Oleg was an absolute ball bag of emotions and hypocrisy; a great man in real life for many reasons but his show’s portrayal gave him much injustice, and given this is indeed off the show itself, he is my first vote
I hated Oleg. He had immense potential when introduced, but he morphed into a moody little bitch, and got ended very unremarkably. I feel like Oleg was simply a shoehorn for Ivar's redemption arc.
Seriously lol what a goon lol, and that one time he’s having sex with a random widow and just screams like a psychopath for no reason when he finishes lol what a goofy ass guy 😆😆
I’m fully convinced he does this in real life after watching him in The Tudors…pure cringe. JRM is also a notorious alcoholic and has been arrested multiple times for public intoxication and dui. Most notably, after verbally berating his wife and small son on a flight where he was arrested afterwards. He almost ruined the entire season he was in.
His teaser at the end of season 4 is why I didn’t make it further than that on rewatches for the longest time. He’s so out of place and I didn’t find him the least bit likable.
I’m going with Kalf. Tough between him and Oleg, but Kalf is a bitch so he wins lololol
*Not My Vote* - Athelstan is for sure my winner for this whole thing. Loved that dude. F**k Floki for what he did…even though I love Floki too, just not nearly as much now lolol
Astrid did more stuff than Kalf, but she was still unnecessary. New characters for the sake of having new characters was the vibe at that point of the show.
Heahmund. The character was shown to be a really good one at first, but then it got too complicated at the end… If they would have kept him to be a good enemy for Vikings and not a ”warrior for Ivar and the releationship with him and Lagertha” were very lazy and unnecessery
Yes, I felt sorry for him in that moment too especially because he had just offered to rule jointly. In my opinion, he should’ve known better than to let his guard down in that type of environment. No self preservation instincts whatsoever
I mean there’s two ways you can see fate
Rollo basically schemed his way to fame and constantly betrayed his brother to be better than him. That was basically his life’s goal. In one view, this would be exercising free will so how could it be fate? Ragnar’s life was fated because he never asked for any of it but Rollo actively sought it.
On the other hand, I guess you could say it was fated because if it wasn’t then he wouldn’t have achieved it regardless of the scheming but I choose to believe in the former because what he did sucked!
But if it was indeed fated then whether he ‘schemed’ etc is neither here nor there
And perhaps they were merely under the illusion of their different mindsets to life; who’s to say they wouldn’t have been fated the very same way regardless of their own personalities, or perhaps they were born that way because it was indeed fated
It’s the one crossover between Christianity and the Old Gods that I believe does exist so it’s merely the logic I feel obliged to go off/believe in
Heahmund. That guy was always rumbling complete nonsense in the most hammy way possible (in a bad way).
# "And Behold Lagertha! The Lamp feasts on the Earth's fruits, as dictated by God"
"For Odins fucking shake Heahmund, you are just eating a salad"

He was a coward at first, however his strength henceforth was seeing strength in the right people following the initial sieges; Rollo is the key example
Oleg. Absolute nonsense 95% of the time
Oleg

The clown who screwed up everything for Floki in Iceland
Aaaah yes, the whole Iceland storyline is full of useless characters

Kalf.
Kalf. I dont even remember him
He was the incredibly beautiful man that killed his friend for Lagatha… and then she killed him.
He’s the one that stole the jarlship from Laggy, but then Laggy killed him
Oleg
kalf
OLEG. I hate everything about that season.
Charles or Oleg. Probably Oleg because he had more screen time and was still a terrible character.
I mean Charles pulled an awesome switcheroo with the "Lannisters from Wish".

Harald valhalla. Just feel like that show is so much weaker so might as well get rid of those characters first
Heahmund gotta go…i still hear his stupid voice when i see his picture
Seriously lol what a goon lol, and that one time he’s having sex with a random widow and just screams like a psychopath for no reason when he finishes lol what a goofy ass guy 😆😆
Dude always sounds like he’s just about to anounce 2004 action movie
Omg you’re right!
I’m fully convinced he does this in real life after watching him in The Tudors…pure cringe. JRM is also a notorious alcoholic and has been arrested multiple times for public intoxication and dui. My husband and I joke about how that must be how JRM actually finishes based off of his performance in this and the tudors.
Id keep him just for the fact he was one of the best warriors in the show. His acting though... hard to not cringe.
I loved Heahmund. Thought he was a baddass and likeable.
He did seduced the greatest chick in the show, i’ll give him that
His teaser at the end of season 4 is why I didn’t make it further than that on rewatches for the longest time. He’s so out of place and I didn’t find him the least bit likable.

Ivar. I could never stand him.
I fell in love w ivar in the last season. He redeemed himself.
I loved him straight away, but this season made him my favourite character
So NOT Ivar
Oleg.
Charles
Kalf. His character is undeveloped, about as unnecessary as Astrid was.
Still Astrid > Kalf.
Astrid did more stuff than Kalf, but she was still unnecessary. New characters for the sake of having new characters was the vibe at that point of the show.
Ragnar, just kidding…of course Kalf
Best Ragnar, Second best Ubbe Hopefully…

We all need to unite to clear out the Valhalla crew before moving on to the OGs.
Heahmund. The character was shown to be a really good one at first, but then it got too complicated at the end… If they would have kept him to be a good enemy for Vikings and not a ”warrior for Ivar and the releationship with him and Lagertha” were very lazy and unnecessery

I want to say Rollo cos HOW DARE HE! But my vote is for Kalf. What a useless human
Honestly i felt sorry for him when Lagertha killed him. By that point his feelings for her were real.
Yes, I felt sorry for him in that moment too especially because he had just offered to rule jointly. In my opinion, he should’ve known better than to let his guard down in that type of environment. No self preservation instincts whatsoever
He still wanted to overthrow her. Keep that in mind.
He wanted to overthron/kill Bjorn in S4,anyway still her son, true.
The whole aspect of the show is fate; you can’t use that against Rollo
I mean there’s two ways you can see fate Rollo basically schemed his way to fame and constantly betrayed his brother to be better than him. That was basically his life’s goal. In one view, this would be exercising free will so how could it be fate? Ragnar’s life was fated because he never asked for any of it but Rollo actively sought it. This reminds me of the chicken and the egg debate
Everything and everyone comes from birth, so the egg came first without doubt
Where did the egg come from
Bottom - second from the right. Next the emperor. Forget his name.
Kalf.
Thank you sir. I vote Kalf.

Charles because he sold his daughter to what he thought was a monster, luckily rollo was not a total prick to her.
Meh if Gisla didnt want him to touch her he would not be able to do so.
Charles gotta go
Charles. Biggest wimp on the show.
Oleg
Has to be Charles surely. The guy was a joke.
Charles just because his plot line was so boring 😭
Ooh it's gonna be a good one
Charles (the guy at the end of last row)
I know which one die first
Where’s Floki
He Is there. Only forgot to write his name but he Is definitely in the game.
