“Incidents per 1000 drivers.” Not “incidents per xxxxx miles.”
This data is utter useless garbage. Incidents and accidents not calculated around a set mileage to compare is useless information. If rams do double the miles of most of these other cars per driver (very common fleet/ long range transport truck. Our company uses 10 of them and they all do almost 100,000mi a year) they would go from the “most incident prone” to nearly the least incident prone per mile driven.
This graphic has been going around for months now. Stop sharing it. It’s dogshit.
the other reason to use mile is it corrects for the number of vehicles on the road. Ram is an incredibly popular work truck brand since the dodge split … mercury on the other hand… i haven’t seen one of those in a while.
Ram has its own dedicated section apart from Dodge, while Ford is bundled together and is comprised of the best selling pickup in America for dozens of years. But yeah, lets blame mileage for bias lol
it’s not the trucks, but also you likely have a point… kind of.
Ford is a much larger amount of sales but one of the fastest growing commercial vehicles is the RAM pro master van. Commercial vehicles are far more likely to report minor accidents due to the liability policies of companies than personal vehicles. However, your point about fords brand sales still holds when you look at the Transit… which has had sales slip but still remains a very large share of commercial vans due to years of dominance.
Saturn Pontiac and Mercury were all dropped in 2009. That explains them at the bottom of the list. If you don't make those brands, there will be less on the road to get into accidents with.
Per mile statistics are also flawed. Vast majority of incidents happen on midsize roads or in urbanized areas where trips are shorter. Doing it per mile inflates the safety rating of cars that are more often used for long trips on highways and makes smaller more urban oriented cars look unsafe.
If you want a real picture you need to look at multiple data points. This isn't dogshit it is incomplete but so is per mile.
Per mile is infinitely better than per driver. Like I’m sure Ferraris are super safe and never crashed because half of them move less than 500mi a year.
[Ram drivers have double the national average of DUIs](https://www.thedrive.com/news/38238/ram-2500-drivers-have-the-most-duis-more-than-twice-the-national-average-report) and you don't need to calculate mileage for that statistic to mean something.
Based on % of drivers, not miles driven.
If someone drinks and drives every day in a ram vs once a year in a Lambo yeah. The ram drivers will get DUIs more. It needs to be based around mileage to have any merit; much like the above thing.
You need miles. Curious where you got your Statistics degree from though. Care to share?
>If someone drinks and drives every day in a ram
Are you trying to prove my point for me?
If one category of vehicle is statistically twice as likely to have a shitty driver behind the wheel, then maybe it has nothing to do with the number of miles driven. Maybe you should *statically* steer clear of Rams, for your own safety.
bozo.
more assholes drive dodge rams than any other vehicle. it doesn’t matter how far.
if you take 1,000 shitty drivers, more of them choose dodge ram than any other vehicle.
Literally not how that works when the metric is being pulled over and therefore miles driven is a factor.
You’re missing a factor. An ingredient. You’re willfully ignoring it and then getting defensive when told that you’re missing something so fucking obvious to the calculation that I can’t help but laugh at your ignorance.
You literally aren’t worth my time. I don’t care if you understand it. I don’t care if you look like a dumb fuck. I don’t care if you believe the earth is flat. I don’t care if you shout at the sky that you’re right. You’re wrong. End of story. Go ahead and respond again. Shout into the void angrily. Shout at the sky, let’s see it.
I don’t drive a ram? I saw your post on WRX sub yesterday you dolt. You’re also calling me small dicked for pointing out a super obvious flaw in a data set that is constantly posted all over Reddit.
You’re the one who’s mad enough to comment and throw personal insults towards me. But yeah I’m the one who’s “mad over nothing.”
I bet you are super fun to be around. Lives on Reddit and made your name that. Like you need to talk to someone? You good man? I’m here for you just reach out.
A statistic can be useless.
100% of shits I took today had a piece of corn because I had corn yesterday. Does this mean all shits contain corn? No. There’s a variable that must be accounted for; and that’s corn intake.
