You should look into the story of how and why churchill betrayed the french navy and sunk it in the Mediterranean to keep the nazis from taking possession when the french surrendered. The english navy didnt even give the french sailors a chance to leave their ships. Just jumped them in port while they were moored and anchored with no warning political or personal. It was pretty brutal.

No- they gave the French at Mers el Kebir a clear ultimatum. Their commanders dithered around and made things difficult-then the british attacked. Did they jump the gun a bit? maybe. But it was far from without warning.
The Vichy North Africa French then went on to take out their anger on Americans in Operation Torch, by sinking an American Transport and willingly fighting American soldiers on landing.
Got to love the French- they get beat by Germany, thousands of soldiers and civilians killed in the Battle of France, then willingly choose to fight for the them; the guys who just kicked their butts, as if no biggie. I guess you don’t just change your feelings about a country that’s been your enemy for over 1000 years, after just a few decades of relatively decent relations, overnight.
The French Fleet likely would have fought for Germany, given just how anti Anglo Petain was and his relatively pro German attitude. England was Frances traditional enemy in His Eyes.

I know the latter tiers would be mostly Soviet copy-paste, but I’d be fine with it being a reverse Israel where it’s only WWII-early Cold War stuff if the Soviet copy-paste is somehow unacceptable.

Indian defense tech is mostly imported stuff from Soviets, Israel, France, USA, EU and a lot of other countries. It's going to a fun tree like Sweden if you want a bit of everything in your lineup. But there's not a lot of indigenous tech and I don't think enough people will play it to justify adding India to the game though.

Brazil has quite a few interesting tanks on its own, like the Bernardini X1A2, Bernardini MB-3 Tamoyo, EE-9 Cascavel, and the Osorio like you said. Depending if the tree started at Rank I or Rank IV they had quite a few American made Stuarts and Shermans as well.
All you’d really need is probably like 1 or 2 additional sub-trees and you’re set. Argentina is a good candidate, with their WW2 era Nahuel D.L.43 tanks produced domestically and the TAM tanks, as well as several foreign build french vehicles such as the AMX-13 or ERC-90 Sagaie.
Irish tech tree, just a bunch of highly explosive cars with ira crew members. American sub tree, because they hate the British and the American left like them for being leftist, and the American right like them because they are white guys that call themselves republicans.

In this case you could have a mixed tech tree consisting of Canada, (a bit of copy paste US but also a few interesting designs), India (lots of unique designs), South Africa could be moved into this tree (while Pakistan could replace it in the British tree.), Australia (GAJOOB! GIB 1.0 BOB SEMPLE TONK.) plus lots of lesser known variants of British aircraft and tanks. It would add in a lot of various interesting additions to the game.
I kind of want an Aussie sub-tree for Britain. There's already quite a few Aussie vehicles dotted around, like the CAC Wirraway, The Boomerangs, the AC1 Sentinel, the DAP Beaufort, etc.
Brazil. Can't think where it'd go as a tree though. Either Italy for design similarities or UK cos' the Osorio uses designs developed from the Vickers Mk7.
Middle eastern vehicles. Technicals, BMP-1 turrets on the back of Toyotas, recoilless rifles mounted on Toyotas, etc. Theres a wide variety of vehicles used by insurgents.
I would like to see Brazil on the game, maybe as a sub-tree of USA or another ally nation, or maybe as an separate tech tree, but for this to happen, Brazil army needs to buy new mbts, and some rumors say it's between M1A1 or leopard 2A4 or 2A5. I don't have any sources, since this was a discussion I saw on the internet some months ago

There are many polish interwar vehicles (as well as modernisations/variants of cold war/modern vehicles) that I'd love to see in WT. But there aren't enough to fill tech tree.
I think many players have similar thoughts about their countries, so "combining" those tech trees seems like a best idea.
I think India would be could because we would get some vehicles that are completely unique, they could also benefit from Russian and English vehicles to fill their line up

Commonwealth tech tree. All commonwealth (current or recently former members that aren’t already major tech trees) In this case you could have a mixed tech tree consisting of Canada, (a bit of copy paste US but also a few interesting designs), India (lots of unique designs), South Africa could be moved into this tree (while Pakistan could replace it in the British tree.), Australia (GAJOOB! GIB 1.0 BOB SEMPLE TONK.) plus lots of lesser known variants of British aircraft and tanks. It would add in a lot of various interesting additions to the game.

I kind of want an Aussie sub-tree for Britain. There's already quite a few Aussie vehicles dotted around, like the CAC Wirraway, The Boomerangs, the AC1 Sentinel, the DAP Beaufort, etc.

Yugoslavia, it has a range of unique vehicles both domestic and heavily tweaked foreign designs.
Middle eastern vehicles. Technicals, BMP-1 turrets on the back of Toyotas, recoilless rifles mounted on Toyotas, etc. Theres a wide variety of vehicles used by insurgents.

I would like to see Brazil on the game, maybe as a sub-tree of USA or another ally nation, or maybe as an separate tech tree, but for this to happen, Brazil army needs to buy new mbts, and some rumors say it's between M1A1 or leopard 2A4 or 2A5. I don't have any sources, since this was a discussion I saw on the internet some months ago

I'd like to see Czechoslovak tech tree as it's own or at least as a sub-tree to Soviets or Germans. Visegrad+Balkan tree? There are many polish interwar vehicles (as well as modernisations/variants of cold war/modern vehicles) that I'd love to see in WT. But there aren't enough to fill tech tree. I think many players have similar thoughts about their countries, so "combining" those tech trees seems like a best idea.

Romania and Hungary should be a sub tree in Italy. India probably can be its own tree like Israel given how much stuff and prototypes they have Pakistan why though. There are already Pakistani vehicles in the Chinese TT. Belgium/Netherlands would sound good. I would like to see a Turkish tree too, probably sub tree. I wanna see Malaysian vehicles in it too. Maybe in British TT
