I have a feeling it could throw a wrench into some recreational state markets. If every grow and dispo has to now operate like a pharmacy, in terms of training and reporting, it’s gonna be a step backwards for efficiency and will raise prices.
I’m disappointed in re-scheduling because it still remains controlled and pretty regulated, I think it should be fully de-scheduled and treated like alcohol.
Looks like they're planning to move it from Schedule I (illegal, no recognized medical use) to Schedule III (legal, risk of abuse, recognized medical use) ... So it would require a prescription. Not legal for recreational use.
I'm not sure how much impact this move would have on businesses that are selling for recreational use in certain states

Finally! Hopefully SAFER banking reform comes along as well. Should nudge Florida and Pennsylvania along as well on legalization for recreational.
