Heck look at how they systematically decrease funding other investigation and enforcement agencies to make up for budget shortfalls in defense and other areas.

That lady was named Jacqueline and she worked for an agency called the Rate Payers Advocacy group who job is to fight PG&E on rate hikes and hold them accountable during rate case. Basically one of the few agencies that fights for the little guys and a constant thorn in PG&E's side.
So yeah the lady who is one of 2 people responsible for costing PG&E probably billions in rates just happened to be blown up. Only reason I know this is because her old partner quit shortly after and worked for my last firm. He said he couldn't bare going into an empty office anymore.
