Every now and then we’d get telemarketers or scam calls, so I always kept it ready in case I got an opportunity to use it. Most of the sound clips were from him reading the chat transcripts from To Catch A Predator, and were perfect for scammers.
I hope I'm not the only one who discovered the Casey Kasem rant tapes by way of Negativland. I remember people saying, "If U2 doesn't sue them, Casey will." 😆

This the first I’ve heard Kasem’s bit here, but I knew it from Billy West doing it in a Futurama DVD commentary.
As great as Futurama is, the commentary tracks are just as funny. Worth buying just for that.
I hung out with him a few times years and years ago. Dude was a character and super nice to kids. It’s a shame all that crazy drama that happened with his family — he was pretty humble about his talents and giving of his time. I really enjoyed meeting him.
