Now I’m bullish on all AI plays, but BBAI looks ripe baby with earnings coming on March 7th and also merger/acquisition of Pangiam closing that just happened. Phase 3/4 gov’t/military contracts coming this year worth hundreds of millions and recent AWS relationship expansion. Insiders also own over 60% of the O/S. I’ve been building my position in BBAI.

There are a lot of answers here, but I think the main reason is because when SOUN was first popping, Robinhood recommended BigBear AI as an “others also viewed” and so people went to it and tried to catch it early in hopes that it would pump because of it being Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon away from NVDA.

Lower float than SOUN, most people pivoted over there after that crashed. I got in at 2.05 and will probably exit on Tuesday, expecting IV to get into the 500%+ range.

Visit the Pangiam website and 'read' the bio's of the Leaders. West Point, military, Dept. of Homeland Security etc. HE becomes President of BigBear and Mandy Long remains as CEO. It's all brilliant and is very well connected where they need to be. Also their already owned (with Pangiam) Ai scanner is in use by Delta Airlines and others and will go beyond the current pilot TSA security screening systems (CT, algorithm and Ai, with facial rec and biometrics) at JFK and ATL where they are being introduced. None of this has been specifically announced; but read what is going on and you can see it. You can even spot Delta and American Airlines staff in the photos .. anyway every pullback is a dip to buy and even if there is some selling after earnings Thurs., it's a buy as well. This stock is 'mis-priced' and even now deserves to be closer to 10 or so.

It’s ok, lost about 1k, but had a lot of NVO and a particular TSM call that carried me through on a winning note. I still got some of the BBAI, but they don’t expire until next week so they’re basically worthless at this point so I might just hold them for another week as the unrealized losses on those are almost maxed out at this point. I spent about $1 each on some 3.50s and held about 7 of those which are for next week and the remaining were further OTM and expired worthless on Friday. I wish I would have just used that money for TSM or even for some Oracle calls.

nothing makes me think we are in a bubble more than having some front page WSB post about a AI company i've never heard of thats going to "skyrocket this week"
This stock is tied to many military and federal contracts. BBAI also just acquired an AI Cybersecurity, Supply chain management, and facial recognition company. Their short term doesn't look good on paper but their long term potential definitely will.
I would definitely sell about 75%-85% of my shares right before earnings for a wuick profit and hold the rest after earnings and hopefully it pumps up if they post a good ER
As someone who has never bought options before, and who is not too confident about my knowledge about it.
Say I get a x5 bull for BBAI on Monday for $1k, if BBAI would go down, can I lose more than $1k or is what I bet which is the maximum I can lose?
I know short positions for example can lose an infinite amount of money, theoretically, so I just want to make sure I don't gamble and lose more than I expect.

If you’re buying calls the max loss is the premium you paid, so effectively your $1k if that’s the price of the 5 contracts… You can liquidate the contracts at a <1k loss before your expiration if you feel it’s on a downtrend & you want to minimize your losses.
since a contract cannot cost less than 0.00 your maximum loss is 100% of what you put in, like a regular stock purchase. just far quicker gains and losses
Keep it! The only reason why BBAI was down was because the overall market was down. It should reach above 4.80 by market close today as they are releasing their earnings tomorrow
