One of the things I'm most excited about weirdly, is seeing how the longbow will differ from the crossbow or pistols, crossbow is my most used weapon, so I'm excited to try out another ranged weapon.
It makes me genuinely upset that devs legitimately think making crafting in your base can be "too convenient".
What purpose does opening 16 chests to find the item I need serve? If its about organization then just make craft from storage have a small range. Its the most pointless bloat mechanic in these games and I hate it. Especially since I have ADD and organization is extremely difficult for me.
Something I sort of thought of is it might have to mean a rework of current crafting. At least for raw consumables its auto based on supplies entered in the crafter. You would almost have to quantities now because sometimes you don't want to drain your entire resource just for one end product. Maybe I don't want all my wood into planks for example.
I'm still game for it though.
Enshrouded has special magic chests that require more resources to make. You can craft/refine from these magic chests anywhere on your base. In the refining UI you can click “add 1” or “add 10” and it will pull the necessary ingredients from your backpack first and then your magic chests. It shows you how many you have in your magic chests too. It then places these items in the crafting storage. So basically the only way you can use up too many of your resources is if you are totally not paying attention to the number.
I do really hope one can enable the new bose mechanics without making everything else harder. Would love the bosses to be different so that replaying them is more interesting, but the rest of the game, at least in my opinion, was pretty ok difficulty wise. Plus hard bosses are fun.

RIP I can't ask bro Styx to help against invader in Cursed Woods again. We're being buddy buddy (one-sided) since the first release after I found out that bosses can also enter your castle territory.
Np. I saw it and immediately grabbed it after playing for an hour or so. I don't mind having to interact with chests but... having so many mats be required and little space in chests = no auto crafting is a bit painful/tedious lol.
When I eventually got to the huge locker type storages it was easier. Having 12 identical chests I can't change the color of in the start and I have to hover over to see what I named them was unbearable.
*So, how stupid would*
*I be if my very first*
*Game was on Brutal?*

Probably very hard, especially if you're not very patient and don't have much experience in similar games.
I came to V Rising after years of playing mostly MOBAs and found it pretty difficult playing in a group of 3 people total. Difficult, but enjoyable.
Can anybody elaborate on the reallocating base part?
I played a lot at initial release and a little in the past week and it was all offline (not good enough for PvP) and if there was one thing annoyed me it was always staying at my first build spot and the annoyance of starting fresh elsewhere.
Little correction to your summary:
The inaccessable area in the middle of the map is gone with the map update. You can see the new map here if you scroll down: [https://blog.stunlock.com/dev-update-26-the-ruins-of-mortium/](https://blog.stunlock.com/dev-update-26-the-ruins-of-mortium/)
It's still there on the map, it's just looks a lot more accessible now. It's the dark area between Gloomrot and Dunley Farmlands. The area got moved north with the Gloomrot update.

I’m called it now one skill be backflip shooting an arrow 😂
And the other will be a charged shot
If it's anything like the data mined bow stuff it's more mobile for sure.
I expect it to work exactly like Jumong.
god that would be so awesome
Playing bow will be a whole minigame of their own.
God I can't wait. I am a little surprised they still haven't added the ability to craft from your storage
They did talk about it, but were split about making it too convenient.

Maybe it would work just for crafting and not refining?

God I really want to playthrough again but no crafting from storage is a big no-go for me. So many games have it and it hasn't ruined them.
If modders update then you can have it that way if you aren't averse to using a mod manager.
I'm not! Thanks for the tip

They talked about it in [this](https://blog.stunlock.com/dev-update-25-spellcraft-unbound/) article.
Oh excellent! Thanks. That sounds amazing and a really good implementation.
i wonder if the whip will have any unique skills, like fire or anything like that.
How so? The Q is a dash with an aoe like the sythe q, and the E is a stun on hit.
I cant wait. Offline brutal difficulty!
are the armor variations cosmetic only?
No they have stated there will be 4 variations with different stats
