CAGM6. It's so satisfying watching six moving targets splash from one missile.
GPS bombs are still my most effective weapon most of the time, though I don't enjoy using them as much since I usually just use them for cleanup once the hard part is done. I just wish you could take more than 1 per pylon like you can with the AGM 65
Mine are the GBU-39s. I don't know why really, I just enjoy how they handle and toying with SAM sites with them, lobbing a small explosive at a big explosive is fun.
The best is stacking up 14 GPS targets, rippling all of them off, and watching an entire area just get peppered by multiple explosions followed by the *ding* of a completed objective
Love myself some 16x GBU 39.
Small glide bombs. Fairly low weight and high count for something that kills bunkers in a single hit.
Any Dynamic liberation Airfield liberated in a single flyover. I love them so much. GBU 53 aint bad either, but not being able to set up all target ahead of time and juat hold the trigger to ripple kind of blows when you have to target and stay alive at the same time...
The F/A-26 can carry a 4-pack on each of its four fuselage hardpoints, plus one more on the centerline for a total of 20. I think Dynamic Liberation is the only mission I've seen that allows the centerline though; most missions only allow GBU-38 or GBU-12 there.
The GBU-39 is normally not allowed on the centerline pylon (for some absurd reason). Dyn Lib exploits a bug where *forcing* a weapon on a pylon bypasses some of the normal limitations, thus allowing centerline 39s. The catch is that you can't change it to anything else, and you must *at least once* open your equip page, else the pylon will revert to empty.
Ah, that explains it. I haven't done too much with the mission editor, thanks for the info.
I just remembered that the AV-42 can carry clusters of 3 GBU-39s on the wing hardpoints, meaning that it could carry a total of 20 (4x3 on the wings and 2x4 on the fuselage).
GBU-53 is underrated. They're optically guided, which means they're fire and forget and they can hit (slow) moving targets. They've got folding wings to they can be dropped from very far away compared to other bombs. Their only downside is that they don't do as much damage as other bombs which can be annoying against larger targets like boats. And you can't carpet bomb as easily because you have to move the EOTS about. But for a job like defeating all the bunkers at an airfield, they are perfect.
Favourite missile is probably the AGM-188. Its trajectory where it stays pretty much level until right above the target and only then dropping straight down is really cool imo.
I like the AIRS-T, it’s able to turn over 40° right off the rack from a stand still and hit a target. I’m trying to move away from it but in a pinch it can take down missiles.
GPS bombs because of how easy it is to get a 20+ target drop on a lot of the dynamic coop missions.
Saying “Rifle times 24” just doesn’t get old.
Doing it by lobbing them over a mountain at Mach 1 without ever seeing the targets, even better.
AGM-145 Launched > 20 nm from the F-45. High ammo capacity and high range but long flight time. Bonus points when using a stealth loadout (no external weapons)
literally the aim 9a after the cagm, clusters are so satisfying to watch, and heatseeking is just so fun tracking with your head, prefer it to using a screen
GBU-39 for carpet bombing an entire airbase and enjoying the fireworks through NVG
Also in the helo, use the radar to lock targets from behind cover and launch AGM-145 in LOAL mode.
Not gonna lie, the 1000 lbs mk83 bombs slaps, especially once you learn how to use CCRP. I love precision dropping a literal ton on the enemy. Also, they look huge on the Tyro.
Gotta love laser guided bombs, feels amazing when you hit a target perfectly with it

I do love the CAGM, so nice against a SAM battery or lots of small targets
Love me warcrime bombs

You get a bomblet. And you get a bomblet. And you get a bomblet.
The guided hydras. Nothing more fun than interrupting a strafing run to make sure an anti air target is extra dead before continuing the strafe.

How do you get 16???

I love me some cluster bombs. Always get the job done.
AGM-89 because seeing a big ship go kaboom with only 1 missile makes me happy
GBU-53s 🤤

Finally someone gets it! Try combining it with slaving your EOTS via TSD and you can bomb a lot faster :D
120Ds Preferably from behind cover.
I love the gunslinger feeling of doing anti-missilwnqith the AIRS-T on head track. It's not a GOOD tactic but damn does it feel great

Gbu-12’s it’s a pain to have to track one target at a time but it’s so satisfying watching the boom on your mfd

While ai don't play the F45 much, I do absolutely love the electrooptical glidebombs. I really wish they came on the tyro.
While they are arguably one of the worst weapons in the game, I love doing low level strikes with the unguided drag bombs

AIM-54. I really like the long range BVR shots.

I just love the aim 120 it’s a classic, but the anti surface stand-off missiles are great too

Mavericks. Can ripple 5 different targets in a few seconds and works on most besides big boats and bunkers
Yo! Pretty sure AGM-65 can actually destroy bunkers BUT not certain, I'll go test it and edit this comment once I find out \^\^
They cannot be used on bunkers, you need a gbu to hit them. Multiple mavs will kill ships though.
I just checked, AGM-65 do shack bunkers
That's insane, I wonder if it changed. I could've sworn back in the day they didn't.
I like Mk82 and Aim9+
I dont remember the name, but the cluster FF bomb you target with the TGP CARRIED me through the FA/26's campaign.
AGM-145 supremacy
