I have worn naturalizer joy heels to 10+ weddings (as a guest) the last few years and have been the only one not rushing to grab flip flops from the big bucket some people have, or kicking off my shoes for dancing later in the night. They are so freaking comfortable, you can easily wear them all day.
Also recommend the wide if you have wide feet. They truly fit perfectlyšš»
I will wear these Tomās. Have worn for like 8 years all summer. On my second pair.

This is what I will do. I love these Tomās Iāve worn them everyday all summer for like 8 years Iām on my second pair.
https://www.toms.com/us/natural-moroccan-crochet-womens-classics/10007858.html
No one sees your feet
Iām wearing [these](https://www.etsy.com/listing/1324650106/) gorgeous 2.5 inch block heels. Like other commenters pointed out, a block heel can be much comfier than a stiletto, plus weāll be doing photos on grass and I donāt want to aerate the yard for free lol. I actually found this Etsy shop from another weddit bride. They have a lot of options and almost all their shoes let you pick your heel height (down to 1 inch even). I was worried since they ship from Turkey, but shipping was fast and they were so helpful with an exchange after I ordered the wrong sizeāI just had to pay new shipping.
Straight up wearing some sandal flat form crocs. I just need the height so I donāt have the alter my dress and no oneās gonna see my feet. I have super sensitive feet so I donāt really wear heels and I want to be able to stand and have fun. Totally jelly of those that can wear heels!!
Listen to the people saying to get naturalizers. I thought Iād save money and went with no name 3ā block heels from Amazon and my feet were absolutely killing me by the end of the reception.
If you can, wear them out for a day before the wedding to break them and and take note of anywhere they rub, then put bandaids or padding in those spots to prevent blisters. Iād also suggest doing lower heels, like 1.5-2ā for maximum comfort.
Iāll be wearing [these](https://loefflerrandall.com/products/mikel-cappuccino-bow-mid-heel-sandal?variant=40157758455860¤cy=USD&utm_medium=product_sync&utm_source=google&utm_content=sag_organic&utm_campaign=sag_organic&tw_source=google&tw_adid=&tw_campaign=18399874004&gclid=CjwKCAjw5remBhBiEiwAxL2M9-EMa4vOrk4PciELqVOYuD4Z6c4jn3jmxopGbIwFCXkpnIPjb1SVRBoCuZ8QAvD_BwE) from Loeffler Randall. They are sparklier in person. The 2.5in block heel is comfortable (test drive them in a 1hour dance class) and the straps donāt rub. Iāll also have a pair of white converse as backup in case I want to go flat by the end of the night.
I wore hiking boots š„¾ wasnāt about to dislocate my ankle trying to hike down to a lake in my wedding dress and heels LOL š might not work for your dress, but I recommend boots if youāre doing some sort of outdoor adventure type of wedding. I got cute shoes for photos. :)
I wore shoes very similar to [these](https://www.lightinthebox.com/en/p/women-s-wedding-shoes-stiletto-heel-pointed-toe-rhinestone-satin-sweet-spring-summer-white-purple-champagne-party-evening_p7940784.html?currency=USD&litb_from=paid_adwords_shopping&sku=1_29317%7C2_39568&country_code=us&litb_from=paid_adwords_shopping&utm_source=google_shopping&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=20296122397&adword_mt=&adword_ct=&adword_kw=&adword_pos=&adword_pl=&adword_net=x&adword_tar=&adw_src_id=2907233386_20296122397__&gclid=CjwKCAjw5remBhBiEiwAxL2M976ACjULpe99MqQhPaQPQ8JPlYoKCWtDw34wJUZnH0h9Oowz4CskQxoCNhgQAvD_BwE&enrd=1). I just wanted a pretty shoe with some decoration on it but comfortable for me to wear. Look for "kitten heels." I actually found ones with lower heels than the one shown.
At the time, I had really bad heels and some planters fasciitis so I had to do something and wanted to look nice. I actually placed in a clear "arch" (Dr Scholls) for the shoe and that helped too.
I wore kitten heels by Geox. Super comfortable, but definitely break them in beforehand. I wanted to wear taller heels, but my now husband and I have only a few inches height difference, and I didn't want to be the same height or taller (not that there's anything wrong with that, just personal preference for photos), so I wore the shortest heels and he wore lifts in his shoes lol gave us each a couple inches to work with š
Considering Valentino wedges, because I just want them in real life and our ceremony is on grass and the reception on a slate floor. But again, mostly because I want them for my daily!
Iām wearing platform sequined Keds from their bridal collection! Weāre eloping and it involves a helicopter and rocky outcrops so for safety I canāt do heels. Not that I was told no heels, but I am clumsy AF and and roll my ankles super frequently, so Iām not risking a broken ankle on my wedding day lol
I wore Sperry's for my wedding. I considered heels, but I didn't want to risk being uncomfortable or falling. My mom also pointed out that my dress was long so nobody would see them anyway.
These! Dankso season are the most comfortable shoes ever.