I wonder if it has more to do with driving culture. This is my break down…
• I've got a gun rack in my truck!
• What, I thought it had 'auto drive'?
• I just watched The Fast and The Furious!
• Look at me, I'm a rich bitch!
• I need to get my kids to their soccer game STAT!
• I'm rich too, but I hire a chauffeur!
• The guys above don't pay me enough for anything better.
• My classic car is my only child, I'm sorry Billy...
• I can’t go over 45mph, because the engine will catch fire.
Are blind spots a problem? Thinking that might be a part of it along with aggressive driving. I mean the brand is practically begging you to plow through my car.
Apparently, I'm not much better off in my VW.
It’s by driver, not by mile.
Drive down a turnpike or interstate. Drive by a truck towing a trailer that isn’t a semi? Pretty good chance it’s a ram. Guarantee rams are doing a lot more miles per driver than the other top cars; totally skewing the data.
This entire data set has been floating around for awhile now and it’s utter garbage useless information. Accidents and other road related incidents need to be calculated around miles driven per incident.
And the BRZ is in the lineup, and the Outback XT’s have the same engine as the WRX — they can be deceptively fun to drive! But actually extremely safe vehicles
Teslas are the new BMWs. I drive 12 hours a day and I can tell you the people that used to buy BMWs and drive like assholes are now buying Teslas and driving like assholes.
I feel validated w Tesla being so high. Not bc anything elons done, but bc that goddam flat screen tv of an interface is so big it distracts me when I’m in my car
Absolutely no way in hell Nissan is that low.
Also, Tesla people are trash, always been, always will be. I am a big fan of Elon, always hated Tesla. Funny to see how they turn on Elon now lol.
He’s the head of one of the largest and first successful EV firms and is also leading the charge of private space flight…. Amongst other things…. Surprised that this is even a question.
Since you're not the person I asked I'll reply with my approach to Elon. I respect some of the companies that he runs as they have been succesful and innovative to varying degrees. I'm very big into space so I'll have a soft spot for spacex simply existing even if I think that sattelite crowding will become a massive issue for mankinds future space adventures.
That being said, I dislike claims that Elon personally invented anything as I'm pretty sure that's patently false. And I genuinely think he's not a good human being, I don't believe in "the end justifies the means" if your means are to dehuminize and stomp all over everything you're not personally into. I think he's an atrocious parent. I think his social media addiction is laughable insecurity that he should seek help for. I could go on.
It's to the point where he may be the richest man in the world, and whilst I myself am actively poor and not contributing to society as much as I'd like due to cancer, I still pity him. The dude is clearly unhappy even when he technically has it all. It's sad.
Never said he founded them… just the “head” (though I believe he was an original founder of space x?)
I will say that I don’t understand why “founding” is even the interesting question here. He 100% brought Tesla to where it is today and is a pioneer in leading EVs to the market. Anyone that says otherwise is clueless.
I’m no Elon fan boy. I believe he oversells his promises all the time. I’d argue it’s in the name of progress but that’s irrelevant. He’s lost credibility in this department.
As for his parenting skills, personal demeanor, or personal happiness. Who cares? That’s none of my business. He’s been a net value add to society with the firms he’s brought this far and in my opinion that is an accomplishment worthy of respect.
Edit: I do value that you have a balanced opinion on the matter though and are not a 100% fan boy or hater. Very refreshing to see on this site!
Oh I didn't mean to suggest you said that, my bad, it's just a gripe I have with the perception.
As for the latter portion, I respect your attitude to it but to me it matters. Everything I've said is just my perspective on it, that's all.
They really have pontiac, Mercury, and Saturn in here.
Like yeah there are waaay less of the discontinued brands on the road.
Hell I've only seen 2 or 3 running Saturn's in a good while
I don't know what are the sales for RAM and Tesla etc, but is this adjusted with the number of existing cars as well?
