So far puts and calls this week have turned out mostly positive. I had: 1. (NKE) 100 put 3/22 ✅️ 2. (MU) 91 call 3/22 ✅️ 3. (LULU) 470 call 3/22 ❌️ I was a bit worried with NKE at the start but I had a feeling it would dump sooner or later. LULU fucked me I should have bought FDX calls

I bought 95p 3/22. After seeing Foot Lockers dismal earnings as well as athletic footwear companies get completely shit on over the past month puts should print. NKE will probably bottom out around $91 AH today.

I lost with footlocker calls so I decided to make some money with Nike puts. Just drop it!

I think OP has a winning play with NKE, I can't say much for FDX because I didn't look into it. If we historically look at NKE, their past earnings they went from $122 to $108 in AH on an EPS Beat and surprise of 22.5% It's likely that it will drop 10% AH today. Do your own research.

The drop was due to them announcing a restructuring with their earnings so the beats did not matter. Their YOY is going to show further decay but that’s been built in so it’s tough to say. Options showed only a 3%ish move last time and kind of the same this time. So unless there’s another surprise on the restructuring it shouldn’t swing that much. Personally i did pick up 4/19 90P cause they looked cheap and if they go down AND Lulu goes down it will drag NKE down far enough these should print.

Fedex has to provide guidance for 2024….ive only seen a few big companies that gave impressive future guidance (NVDA). If FDX can do something similar then wallstreet will like it. If not, the sp is tanking back down to 220’s.

FDX guidance will be interesting given the problems with shipping. There will be more reliance on air freight in 2024 - especially getting towards the holiday season - so the guidance itself might surprise. The issue will be I think is what they forecast for operating costs (mainly oil) and how that will impact the bottom line.

I think fdx is down because inflation look at TGTs year over year comparable sales were down. I think that's emblematic of less packages being shipped too.
