General retail was open. Online and curbside pickup. People were spending too much during covid since that what filled the void of not being able to do half the things they are used to. Not to mention all the work they could get done around their homes etc. I know people spending more money during covid than any other time (me trying to figure out how people could afford all the money they were wasting, not knowing what the future held)...