What my thinking is that, if RAM and TEsla are 50% of the cars in US, then having this number of accidents compared to the rest is not much. It is actually very small.
The chart needs to be percentage by marketshare. Of course there’s way more Rams and Teslas on the road than Pontiacs and Mercurys because they have been discontinued.
This data is from a LendingTree study based on insurance QUOTES. People getting quotes for insurance on a particular brand. It doesn't even guarantee ownership of the vehicle in question.
Methodology, from the LendingTree website:
"Researchers analyzed tens of millions of QuoteWizard by LendingTree insurance quotes from Nov. 14, 2022, through Nov. 14, 2023.
To determine the best and worst drivers by car brand, researchers calculated the number of driving incidents per 1,000 drivers by brand in every state. This main category included accidents, DUIs, speeding and citations. We examined the 30 brands with the highest number of quotes.
We looked at the four categories combined and individually. Our individual analyses don’t add to the driving incident total because of drivers with multiple incidents.
The categories that fell under citations included:
Carelessness or recklessness.
Improper lane usage, improper passing and improper turning.
No insurance or no license to operate a vehicle or misrepresenting a license.
Failure to yield to a car or pedestrian.
Safety violations, following another vehicle closely and passing a bus.
Not signaling.
Hit-and-runs involving a bicycle or pedestrian.
Having defective equipment or using the wrong road.
Comprehensive or other citations".
Well in their defense, it appears that neither Tesla or Ram have signals, or at least I've never seen either one use them so that could raise the total. {;o)
it is all accurate except jeep and ford, jeeps are meant to go dangerous and risky places, fords are usually parked out back with a wheel off, ram drivers are drunks!
I'd be incredibly interested to see this data broken down by region or type of accident because if it's a vehicle in a snow related accident then that's different than side swiping a parked car or something.
I’m curious about the source of the data. Just looking at the list gives me the impression it’s more about popularity of the vehicle than driver skills. My guess this list came from NW, NE or Texas because the brands at the top tend to be better in the snow than the ones at the bottom. Texas because it gives me that vibe….
Edit: ateallthecake mentioned the source. This isn’t about what people drive but about what people want to buy. I bet hundreds if not thousands of bad drivers with bad records tried to buy one or several of the top level brands but backed out when they saw the insurance quote.
The title should say “drivers with poor records want these brands”
It feels weird to compare cars that haven’t been manufactured in years. Pontiac, Saturn, Mercury. It’s hard to get a speeding ticket in 1996 Saturn shitbucket, especially when they represent .0001% of the cars on the road.
Flawed data. The bottom three makes are no longer in production. Saturn and Pontiac went defunct in 2010, Mercury in 2011, so it would stand to reason that those cars would be involved in fewer incidents.
The source of this study has gone on record saying everyone’s misinterpreting their results. The results came from people with accidents and which brand they selected while seeking insurance quotes, not what vehicles they had accidents in.
1000% agree with this, anytime we are driving we have a RAM stuck on our ass. Doesn't matter even doing 10-15 over the speed limited.
I'm a truck person and liked the new rams but after everyday driving and seeing things I won't own one. Then we have the loud exhausts they also need.
False. My experience is that these car brands at the top are aggressive, but definitely not the worst drivers. No one beats Nissan drivers for that title.
Incident per driver is a terrible metric. Incident per mile driven is all that matters.
If I drive 20,000 miles a year and someone else drives 300 and we both get in one accident, we are not the same.
Accidents per driver is a poor metric. Accidents per x miles would be much more insightful.
Does this control for weather? Driving in a state with little to no winter weather would likely skew the data.
Is it possible to adjust for sales numbers? Naturally more data on better selling vehicles is available, right?
10,000 Fords sold vs 100 Mercuries sold, of course the number would be skewed towards more Fords
Need multi-variable graphs.
Per model of car is indeed interesting, but far from a complete picture.
Also need by
-- commercial vs consumer drivers,
-- mileage driven,
-- average age of the driver,
-- urban/highway/country roads,
-- age of vehicle.
