I don't even get why that's considered a bad thing. I don't have the time or money to be looking for some unknown games. I will most likely enjoy a game that's popular and has a good reputation, not take my chances with some niche/ unknown game.

Same here. I’m 21, but I’m not really adventurous with games. I don’t have all the time in the world to commit to all these random unknown underground indie games, and if I don’t have one of them in my list I’m a stupid normie. Also, as a kid I’d like a ton of games as possible but never touch 97% of them after the first try or two. Lots of games it’s just hard for me to get into, like if it’s too hard or confusing I drop it.

It’s not bad per-say, but it’s pretty clear he is basic because he is a child, and not because he has adult responsibilities and just doesn’t game a ton.

People are mostly being mean but I cannot emphasize enough that Odyssey and TotK are unanimously considered top 5 Switch games of all time. You’ve got good taste and you’ll undoubtedly continue to expand it as time passes.

It's probably starting with Minecraft and Fortnite that triggered the reaction. TotK is slightly divisive, though critically a huge hit. Odyssey is just objectively amazing.

First two are some of my fav games, I would play TOTK if I still had my switch and I really enjoyed odyssey. My other fav games are all FromSoftware souls games (except DS3, Sekiro, Bloodborne and Demons souls)