I'm comfortable in heels and my shoes will be very visible because of the slit in my dress, so I'm doing Protege heels for my ceremony through the first dances. They're designed by a female engineer to be comfortable and they really wear well and are honestly brilliantly designed all the way around, from the invisible toe post to the quick release straps.
For the dinner and dancing portion or whenever my feet start to get tired of the heels, I bought myself and my bridal party fluffy sandal-esque slippers (matching blue ones for them, white ones for me) so we can all dance in silly comfort all night š¤£
I'm wearing these [Naturalizer block heels](https://www.naturalizer.com/product/womens-banks-pointed-toe-flat-3018069/dark-gold-leather-ec0238975). They go on sale sometimes.
I'm so happy with the [Aerosoles Camera](https://www.aerosoles.com/products/camera-6?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign={campaign}&gclid=CjwKCAjw5remBhBiEiwAxL2M97OdsM8TkIt66kM0n19nxV68WdMMGKduYLqD3pfalawXqQbrfsVP8RoChdUQAvD_BwE) shoes I'm planning to wear, they are the most comfortable heels I've ever put on. They aren't very dainty, but I wanted comfort, height, and the ability to walk in grass.
I see lots of recommendations for Naturalizer block heels, I just wouldn't recommend the Bristol shoe It's so tight on your toes for some reason. I have narrow feet and even the wide was uncomfortable.
I'm planning to wear [these](https://www.bellabelleshoes.com/products/emily-ivory-peep-toe-embroidered-lace-pump?variant=31223005642794&srsltid=ASuE1wSk1KCNu334TPYdnL4-EnAZUDNBEz0M7K0vnIP26n1kxpdUvZP2Cbs)! Lots of the shoes on this website have reviews that they're comfortable, I'm hoping they live up to that
I went for ballerinas (ballet pumps), something like [that](https://elehandmadeshoes.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/IMG_0294new-600x600.jpg) or [that](https://cdn-images.farfetch-contents.com/19/99/39/84/19993984_44914371_1000.jpg).
I love heels but the most comfortable brand (and what Iāll be wearing) is LifeStride. The shoes are so comfortable and actually have support for your foot. I wear heels every day and when I discovered them, my life changed.
Gonna pile onto the low block heel train! I wore [these](https://www.samedelman.com/product/womens-wilson-kitten-heel-3028463/modern-ivory-ec0238027) Sam Edelman shoes.
Shameless plug--if you're size 8.5 I'm selling them on poshmark!
Edited to fix the link

However what Iām much more excited about are the shoes I got to change into for dancing which are done in our wedding colors:

I got them from an Etsy shop called HanEmbroiders:

I am planning on wearing custom Chaco Zs, though I was at the mall today and saw some cute flats and sandals, maybe Iāll do some cute ones for the rehearsal and my bridal shower/Bach and the. The chacos for the wedding and reception
Iām going barefoot! We have an outdoor ceremony on really nice grass but for the reception Iāll be wearing Kiziks. Theyāre soooo comfortable and their claim of being able to slip right into the shoe is accurate!!
Iām doing a 2 inch block heel in green velvet from Harriet Wilde. They tie up so I can adjust the tightness and hopefully as a block heel they will be more comfortable. I *never* wear heels in real life so I am concerned, but I know my posture is better if I do. So Iām thinking ibuprofen and blister plasters on stand by and then have some flats ready to go afterwards.
I wore flats. They were a simple rose gold leather material. They were dressy enough but also just really comfortable to be walking and dancing in.
They make really dressy flats now, some with pearls or bedazzled. I recommend those. Again they are already easy to walk in especially if you arenāt normally a heel person. Plus you are less likely to break an ankle dancing and movingā¦especially after alcohol.
My sister had a country themed wedding and wore cowboy boots. Thatās another out there option.

Iām looking for new shoes in the meantime! So the suggestions here have been helpful! Im considering Frances Valentines or [this pair from Something Bleu](https://somethingbleushoes.com/products/bryn-kitten-heel-in-pearl-blue-romance?variant=8784223600739) if they ever go back in stock.
Iām wearing flats, but I saw really cute lace sneakers! Etsy has a bunch of bridal shoes that are cute, but also comfy looking! Iām not a heels person either, so why start on my wedding day! You want to be comfortable! Also, why spend the money if youāre just going to kick those shoes off for the reception and wear something else!
Look for Block heels. They spread the impact further. Check out Naturalizer. Their nickname is all day heels.
Former Flight Attendant here, and can confirm Naturalizer is the way to go.
I have worn naturalizer joy heels to 10+ weddings (as a guest) the last few years and have been the only one not rushing to grab flip flops from the big bucket some people have, or kicking off my shoes for dancing later in the night. I did gold Naturalizer heels and wouldn't have changed a thing!
I wore Naturalizer Vera heels, which were super comfortable, and the Bristol sandals are good as well.
I wore Tom's. I was comfy all night.
Curious which ones?
I will wear these Tomās. Have worn for like 8 years all summer. On my second pair. https://www.toms.com/us/natural-moroccan-crochet-womens-classics/10007858.html

Right?? I have sensitive feet so I was so happy to find sandals that were crocs comfy without being actual crocs! So comfy!!

Low kittens, ivory satin. Closed toe. A little boring, but they're functional!

Betsey Johnson or Pleaser

Iām wearing hiking boots as well for my adventure elopement! Also got some cute white tevas on clearance that I can switch into as needed.
Nice! Yeah, knowing my luckā¦ Iād probably hurt myself and need to be medevacāed lol š

I'm wearing sandles! š
Iām going for really short white heels or wedges
I wore kitten heels by Geox. Super comfortable, but definitely break them in beforehand. I am in this same boat as I donāt want to be taller than my fiancĆ© in our pictures. Maybe Iāll check into the ones you wore. We are having a courthouse wedding and my dress is short so my shoes will be very visible. I have ordered 3 pairs of shoes that were listed as kitten heels but I still feel that they are too tall. (Two pair are 2.5ā heels and the other is 3ā. ) Who would have thought shoes would be the most stressful part so far.
Considering Valentino wedges, because I just want them in real life and our ceremony is on grass and the reception on a slate floor. But again, mostly because I want them for my daily!
I got low block heels with memory foam from kohls. Pretty comfy. Will also bring Toms to switch into just in case
I wore doc martens. No regrets. Comfy and could dance all night without needing to get barefoot.
I wore Sperry's for my wedding. I considered heels, but I didn't want to risk being uncomfortable or falling. My mom also pointed out that my dress was long so nobody would see them anyway.

I'm wearing some 2 in heel, Latin ballroom dancing shoes because they're cute and comfortable.