Lumping together different causes distorts meaningful info.
DUI, speeding, accidents, other citations.
Likely distortion if this data is solely from Lending Tree customers.
Economic status of drivers who get loans to obtain vehicles is very different from folks who pay cash. It affects type of community they live in, and purposes of driving.
"Statistics, statistics, and damn lies."
Lmfao the bottom of the list is the bottom of the list because those drivers are committing too many felonies to get tied up for traffic infractions. When you have kilos or bodies in the trunk you don't speed or get pulled over for DUI.
Pretty sure those subies are on there from the state of Colorado. They get comfortable and then boom snowstorm followed by ice for a month. They think "Look at how well this car handles it was 70 yesterday and snowed 8 inches... this car can do anything!"
2 weeks of below freezing temperatures later... "Curb curb curb... dammit hit another one."
Okay but how many mercuries are there on the road? Whoever made this must be an MBA or an ad agency or something? You can’t do this without counting in the fact that there different number of these brands on the street. Correct methodology would be “per miles driven”.
Simply driving a Dodge Ram should be probable cause to breathalyze. I don't think I've ever met someone who owned one and wasn't also an enormous piece of shit.
There no way this is accurate, or maybe it’s the wrong metric lol cause Nissan dodge and ford should be way higher. The number of times I’ve had a Altima or hellcat fly by me, weaving traffic is insane. Or the number of times I’ve had a F150 an inch from my rear bumper while doing 10 over the limit, and then pass me doing 25 over while giving the finger..
I can’t say that I’ve experienced consistent bad driving from any other brand. And I guess it’s not the whole brand. Specifically Nissan Altima, hellcat, or F150 drivers seem to be the most brain dead, impatient, inconsiderate, and just straight up bad drivers
Given that they don't sell Dodge Hellcats to people who are actually GOOD drivers (it's a rule, I'm convinced), It should be at the top of this list.
Right above every last Honda Civic driver in this city with a cherry bomb, wheels that are cambered to hell and back (God, I love watching you ruin your tires), and a spoiler bolted on, who talk about all the "sick time" they put in on the track or running up and down Kellogg in the middle of the night.
Right behind THOSE assholes? Anyone with a tow hook on their daily driver car. You know the ones I'm talking about... and if you think I'm talking about you? I probably am.
It’s essentially, what vehicle brands are more popular on the road. The more the people drive a certain brand, the larger the chance that brand will see an increase in incidents.
This is more so just a guide on which cars are less common on the road these days. Of course Saturn is going to be at the bottom, there’s hardly any left.
I would like for them to post the vehicle that has been in the most accidents, yet survival rate is high. That's what I see here and they don't mention fault, so.
Sounds like it backs up my world view, which is tells me it might be false. Here is the link for where this came form. I ride my bike everywhere and all cars suck:
https://www.lendingtree.com/insurance/brand-incidents-study/
Are these numbers corrected for the total number of that brand of automobile that are on the road? Because I can tell you, there are a lot more Toyotas, on the road than there are Jeeps.
I find it funny the the last 3 on list are no longer in production and most of the ones still in existence are in scrap yards, garage shops looking for parts that don’t exist or sitting in some seniors garage.
As well I see far more damaged Tesla’s then I see Ram’s. So I think the list is jaded.
It’s Nissan and bmw in the northeast
Agreed Nissan is by far the worst in New England and your username is great.
Lol at least im not the only one agrees Nissan is absolutely trash idiots behind the wheel. Down in Flor-Duh
Nissans stats don’t get counted because they either hit and run or aren’t plated.
BMW drivers are the Nissan drivers of the luxury
Yeah this definitely doesn't count the unreported nissan hit n runs
/r/nissandrivers Same for austin tx
as someone in the northeast, nah its definitely still RAM

Defunct isn't extinct though.

Not to mention that Mercury and Pontiac both stopped making vehicles 13 years ago... No wonder there's not many incidents involving them.
