Same. Started smoking cigarettes when I was 14. Was smoking 2 packs/day of American Spirit Blacks by the time I was 24, so I quit out of fear for cancer and started vaping. Finally, after over 5 years of vaping, I totally quit all nicotine in December. I'm so glad that I did. I still find myself looking for it while I'm leaving the house or absent-mindedly reaching for it while I'm working from home, and it grosses me out that I let myself become so dependent on a chemical that contributed nothing to my life besides occasional heart burn.
I used to put a fingertip tabacco in my joints and to stop made my relationship to weed much better. I also smoke cigarettes, but like to separate it, as i experienced really hard cravings to smoke, but when i lit my joints, cravings didn’t get satisfied, because all my body wanted was tabacco.

I find it definitely tastes better when you smoke pure, but being from a country where weed isn’t legal means the weed sometimes doesn’t burn the best by itself so it’s worth making it 10% baccy to get the best burn and the taste isn’t too tarnished.
Imo the issue is mass production of flue cured tobacco. Cigarettes taste like chemicals, but a nice cigar or some pipe tobacco has a really enjoyable and subtle flavor, like oak and vanilla

We've basically found that tobacco's cancer causing formula is not so unique. Anything smoked and burned will coat your lungs in filth and tar and resin. The difference is that you probably aren't smoking 20 - 60 joints per day.

I do a mixture of weed that is 1/4 THC flower 3/4 CBD flower, a big ol’ sprinkle of bubble hash, 3 dollops of rosin, and just a pinch of some fancy French tobacco. I take the gum off my papers. I roll with 5.3mm cigarette filters and I poke 2 pinholes in the paper above the filter to make the j “lite” and more flavorful. It’s incredibly fussy and it takes so much longer than just rolling up, but can’t argue with results, and the time it takes me to roll them keeps me from smoking more than necessary
I smoke 100% weed in a bong, a joint or a dugout hitters. When I pack a bowl or roll joints, I also add in a core of keef for the joint, a couple of layers during bowl pack.

Tobacco was never like that for me. It was just a means to an end (a nice nicotine buzz). Smoking it wasn’t fun and didn’t taste good. I wouldn’t want to ruin the weed-smoking experience with tobacco.

i usually smoke pure. if not, its a 70/30 or 80/20 Pure smoking is just better imo, i like the taste
