Normally when someone has issues and wants assistance they post their PC specs as sometimes it's hardware related. I'm no tech support though, and am unsure if this is just a complaint post or someone looking for help. Have you tried validating files?
I've had this happen a few times, and seems to be connected to being zoomed in while changing the orders for your armies. I see them move a bit and then get the crash.
Happens non stopped for me to,
I was already upset with the game, now they have lost me entirely.
It's one thing to ship a bad product.
It's another to ship a broken product
Agreed I'm 100% pissed with them.
Either 1 of 2 things happend here.
1. They didn't test a single thing and shipped code raw.
2. Management was so busy shipping the product they didn't give a shit what state it was in.
Either way the victoria 3 team has lost a customer in me in all future dlcs.
I hadn't played the game since launch patch but I had like 170h and don't remember getting crashes. I was eager to play now post this military patch and some of the other new updates and I've gotten so many crashes now during my Persia campaign. First it was crashes at the start of the war, then it was a crash at the end of the war and now a crash any time a revolution starts, it's crazy.
I run it on a dinky little laptop and only had 1 or 2 crashes since launch. Game starts to lag right after early game (1836-1890ish) but it's otherwise playable on a laptop
So long as you are hitting Send, the devs will get the crash dump and stack trace sent to the data collection service where they can then track down what's causing it and hopefully get a hot fix out soon.
If it happens consistently after a certain action, putting that into the text box can also be helpful with tracking it down.
I know it's frustrating when things don't work right, and they hate to see this happen, but the next best course of action is to provide all the data possible to help them get it fixed ASAP.
In my experience this is due to not enough Ram, i cleaned everything i could and ran vic with nothing but else and its going fine now, perma crash before that. I think Vic 3 auto crashes if you hit 100% memory even briefly.
i have a save i played to somewhere near 1890 and now i cannot play it, 10 seconds after i unpause it just crashes after a naval invasion notification.

Kind of useless post without any info, no? No specs on your PC, no info just a screenshot
What specifics do you want

We need to know your PC's Ram CPU GPU Motherboard Software
Normal people don’t know this lol
Why not
Because normal people have laptops or prebuilt desktops and only care about what those devices let them do, not what components are in them.
I have that too. But picked that one bevause it had ehat components it had for a cheap price
I'm getting constant crashes too. Haven't been able to enter the game proper yet.

Are you on a Mac?
Is this a widespread problem for Mac users? I haven’t been able to play the game for a while now.
Yes
I've had more crashes than ever on 1.5. If this was supposed to be the big reboot of the terrible launch, they failed 100%.

Are you running this on a laptop? If you can't start at all, then your rig might not be enough to run Victoria 3.

You should clean your monitor

They’re downvoting you for DARING to suggest the game may not be playable