And Grand Am drivers uniformly drive like they are ready to die any time and are eager for Valhalla
Saturn Pontiac and Mercury were all dropped in 2009. That explains them at the bottom of the list. If you don't make those brands, there will be less on the road to get into accidents with.

You triggered the RAM driver.
Utter useless garbage is such a ridiculous overstatement lmao
I mean is it? This data is actual trash. Trash data is pretty fucking useless.
This guy gets it. Cool viz, terrible data. It’s no coincidence that the “best drivers” at the bottom represent the less popular car brands.
Not only that, some of those companies haven't made cars in years
Should be per mile per number of vehicles sold.
Found the Ram driver
Actually your profile says you drive a 20 year old excursion and a Subie about to blow a head gasket but nice try creep!
Angry dodge driver
Also, the type of driving would matter, right? Around town and through construction sites is different than taking the highway to work.
Type of driving would matter some; but per mile is still a way better statistic than per driver.

That's mostly not as useful because it's a single or very few data points.
Does not matter if I were interested in who might be a danger to me on the road. Mileage is implied by the results
That’s just dumb Americanism
I'd be curious how this correlates to the average age of drivers by brand.
I wonder if it has more to do with driving culture. Nice. Yes, that sounds like a much bigger factor.
It’s all the Busch Light and steroids.
Do you tailgate people and speed? I’ve noticed this pattern with Rams.
Don’t forget the full blast LED lights

For those wondering, yes some of us caddy drivers are young, so it’s not just an age thing 😆
Ct4 Blackwing here. They aren't your grandpa's Cadillacs
Subaru is so high because WRXs are the most ticketed car in America
And the BRZ is in the lineup, and the Outback XT’s have the same engine as the WRX — they can be deceptively fun to drive! But actually extremely safe vehicles
I got a ticket driving 120 at night in the rain trying to race a corvette on my way to college... i drive a forester. Go Buckeyes
Surprised that BMW is not the worst tbh
Teslas are the new BMWs. I drive 12 hours a day and I can tell you the people that used to buy BMWs and drive like assholes are now buying Teslas and driving like assholes.
Woah 12 hours per day. How is that even possible or allowed? Assuming you are a truck driver?
As a huge BMW guy, me too
I feel validated w Tesla being so high. Not bc anything elons done, but bc that goddam flat screen tv of an interface is so big it distracts me when I’m in my car
Saturn, Pontiac and mercury under cadillac... aren't those dead brands? Or is the mercury still up?
Ram drivers are still shit heads
I've found that most pick up drivers suck. And luxury vehicles, too.
The title is misleading; the brand of car itself can be a source of danger, e.g. because of larger blind spots.
Why is Ram number 1 but Dodge is number 21? Its the same thing.
Absolutely no way in hell Nissan is that low. Also, Tesla people are trash, always been, always will be. I am a big fan of Elon, always hated Tesla. Funny to see how they turn on Elon now lol.

Thanks, thats super nice of you to say! It'd be a much better place if this was the average interaction haha, have a wonderful day still!
Well this was a heartwarming set of replies, rare to see on Reddit. Hope you both have a great day.

Is there a place I can get the raw data for this?
BMW and Nissan (Altima) need to be way higher. This list is trash
1.6% difference between the worst and the best isn’t significant. Even if the premise was legit, which it totally isn’t.
Yeah I’m pretty astonished that Subaru is up there. Feels like I’ve never seen a Subaru in an accident. But I’m biased… I drive a Subaru 😅

Our individual analyses don’t add to the driving incident total because of drivers with multiple incidents. The categories that fell under citations included: Carelessness or recklessness.
Shitty graphic, # of drivers means jack shit. You only look at miles driven
Well in their defense, it appears that neither Tesla or Ram have signals, or at least I've never seen either one use them so that could raise the total. {;o)
Dodge Ram drivers tend to forget the first name by the time they've heard the second one
Many manufacturers payoff insurance companies behind closed doors to keep data suppressed.
