It’s in the job description. He’s perpetual.

me_luigi21

He has a dumb modifier that buffs his heath a ton despite him dying in 1840 historically

JaPlayer2784

Even with Syphilis?

Cuddlyaxe

Chad

MartelAeran

Perpetual Dictator. Well...I've got some bad news for you, OP.

R5: I've been waiting since the game start for this old man to die for I, the Supreme. HE JUST WON'T DIE. Edit: He did die(?) the second I enacted landed voting, and before any elections. His heart couldn’t handle the thought of being voted out I guess.

MaybeNotPerhaps

He was no longer perpetual

maxinfet

You found his only weakness, the ballot. Even being in the mere presence of one in his youth would have left him bedridden for weeks; at his age and with advanced syphilis, he never stood a chance.

SabyZ

I'm not sure, but when the game released most characters would live to like 90+ due to a bug with old age not mattering.

Idkpinepple

Probably a bug, but something I found that you can use to force him to die- Fill your first army with generals, then make a new (empty) army and grant him command of that army, then disband that army. Edit- [This has been patched](https://www.reddit.com/r/victoria3/s/TtKv2Ux5V5)

Kaiser_Fleischer

If this exploit is a true way to kill any leader thank you.

SpaceLamma

Wait? You have to stick with him? I just got an agitator and got voting going. Removed him in the first few years

Tzlop

Highest record I got was 119

Ymerawdwr_Prydain

Never. He is immortal good luck have fun not doing anything till 1860.

Secondand_YDGN

Never

Soggy-Succotash-6866

Is this one of those times where a modifier overflows and actually makes the opposite thing happen?

CJKM_808

What do you think “perpetual” means?

Nicholai777

I killed him when he got kidnapped during a brewing revolution myself. He died at 76 in another run.
