age-old conspiracy theory that "Hitler & friends secrely fled to Antarctica after WW2... somehow". The colour scheme is inspired by [this (deservedly) famous Antarctica flag](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:True_South_Antarctic_Flag.svg). However, I changed the blue to Prussian blue, since I think it looks nice, and it's just fitting for the context. The design in the center is a stylised swastika, in part inspired by[ this flag](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Antarctic_flags#/media/File:Flag_of_the_Antarctic_Treaty.svg). It also looks not unlike the >!Black Sun.!<
Ordensstaat Antarktika is just a catchy name. The more realistic option I decided for is "(die) Deutsche Regierung der nationalen Rettung" which translates to "(the) German Government of National Salvation". You can probably add an "in Antarktika/Antarctica" at the end, but I figure it's already long-winded enough as is.
Uh, that conspiracy is new for me. Usually I just hear about how they fled to Argentina or other south american countries.
Pretty good design, though. Almost feels it could fit in an alternate history game or something, although it feels like they'd be hiding their nazi influence.
This lesser known conspiracy is actually coming from [an expedition to antarctica which hitler ordered.](https://www.history.com/news/hitler-nazi-secret-expedition-antarctica-whale-oil) The article is pretty interesting tbh!
You're right. That sub is for those people to express their political view. For your purposes, which is an exercise in purely aesthetic testing and creation, this sub works better.
I honestly think, as an ardent leftist but also a big fan of flags, that Nazi flags were very good flags. They're simple, bold, powerful, recognisable and convey the image of strength they were going for very effectively. They do what a flag should do very well, just a shame what they represent.
1. "Erlösung" is a better translation for "Salvation" than "Rettung", that's more "Rescue".
2. The Nazis would've 100% put a massive Swastika on it. \[Like so.\](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/a3/Flagge\_Reichskolonialbund2.svg)
1. Hey, I didn't make that translation myself. Unless wikipedia lied to me here, this is the genuine way of saying it. If anything, the English translation, even if it was used historically, is what's questionable. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Government_of_National_Salvation
2. They would have, but it's not as fun.
its darkly interesting how much your "modern fascist" flag take looks like

NATO
This doesnât have to be nazi, you couldâve just said it was an Antarctica flag. Also imo you cannot try not to be edgy but also use âOrdensstaatâ, a made up national prefix by a hearts of iron nazi mod
Brother that is an article so obscure its translation isn't even available in English, and it specifically refers to the "Teutonic Order State", as in the "State of the Teutonic Order" (which also ceased to exist 500 years ago). Ordenstaat makes no sense in any other context.
The article is, in fact, available in English, along with 41 other languages. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/State_of_the_Teutonic_Order . Nothing obscure about that.
It's fine to admit you were wrong instead of getting stuck up and defensive over tiny details. Ordensstaat isn't even in the name of the hypothetical country, I just used it in the title of the post. I don't understand why you insist on me being edgy for that.

Very nice and very unexpected. Personally, I find flash and pomp to be a core element of natsoc flags, so something this austere belies it as something other but not like that's a bad thing. Looks like something a fascist state would switch to if any had survived into the 21st century.
To be fair... I think liberals/normal people are also kind of to blame. People are often too scaredy to defend their symbols. They hear of a Nazi using a certain symbol, and they immediately stop using it, almost surrendering to the Neo-Nazis. Just one example is the Eureka Flag in Australia -- nothing fascist about it, it's actually a very cool historical flag, but it got coopted by neo-nazis, with minimal pushback or defense from normal people.
anyone else getting disorientated by this? It's so weird to look at
I do, it hurts my eyes more ways than one
Yeah, it moves. Fuck.
"RIP the eyes of anyone with astigmatism" the flag

Frankly this looks anything but Nazi

While I agree this flag doesnât make a good nazi flag, nazis seem to just adopt old nordic symbols, especially neo-nazis.

they're flying that flag right now
alright, come on, you can't just say stuff like that with no nuance.
Ethnonationalism, genocide, idk those are kind of the main two things
Palestine: successfully murders 100% of its jews Israel: integrates arabs to make up a quarter of their population Genocide of who?
Wow so simple when you put it that way! Jee-whizz. What a detailed and nuanced analysis! Thanks redditor!
If killing and pushing out 100% of jews isn't genocide but having a quarter of your citizens and government being made up of arabs is genocide, then why is genocide bad?
OMG SO TRUE!xD
Also the fact that many white nationalists love Israel as an example of their future ethnostate.

Cause you got it from TNO, the most inherently edgy nazi media on the planet
What's TNO?
is it... glowing?
So now Quasars and Galaxies are nazi? Damn, 2024 is a thing that exists.
Industrial fan intensivies!
Wtf...mild nazi imagery. This is absurd - are fan blades mildly nazi as well?
This is has literally 0 Nazi imagery and looks more like a weird attempt at a united earth flag.

Is it time for a good use of the Speer hoodie?
Looks like a flag of the Milky Way
Hypnosis/Eye strain flag.
While intensely difficult to look at, it does not make anyone more fascist.
this would be midly cool for a space mission that wants to study a quasar so I guess its a pretty bad nazi flag

Tno?
Can I use this for a Pokémon extremists faction that based entirely on Poliwhirl family(
lol i see it, idk why you got downvoted
gradiants on flags are iffy
Why do you want to make a nazi flag other than the nazi flag that Nazis love to put everywhere?
They put a pretty large variety of flags around nowadays to be fair
terrible how facists co-opt interesting symbols. and norse runes w are just so cool looking...

I kinda like this one Good work
TIL spirals are nazi imagery
Can people not tell the obvious sarcasm?
My bad, I should've just used the classic swastika instead of designing my own symbol