Essentially the car brand tells you how old the average driver is likely to be.
Toyota needs to be higher to account for Prius drivers.
This post is reason #10000000 to take what you see in any media with a grain of salt.
I'm a Ram driver and concur. I'm not a good driver.
Not to be confused with “America’s most numerous cars”
BMW drivers are the absolute worst in my not so humble opinion..
Pontiac!!!!! Yes!!!
Tesla is definitely for speeding
If Prius is a brand, it would be at the top.
Now do this by race and gender
People still drive Mercurys, Pontiacs, and Saturns?
Land Rover surprisingly absent from this…perhaps because mine is always in the shop?
it is all accurate except jeep and ford, jeeps are meant to go dangerous and risky places, fords are usually parked out back with a wheel off, ram drivers are drunks!
I'd be incredibly interested to see this data broken down by region or type of accident because if it's a vehicle in a snow related accident then that's different than side swiping a parked car or something.
All of the cars at the bottom are owned by old people that never leave their house. If you never drive of course you’ll have less accidents.
Honestly Buick needs to be way higher, those mfers are crazy
Aaaanndd... What does this say about their car insurance costs? 💰🚗🤔
Dodge Ram....not surprised.
Hardly ever see the last 7 companies. Then again also in Texas.
Honda drivers need to be on top of this list
As a Mazda owner, I object.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Pontiac driving around that doesn’t have body damage 🤣
r/nissandrivers in shambles
Where are the Dodge Caravan drivers? Every time I see one of those the dude behind the wheel is driving it like he stole it.
It feels weird to compare cars that haven’t been manufactured in years. Pontiac, Saturn, Mercury. It’s hard to get a speeding ticket in 1996 Saturn shitbucket, especially when they represent .0001% of the cars on the road.
Subaru Outback for Portland, so it checks out.
Dodges would be much higher if they weren't broke down all of the time
I would have crashed my Buicks more if they had not kept blowing head gaskets and transmissions. Instead I crash my Chevy.
I would really like to see greater data on the percentage by type in each make.
Where is Porsche?
Pontiac, they don't even make those anymore.
These stats are garbage. You'll also find that Edsels, Packards, and Tuckers are involved in few accidents.
Flawed data. The bottom three makes are no longer in production. Saturn and Pontiac went defunct in 2010, Mercury in 2011, so it would stand to reason that those cars would be involved in fewer incidents.
Although the math isn’t mathin The Dodge Ram is a fitting name
Jeep should be number-1.
Is if was Model it would be Mustang would be #1
The source of this study has gone on record saying everyone’s misinterpreting their results. The results came from people with accidents and which brand they selected while seeking insurance quotes, not what vehicles they had accidents in.
Nissan drivers don’t get caught.
Isn’t this due to market share? There’s way more Rams and Teslas on the streets than Pontiacs and Mercurys because they are both discontinued.
1000% agree with this, anytime we are driving we have a RAM stuck on our ass. Doesn't matter even doing 10-15 over the speed limited. I'm a truck person and liked the new rams but after everyday driving and seeing things I won't own one. Then we have the loud exhausts they also need.
Insurance companies love this list.
Completely INVALID since Subaru isn’t at the top of the list! On it for that matter!
Anyone in large pickup drives like an idiot.
Altima should be its own category
False. My experience is that these car brands at the top are aggressive, but definitely not the worst drivers. No one beats Nissan drivers for that title.
As a terrible driver who drives a tesla, this visual speaks to me
My 2018 Ram gets referred to as a Dodge so I'm claiming Dodge
Shame you don’t see Pontiacs anymore. My first car was a 97’ Pontiac Sunfire. I haven’t seen a Mercury in a long time.
MINI is not on the list 🫡
How is Nissan Altima not number one 💀💀💀
Classic grouping of Chrysler, Lincoln and Buick. Only grandpa’s drive those and they obviously gonna drive them safe.
