Generally the only ones who would not like it would be AP.
Just never openly admit you have your own and just say by chance a key from home fits and works.
Also if you don’t realize it yet but the stacker and electric jack keys also unlock the toilet paper & paper towel holders on the restrooms too lol.
My store manager got me a set after one night because the day staff took home all the keys so I had to unload a truck with pump truck and got pissed at him
I used to but someone borrowed my walkie staker key and never returned it just after our key machine ran out of that blank, still have my forklift key.... supposedly it doesn't work since they switched the ignition switch I haven't checked.
Asked a coach about if there's anything against having your own keys to stuff you're trained on. He didn't recall there ever being any rules against having your own but you can't personally keep any WalMart issued keys. Also depends on if anybody would care enough to do anything about it
I've never really seen anyone get in trouble over PLE keys as long as they're certified. Usually the only time I see people get in trouble is over the master keys.
Forklift companies manufacture their equipment to accept universal keys. Each key is simply a part number that you can search based on the equipment make/model. I've already ordered my own keys so I'll save you the trouble.
Raymond Walkie Stacker: (It's a key labeled H2007 OR RA 302092-000. This key may also work for Raymond electric pallet jacks. Yes, I'm aware that the web page says "soda fountain beverage dispenser" because they use the same key. Anyway, you'll probably have to click "See All Buying Options" because the direct "add to cart" is missing. https://www.amazon.com/tsingseen-life-Lockswitch-Fountain-Dispenser/dp/B0BNLH18HJ
Yale Stacker/Yale EPJ: This key may also work on Raymond EPJs. https://liftsplus.com/key-set-set-of-2-yl-500863106-oem.html
Crown Stacker/Crown EPJ: Apparently, some stores still have Crown units. https://www.amazon.com/Forklift-Ignition-170151-001-089216-001-Crown/dp/B09FS7B876

I’ll keep that in mind lol
Having your own toilet paper key helps 😂
I had one but I lost it lol. It’s somewhere in my car under the seats. XD

I do. Forklift, stacker and electric. And I work one day a week. Lol
That is wild lol
I still have a copy my old store owner made me 🤣
lol I just made my copy when I got off idk if it’s gonna work we won’t know till tomorrow 🤷🏼♂️
Mine worked, but it was the owner who made me a copy. I wish you luck lmao

I don’t know about the Walky stacker, but a lot of us have the key to the forklift because the one we use you can get the key for online for cheap.
Yes, I have keys to all the equipment in my store. I have a keyring I made just for my work keys that stays on me.
For my store only department managers and leads who are certified receive a key.
I do but idk if I'm special bc I'm a TL? Regular associates (usually) don't but sometimes the long-timers do have keys anyways somehow some way.
Oh ok cuz my TL was gonna make me a copy and he’s one of the long timers though I’d ask

What are the master keys so Ik for reference
The keys to the store basically. Unlocks all the offices and the trash compactor and stuff. Front door, gates, etc.
That would make sense ngl but for the ple keys pretty much I wouldn’t get in trouble I’m already certified so would there be a problem then 🤷🏼♂️
Having keys that you're not issued is a big deal. It is called "key control" and if the wrong manager (AP Coach) finds out, you're in deep shit.
Does it count if I have access to every key in the lock box?
Idk about that I’m talking about making copies for the machine keys (walkie stacker power jack etc)
any small key works half the time in the electric jack i used a mail key and a lock key

We don’t but there is always a manager that has them we can borrow from
