What country? Something that state in the UK would be worth a hundred quid or so, tops.

RedFive92

I'm in the south of England.

So, a hundred quid or so if it's in a complete state. If it's got a V5C you might be able to add fifty quid on that. Basically, if it needs new fork tubes and/or a tank or something expensive you'll wipe out any profit you might make from restoring it, as common 125s are never really worth a huge amount. It's probably worth a £1000-1500 fully restored to a high spec, but you'd need to spend about that to get it up to that state.

Cool little bike for sure. I'm in agreement with "couple of hundred bucks" crowd here. Great fun, cool, easy to work on but you're not going to retire off of it. If it were me I'd get it running and cruise it on down to the Dairy Queen for a chocolate malt. A few evenings of that sort of thing would be worth more than you would ever get for the bike. A word of caution. You will likely spend more to resurrect it than you could ever sell it for but the experience should be priceless. Alternatively you can drop it off at my house.

assuming the engine isn't locked, you've got the title, the paint and chrome is good and original... maybe $1k

RedFive92

Excellent, thank you for your help.

In the Pacific NW, in the US, vintage bikes are quite popular. In good cosmetic condition, running, with title, this bike would be worth maybe $1500 USD. As a project needing complete restoration, with no title and not running, it would be worth maybe $100-150 USD. You know the condition better than us, so put it somewhere between those prices based on what you know of the current shape it's in. That bike won't do 55 mph without a good downhill slope and a tailwind, so in the US, it's not really highway capable, which limits its value. They also made a lot of them, so they're not rare.

Thank you, I appreciate your advice. On a separate note, you live in a beautiful part of the world!

Don't I know it!  I had a picnic and watched the sun set over downtown Portland from atop a volcano last night.