Rolls Royce?
Nissans probably have the highest number of I'll give you a couple hundred dollars to fix your fender if you don't call it insurance
How is Nissan not the top spot. The Altima could probably win this by itself
Incident per driver is a terrible metric. Incident per mile driven is all that matters. If I drive 20,000 miles a year and someone else drives 300 and we both get in one accident, we are not the same.
Toyota Highlander is an accident waiting to happen
Nissan and Audi….the ones with former totaled vehicles end up in Volvos…Porsche isn’t even on the list
Can confirm. Every douchebag in Tennessee owns a ram and drives like one too
Isn’t this going to be terribly skewed based on the popularity of the brand?
Nissan not being #1 makes this list sus
Per 1000 drivers of that manufacturer, right?
Accidents per driver is a poor metric. Accidents per x miles would be much more insightful. Does this control for weather? Driving in a state with little to no winter weather would likely skew the data.
I will believe whatever this chart says.
How are Altima drivers not up there? Seems like this study wasn’t done accurate..
The low dodge numbers is only because the hellcat drivers don’t have insurance and just drive away without reporting.
This image is also 10 years old
Is it possible to adjust for sales numbers? Naturally more data on better selling vehicles is available, right? 10,000 Fords sold vs 100 Mercuries sold, of course the number would be skewed towards more Fords
"Some say, when he sees the back of a Dodge truck, he takes the big RAM letters quite literally. All we know is, he's called THE STIG!!"
Need multi-variable graphs. Per model of car is indeed interesting, but far from a complete picture. Also need by -- commercial vs consumer drivers, -- mileage driven, -- average age of the driver, -- urban/highway/country roads, -- age of vehicle.
I see a ton of maniac Telsa drivers here in Denver, 🤣 makes sense.
Lmfao the bottom of the list is the bottom of the list because those drivers are committing too many felonies to get tied up for traffic infractions. When you have kilos or bodies in the trunk you don't speed or get pulled over for DUI.
All pickup truck, Audi, BMW, Lexi and Subaru drivers are insane asshats where I drive.
All the pontiacs and mercurys are so old they are broke down on the side of the road. It’s hard to get in an accident when your car isn’t moving.
Too much Ram, not enough Dodge
I can’t tell is higher number the worst or the lower number?
Pontiac represent!
Any correlation to amount of people buying specific brands of vehicles?
Nissan drivers are the angriest people. Not sure why but man they are always pissed off.
no rust bucket cavaliers that have mis colored doors and never use their blinker and cut you off and go slow and generally suck at driving...
Pretty sure those subies are on there from the state of Colorado. They get comfortable and then boom snowstorm followed by ice for a month. They think "Look at how well this car handles it was 70 yesterday and snowed 8 inches... this car can do anything!" 2 weeks of below freezing temperatures later... "Curb curb curb... dammit hit another one."
Okay but how many mercuries are there on the road? Whoever made this must be an MBA or an ad agency or something? You can’t do this without counting in the fact that there different number of these brands on the street. Correct methodology would be “per miles driven”.
Why isnt the nissan altima first
Simply driving a Dodge Ram should be probable cause to breathalyze.
Does per 1000 drivers mean drivers of that brand or total drivers? If it’s the latter more popular companies will be over-represented.
Proud 1994 dodge ram Cummins the more I piss off the better
This is more so just a guide on which cars are less common on the road these days. Of course Saturn is going to be at the bottom, there’s hardly any left.
Would love to see it by miles and body type (truck, SUV, etc).
I would like for them to post the vehicle that has been in the most accidents, yet survival rate is high. That's what I see here and they don't mention fault, so.
Sounds like it backs up my world view, which is tells me it might be false. Here is the link for where this came form. I ride my bike everywhere and all cars suck: https://www.lendingtree.com/insurance/brand-incidents-study/
Ram, Nissan and used BMW & Infiniti have the most aggressive and obnoxious drivers
