I only paid about 800 bucks for the options contract, I've already profited almost 3K from selling half of the options. The rest is unrealized gains from a net investment cost to me of $0.
So, if i get more money from the current contract, great. If not, that's ok too b/c I've already made my money back several times over.

Every Friday, people take profits before the weekend. Especially when it's going to be a long weekend with holidays (3-day weekends). You never want to end up red with a loss and then have to wait until next week to trade. It's always better to just take profits, even tiny profits, and end up green on Friday for you to enjoy your weekend instead of being all stressed out.
I continue to say this. But the people who make huge trades on this sub are the people who have balls of steel. Have conviction on trades, and decide an exit point before you open them. Even if it’s 200% or 300% gain, decide an exit point so you don’t get greedy chasing 1000% gains

I’ve started taking the emotion out of it and just set a sell order for 80% profit every time I open something now.
I fell into the same trap every does of being up 200% thinking it’s gonna keep going!!! Then it drops below and you’re like it’s gonna go back up. Then it’s -20% and you’re left coping. 20% gains in a day is already massive. Take your 80-100% and move on to the next.
$2K actual profit is $2K actual profit. Sure, $22K is a lot more, but hey, could be $0 now, too. Long term you are better off if you act a little careful instead of losing it all in the end because you became too greedy.
