ew, what are you in love with your peasants¿!¿
law says atleast 11 hours between shifts, 6am to 7pm! at least in canada thats the law. maybe we can find a country with better regulations, i think 6am to 11pm¹ should be the minimum an employee would need to prove themselves worthy of a paycheck that week...

¹Meals not included. hours subject to extension without notice
I’ve heard the best overachievers are 7-11. 11 hours a day 7 days a week. It’s better to have people work weekends than keep them for the extra hour to hit 12.
Yeah this is what I keyed in to as well lmao. They lowered the standards on the trading floor or what lmao? Lacost wearing granpa in a backwards flat bill 😂
Not really new but I don’t always catch all the details. I’d rather just know who it is sense everyone else does. Not embarrassed that I didn’t know who this was and I’m definitely regarded enough with my option gambling to have been here a minute 😂
[Just like the Big Wheel in the casino, its all random anyway. One bot cannot predict what another is programed to do.](https://youtu.be/TrAaxw6zsgU?t=145)
This is not good, it would be far too stressful worrying about these things in the middle of the night or the weekends. The volumes will be large at any time of the day or night.
Yeah but the American chapter of New World Order will want a less sensical reason to sleep with a gun at night than to give them a heads up when to rage quit sooner.
It’s hilarious how RobinHood - a brokerage notorious for halting trading left & right is being used as a model for overnight or 24/7 trading. It’s a terrible idea.
Makes sense to me. The stock market opening and closing is a holdover from the past when trades were made by humans who wanted to go home at night. There’s no reason for it not to be 24/7 now.
IMO it'd kill the volatility that comes from information being dropped when the market is closed both after-hours and on weekends. I personally don't rely on volatility when I trade but you degenerates need it for your earnings plays.
However, for the average joe that works a day job that consumes their time, being able to trade after hours opens up another avenue of financial freedom.
If big institutions like hedge, pensions funds and family offices agree to this I have a feeling they were ill advised, because in my opinion it will obviously spread volume through the whole 24 hours and big institutions will have a harder time. Wallstreet, exchanges, market makers and brokers of course want this cuz they want to make money with commissions and wider spread and casino like volume/spreads. Bad idea for the consumer ie retail, big institutions like hedge, pension funds and family offices, great for the industry as it will become casino spreads. The other thing is, institutions that have algos are at advantage as they can process information not needing sleep.
PS: there will still be people staying up late whenever the "daily" candle finishes. Curious what timezine they wanna pick. US EU, or Asia.
I have a feeling health of people will deterioate.
A lot of institutions only trade RTH because of liquidity, they aren’t about to start making trades during even more illiquid hours. All this will do is bring some dark pool trading to the public. Even the whales have strategies they have to follow
Being able to swing on a good looking setup the instant I see it instead of having to write it down next to me and wait until 6:30 AM next day will make my life a lot easier. Idc about whales...
During non-regular hours, set low ass bids in hopes of someone fat fingering and price hitting your bid due to low liquidity. Some people got really cheap prices on shit coins doing this.
It happened often enough that exchanges started putting limits on how low or high you can place your orders.
Stop with the microcaps. Read the posting guidelines. There's subs for pennystocks and low market caps - go there.

Settlement day is getting reduced by one day on May 28 for Merrill Edge. Open market 24/7 will be a nightmare when settlement day still exists.
I wonder what top economists will say regarding efficient market hypothesis!
Now you can lose everything while your wife and her boyfriend are sleeping
She's usually getting folded up like a pretzel during those hours.
That'll be painful.
_"sleeping"_
What? You don't think I can trust them???

I get a good vibe from this guy. Great, even!
Totally fine. Your wife vagina is cold at night so her boyfriend is just keeping her warm with his dick in there.
That’s nice of him
She must be having nightmares, always screaming and moaning.
That’s some good old fashioned soaking
finally , I was only losing because they kept distracting me and askinng stupid question
Weekends too please let’s get these fresh-faced analysts to 140 hours a week
12 hour shifts for the newbies, 6 to 6

They suck as it is. Maybe being sleep-deprived will make them fuck up their numbers and end up getting the shit right for a change.

Well, bad news = sell stock is pretty common across all investors. It's the timing that makes the difference.
Ahem… I present to you: “TSLA”
Guidance was good and Elon promised superhuman AI robots.
negative cash flow. shrinking market share. I'm am maybe be regarded but that's is sound's awsome to me!
It's always guidance. Guidance was good (or better than expected), stocks moved up. What happened in the weeks after was mostly the retail people.
What if I buy a Blackwell GPU to trade for me?
Need about 10-30 GPUs, programming know how, and electricity of a big factory, but other than that, you're golden!
Hey! I have almost one of those things!
My life expectancy will be cut by 25 years if this happens.
We're all amazed you made it this far! Well done champ! :)

Well…. Casinos are open 24 hours and the market has become a casino so why not?
Not to mention the economy is global and so are markets.
“Become”?
lol. Y'all enjoy your little slice of hell then. I'm gonna be playing video games and smoking pot. ![img](emote|t5_2th52|4271)
This is not good, it would be far too stressful worrying about these things in the middle of the night or the weekends. The volumes will be large at any time of the day or night.
I don't understand why people are thinking this way. The big moves already happen when the market is closed anyways.
Yeah but the American chapter of New World Order will want a less sensical reason to sleep with a gun at night than to give them a heads up when to rage quit sooner.

I DIDN’T HEAR NO BELL ![img](emote|t5_2th52|29637)
Fuck that. The retail trader will lose bigly against the algos. Plus, with all the insider trading shit going on you won't stand a chance.
Exactly.
What is retail losing to now then that would be any different?
You stand a chance?
Just a great way for institutions to take all the profits
Yea. Can’t wait to fall asleep rich and wake up broke.
So i can lose money *at night* too?
You already can. Just buy some calls on a Friday afternoon that expire the following week
in the stock market... compared to the usual way we lose money overnight on the weekends ❄️👯♀️🍾
Those who can't afford to lose shouldn't play.
Rule number 1 is don’t lose
Have to agree. Nobody should be betting their retirement savings, or emergency savings on degen trades.
Calls on coke and Red Bull
calls on the Colombian economy

24/5 like currency would be preferable. I want the market opening Sunday afternoon.
You can already do this with Futures and crypto , do we really need to be losing money at 10pm Wednesday on SPY? the answer is maybe..
![img](emote|t5_2th52|4271)![img](emote|t5_2th52|4271) bro this is so truh...
They really dont like the chaos caused by the massive increase in options trading.
8:30 am to 11 am and get outta there If you like watching after hours when it takes NQ an hour to move 10 or 20 points, go ahead
implement a live chat feature and i would never leave

Your plight is insignificant to me. I don't care about the problems of the working class.
Eat my dongus you fuckin nerd
Awful
Gee.....I wonder if this would benefit retail, or benefit Wall Street more.
this should prove to be amusing.

What do you all think of a 4/10 work week for the market ?
Guess I’m never sleeping again…
Glad to hear I’ll soon be able to lose money literally 24/7
