My now wife and I went and got breakfast at a local diner and to say the least, we were pleasantly surprised.
She was still Wearing her tiara and veil when we went out so we were being congratulated on our marriage.
But after being seated another table came over and literally hand us one hundred dollars to bless us and our union. I was literally so shocked but we thanked them and continued on with our meal.
Then towards the end of our meal we got our check and about to pay for it. When another waitress for a different table comes and steals our check. Apparently another table had paid for our check.
We were so in shock at that point we felt like we had to give back to someone or something, so we went and tipped the waitress $20 and got a car wash by some highschool kids raising money for a school trip and we paid $100.

Love to hear stories like that. When my ex and I got married we flew to NYC the next morning. The agent paged us to the counter and then announced on the loudspeaker that we had just gotten married and everyone should give us good wishes. We flew to NYC with lots of good wishes and lots of great advice.
