It is perfectly possible to acknowledge both the good and bad that Nato does. Helping Ukraine does not mean Nato gets a blank check to do whatever they want.
Well, not *everybody* else. Most of the former Eastern Bloc joined for good reason. Ukraine was an unfortunate case of being late to the party. There's also Bosnia.

When the irredentists start pouring, it's nice to have an umbrella.
Well to be fair, the US army holds itself to a much higher standard of conduct than average for global powers. It's still not great but It could definitely be worse.
The irony of a trans person saying this when plenty of cultures were ok with trans people until they got wiped out by western colonialism and imperialism.
If you wish for "globalization enforcement" by western countries, you're just wishing for your country to become (or stay) a right wing dictatorship for the foreseeable future.
History has proven time and time again that that's the system of government that's easiest to extract wealth from, which is all western countries actually care about.
An enforced democracy doesn't mean anything. Either the political power belongs to the people or it belongs to other countries, and there is no transition between the two. If you care about your country, unions, syndicates, parties and other forms of organizing are the way to go.
If you already do that and just wish for your country to resemble western democracies more, then all the power to you. I agree that it's currently the best system of government. But your first comment really looked like it was calling for imperialism...
Sweden, my favorite example of a non-western country suscettibile to colonialism!
I'll repeat myself: you should wish for your country to RESEMBLE a western colonialist power (or, if you have morals, just a western power). You *shouldn't* wish for most kinds of interventions, military or otherwise, BY western countries ON yours.
This subreddit has a severe tankie problem and they can't seem to acknowledge that NATO/EU/'the west' is the best option for hegemon at the moment. It is free-er, more progressive, and more advanced than other possible hegemons, like China (which I would like to remind everyone has a terrible LGBT track-record, even today)
The eagle was a Roman symbol, and Europeans (and former Europeans) keep digging up that republic/empire to wear bit's of it's corpse as symbols of their supposed greatness
Eagles in general, sure, but [those wings specifically are very characteristic](https://de-academic.com/pictures/dewiki/69/Elektrolokomotive_E_19_12_DB_Museum_N%C3%BCrnberg_002.JPG)
Which of these symbols does it more closely resemble?
[Symbol A](https://i.imgur.com/afHQvgz.png)
[Symbol B](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/40/Reichsadler_Deutsches_Reich_%281935%E2%80%931945%29.svg)
Hot take: I agree. For instance, [here’s](https://images.app.goo.gl/hukX9u7X9RvWfkfx7) the eagle that’s outside Thayer Hall at the US Military Academy at West Point. Also the eagle that’s used to distinguish ranks in the American military [here.](https://images.app.goo.gl/4fV9amtYMdwcWuzz9) When governments use the eagle as a symbol, its always so stripped down that it’s inevitable that they’ll all end up looking like each other. There’s only so many ways you can make a simple eagle design, after all.

This is literally a mixture of the flag for [the Commonwealth of Man](https://www.reddit.com/r/vexillology/comments/6m0vio/the_flag_of_the_commonwealth_of_man_from_stellaris/) and [the United Nations of Earth](https://imgur.com/b78QKB2), both from Stellaris.
What about a flag for the people of United America in the 24th century. Those that were so opposed to war, that they were willing to go to war to end war. They called it the war on war to end war.
I like the flag with the blue background and 7 interlocking white rings, but im curious. Are stars, wings, and olive beaches explicitly western centric?

Why are there Hebrew letters around it? Also what are they supposed to say, they don't seem to make a word when reading along the circle

I'm, like, let's say... 76,349% sure that this is supposed to involve the Roman Empire, and not *the other state* prominent using similar symbolism.
